First time diving Key West and I chose Finz. The crew took us out for a twilight and night dive and it did not disappoint. I was fortunate to Have Amy and Tim for the frew and Amy was a fantastic guide and dive buddy. Finz provided plenty of water and the boats were comfortable. Tim and Amy made the whole experience worth while and really took care of the three divers on board. Kind, expert, and good humored the Finz experience was one of my better dive interactions and it felt like a catered experience!

Today, we had the most incredible experience on a booked charter with Finz Dive Center and Dive Shop. Starting at 7am, Captain Robert and First-mate Ashley meet us on the dock and gave us a very warm greeting. We then started our adventure starting with a run to the Dry Tortuga, a quick snorkeling trip, and ended with a few hours of extremely eventful fishing. The entire time, Captain Robert and Ashley filled the travel time with exciting stories and knowledge sharing of the surrounding islands, ocean life, and Key West recommendations. Once we got to the National Park, Captain Robert and Ashley gave us a wonderful tour of Fort Jefferson where they shared a ton of facts about the park. We then spent an hour snorkeling an incredible coral reef where we saw so many different species of fish. We then ended with some fishing where we were catching fish every couple of minutes. This trip was truly a once in a lifetime experience that continued to deliver a wonderful experience throughout the day. I give this company and crew the highest recommendation if you are looking for an amazing experience. Look no further than this wonderful local business for everything from a fishing/diving trip, to a private trip to the National Park. We look forward to the next time we are able to come back and take another trip with Finz.

I booked a private charter for myself and my 2 adult children out to Dry Tortugas and it was fantastic - worth every penny. Although the point of our trip was to visit Fort Jefferson, the private snorkeling adventure and beach lunch were an added bonus and made for an amazing day. We got to Fort Jefferson prior to the park ferry, so with the exception of a few other visitors we had the place to ourselves. Our tour captain - Amy - was so knowledgeable about the history of the fort and the island. Didn’t expect to get our own private tour so that was a pleasant surprise! Amy and Mike made the day magical - took us to the perfect snorkeling spot off Loggerhead Key where we were able to snorkel above a ship wreck (bucket list!) and saw amazing fish and underwater life up close. We were then taken to a very private beach where Amy set up an umbrella for shade (nice touch!) and we had lunch. More snorkeling off the island and the reefs were amazing! Can’t say enough about the service and how the day was all about us and what we wanted to do. My kids had never snorkeled before and it has been many years since for me - plus we are not really “boat” people - so I was worried that we would be too inexperienced for this, but Amy was sooooo kind and patient with us. Everything was well explained to us before we left the dock so we knew what to expect. I want to add that I received multiple phone calls from Finz prior to us getting to Key West asking if we had questions and making sure we were ready for the day which made me much more comfortable about booking something online without prior knowledge of the company. If you are on the fence about booking with Finz, DO IT! You will not be disappointed. Again, worth every penny. Thanks again to Amy and Mike for a day I will never forget. The GoPro pictures and videos were invaluable!

My family of six dove for two days with Finz dive center. We are novice divers who wanted a personalized experience in warm beautiful clear waters. Our first day was a bucket list item for sure going to Dry Tortugas National Park to dive three sites and do a site tour of the fort with lunch provided that we are at the fort. Our dive master Nick was incredible and helped my family with four boys 17,13,10 and 10) feel comfortable on our first post certification dives. We dived the Windjammer on our third dive which is only in 20 ft of water and was amazing! Tons of fish including seeing a Goliath Grouper under on of the sections of the ship. Being in a National Park made everything large and unspoiled. Our Captain Kelly was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They had all our tanks setup for each dive and gave great tips to improve our experience as well as great food recommendations for afterward. The second day we dove near Key Weat and learned to spear fish we got a Yellow Jack which we took to Hogfish Grill after to cook. It was amazing. We saw large grouper and even a nurse shark and stingray on one of the dives. I would highly recommend Finz over the standard large boat dive companies. The smaller personalized experience was very appreciated. They helped us feel extremely comfortable and made the dives amazing.

We took a full day private tour to the Dry Tortugas with Kelly and Taylor today. We had an amazing time. Taylor was our Johnny On the Spot Dive Master. So much fun and so professional! Also, she gave us an exceptional private tour of Fort Jefferson as if she was the caretaker over there. Incredibly knowledgeable and made the tour so much fun. Plus there were no tourists there (other than us) We toured and then we took a dive on the Texas reef, and then hit the Windjammer and had lunch later at Loggerhead key which was amazing. These guys were such great guides. Later we headed back and dove for Lovett’s off of Key West for 40 minutes. So much fun!! Taylor and Kelly were both great hosts and super professional. If you’re looking for a trio of a lifetime you should really consider a day at Dry Tortugas and the only way to go is a private tour. I can’t speak to the other guides but these guys at Finz, Taylor and Kelly, were as good as I’ve ever been with. Thank you for making our trip!

Best 6 pack dive operation in Key West. No cattle herding! My personal preference. My buddy and I Went on a 2 tank afternoon dive to the Vandenberg and Joe's Tug. Captain Rob and Captain Kelly were the crew. Awesome divers and crew the both of them. Very helpful on and off the boat with equipment.. Excellent and smooth help getting into and out of the water for the every dive. Felt very safe with them from beginning to end. Booked the charter for the Dry Tortugas. We had Robert and Ashley as our guides for the day. Three of us were diving, two younger kids were snorkeling and the wife just hung out on the boat. We started the day touring Fort Jefferson. Ashley guided us throughout the Fort giving us some of the historical relevance. Great experience! From there, we went to Loggerhead Key where we walked around the island by the lighthouse and ate our lunch on the beach. Very unique and isolated place. From there, Ashley took the 3 of us to dive the Windjammer while Robert got the 2 younger boys in the water to snorkel above us. Robert had a lot of patience with the boys, neither have ever been in the open water snorkeling like this before. One jumped in, saw a Shark and that was the end of them snorkeling for the moment, haha. Ashley did a phenomenal job guiding us around the Windjammer (easy dive, but a ton to see). We spent some time with the resident goliath grouper that hangs out on the bottom. This is where I really became impressed with Ashley/Robert as guides. When we surfaced and learned that the two younger boys were uncomfortable being in the water, Ashley immediately prepped the boys and jumped in to snorkel with them. Once she got in the water the other two followed and had a great time snorkeling around. Next we conducted a drift dive at Texas Rock. Again, Ashley did a fantastic job guiding us along the rock....TONS to see!! Once we surfaced, Robert took the boys to another area, a little shallower so the two younger boys could snorkel again. The boys had tons of confidence while in the water with Ashley guiding them. The Fort, lighthouse tour and dives were awesome! I was most appreciative for the extra time Robert and Ashley spent making sure the younger two boys were able to snorkel and have fun! I would definitely book with Finz again!

We had a great time going to Dry Tortugas with Ashley as a guide. Between the sea plane, ferry, and tour with FINZ, this was the way to go to the Dry Tortugas. Ashley did everything and took good care of us! We had an amazing tour of the fort and private snorkeling tour of coral reefs off of an pristine secluded island. Ashley’s knowledge was incredible. She was a history buff at the fort with an amazing tour with all the facts and interesting stories of it’s history. She was and ocean expert with amazing details on all the creatures and fish we saw. Catered lunch was incredibly fresh and lots of snacks. This was such a great day for our family while visiting the Keys

We booked a charter to the Dry Tortugas which included snorkeling and lunch on this beautiful beach with Ashley and Mike for my friend’s birthday! Ashley was absolutely great in getting the cake and supplies to surprise our friend. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! You will not be disappointed in booking with FINZ.

My family and I went on a private diving trip to Dry Tortugas for a tour of the fort, a dive on a coral reef, and dive a sunken windjammer. Cole, our captain, and Kelly, our dive master, were great! My family had an amazing, memorable, and educational day. Kelly took great GoPro pictures that he shared with us at the end of the dive that we will enjoy for years to come as a memento of our dives. Thank you Finz!

Our group had an awesome day on the water with captain Kelly and dive master Nick. We started our day at 7am at the marina, and after an hour and a half trip on their 34ft boat, we arrived at Fort Jefferson on the Dry Tortugas. Aside from a handful of campers and a small group who arrived by seaplane, we had the island and fort almost entirely to ourselves before the large ferry group arrived. Nick gave us a walking tour of the fort and surrounding area and we were free to explore for as long as we wanted. After the large ferry group of several hundred people arrived, we decided to head out to open water for some snorkeling around a submerged shipwreck and beautiful reefs. All necessary gear was provided and Nick accompanied us on our dive as Kelly watched over our group. We proceeded to nearby Loggerhead Key for some lunch and to explore this nearly deserted island. It is home to a beautiful abandoned lighthouse and many turtle nests. After lunch we did some more snorkeling and then headed back for Key West. It was a long but fun filled day on the water. Kelly and Nick were very patient and accommodating of our groups needs. If you can afford the price I would highly recommend seeing the Tortugas with Finz over the ferry or seaplane. We had a much longer time to explore and got to see and do so much more than we would have in a large group. If you don't like smaller boats or are prone to seasickness this might not but be your best option but on a clear day with calm seas the trip wasn't bad at all. Overall I give Finz 5 stars for their professionalism and the unique experience they offer.

We dove the Vandenburg with the Finz crew today and it was an amazing experience. The dive master was very patient, made sure all divers were comfortable with the plan. The captain and crew were great too, making sure we knew our way around the boat. And everyone at the shop were friendly and knowledgeable. The BEST dive experience in the Florida Keys. You will not be disappointed!!! Thank you for an amazing experience! We WILL be back!!!!

Robert and Mike provided the experience of a lifetime! I chartered a private trip to Dry Tortugas and Loggerhead Island. I shared with Robert my love of sea turtles and he made sure to stop the boat any time he saw turtles on the surface. We made three snorkel stops, one even at an old ship wreck! Absolutely top notch hospitality, great senses of humor, flexibility for customizing the trip, and paying attention to all the details. Highly recommend!

I will never dive with anyone else! Finz is the absolute best. Their crew, dive masters, boat captains, everyone there is fantastic! Just got back from my latest trip to Key West, Mason was my dive master & I simply cannot say enough wonderful things about him! Boat Captain Mike was incredible! I literally don't have enough words to give them the high praise they deserve. Take my advise & dive with Finz whenever you're in Key West!

We booked Finz Dive Center for 6 dives over 3 days and they were amazing. We did reef and wreck dives from 30 to 100 ft and the crew was outstanding. Safety was very important to them which we really appreciated. We had plenty of room on the boat which was so much better than being packed in like sardines like we've experienced on larger charter boats. 5 STARS!

Went on a Dry Tortugas trip. Mike was our captain and Mason was our dive master. Was a truly amazing trip. Both gentlemen were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Mason showed us around Fort Jefferson and Loggerhead Key as well as snorkeling with us. I would highly recommend any excursion with these two gentlemen.

Enjoyed a fantastic combo dive with Finz while in KW. Ashley was awesome pointing out interesting life while on both the wreck and the reef. Both her and the captain did an amazing job with all briefings, gear setup and hospitality. Ashley even took pics of each diver and sent them out! What great customer service!!! Highly recommend FINZ if you plan to dive in Key West!!
