This company is willfully dishonest. Last December I made an appointment for a Covid test, after entering my insurance I was told the appointment would be 100% covered. When I arrived I was charged $75. I paid it. Since then I have received 3 bills for an additional $75. I have called each time and have been told it was a mistake. Today I received a collection notice. How many elderly people are they doing this to? Don’t trust them.

Services (COVID testing) received back in 11/2020 were timely and satisfactory; however, the overpayment of $325 that I have yet to get a refund for - despite the past 6 months of 'resolved' tickets from their billing center that says we're mailing an expedited check (which NEVER comes and no tracking will be provided) - I am beyond frustrated. I'd like to report this organization to the authorities for the violation of No Surprise Billing, as well as withholding account credit from patient.

I made an appointment online, showed on time and checked in. Nobody was at the front desk. A few minutes later, a lady walked out and asked if I had been helped and if I had an appointment. Sat down at the computer with another female and asked my name. Quietly said, I wouldn't have taken this last appointment . Then asks me what was wrong....before I could even get out symptoms and issues, she tells me she's not equipped to see me and go to the ER. I thanked them and got up to leave, not 1 person said another word as I exited. Maybe if they would hav answered when I called, I wouldn't have wasted my time just to be told to go to the ER.

Was told one thing completely different from what was said to me in the office in the paperwork sent home to us about what my son had wrong with him. Very concerning. And whole neighborhood agreed. Dr said nothing wrong with the hand and to use his hand that's causing him Immense pain and cannot move as is/ wants and is now crying in pain. Who says that to a kid on the spectrum which DR forknew. Had no clue what HEDS/HSD Ehlers-danlos syndrome type lll is and tested my son for vascular Ehlers-danlos not understanding what it is and just assuming. I'm getting really concerned with the way the medical industry at this point is going. Nurse Practitioners, no real doctors, training on basic things having to send everyone to specialist and nothing gets connected nobody looks at the body as a whole is like going back to the Ice ages. My childhood family Dr could glance and see most problems without testing, would run test later to confirm it. Highly suggest Doctor's, and nurses read a few books on different types of Ehlers-danlos syndrome. Hope you all will gain a love for knowledge and medical scientific research and Hypothesis because that's where great medical knowledge comes from. Researching yourselves in your free time. Because you care and love knowledge. Knowledge is powerful and you obviously can handle learning you did go to medical school. Learning in the medical field never ends.

Worst urgent care I’ve ever visited. Came in with my daughter to get a prescription for an inhaler refill. They refused to see us and told us to go to the ER, even though my daughter was not in distress. The ER doctor questioned why we came there and even called the urgent care to complain. I believe the staff at this urgent care just wants to collect a pay check without doing any work. It was close to lunch break and I think she didn’t want to see anyone else. It ended up costing me $200 more in copay than it should have. All because of laziness on urgent care staff. Will never be back and will definitely tell others to find a different urgent care.

Beware if you have a high deductible plan, DO NOT PRESENT YOUR INSURANCE CARD. A basic office visit WITHOUT insurance is charged at $120.00 I presented insurance and was charged $327.00. My high deductible plan paid $51, leaving me with a balance of $276!!!!!! Had I known this, I would have been self-pay. No one in billing would adjust this so I'm stuck paying $156 more than I would WITHOUT insurance. I feel duped and scammed. Lesson learned.

Came to this location looking for assistance with a back injury. Came in and explained our issue and was told from the staff that they would be able to assist. Ultimately, we were offered Ibuprofen and to follow up with our PCP for physical therapy. We received no help and a $200 bill AFTER insurance.

Visited 2/23/23 to Wentzville location- My daughter had left ear pain. The nurse practitioner that saw us was literally in our room no more than 3 minutes. Did not give any time or concern. Looked at her ears. Did not look at her throat, nose, or listen to breathing or heart at all. Blood pressure not taken. I didn't even have time to tell her about her last ear infection and antibiotic prescribed. Will NOT return.

Arriving at 7:40 pm, with 2 cars in the parking lot, we were greeted with a "we close in 20 minutes " welcome👎! Since there was NO waiting,as in ZERO, we went immediately into a room. We did an about face and walked out. We took our business elsewhere and we were taken care of quickly. The attitude at businesses must change. I will not conduct business with snutey people. It's MY money YOU want. If you want it, respect me and if you are in the health field then act with compassion.

If I could I would give them zero stars. This is the second time I have gone to them and it’s the second time that they have charged me for a copay at the office. Then one or two months later they have charged me again. Last time they blamed it on my insurance and charged me for my copay and everything my insurance would have covered. I confronted my insurance which stated they are in network but they filed the visit wrong. I am sure this time it’s the same thing. I would keep an eye on your bills coming from this urgent care they seem to double charge and over charge a month or 2 later after your visit. They try to blame it on the insurance company but last time it was on them. Looks like I am going to have to be one the phone all week with the insurance company and them to get this one cleared up too. I would save the time and effort and go to Total Access Urgent Care. I have not had any problems with the way they bill. Thanks for responding. I have reached out to the billing department already and they are claiming they did not charge me again. This was different from last time you overcharged me which happened because you did not file the claim right with my insurance. This time the billing department is just straight up saying they did not charge me a second time. I let them know with a photo of my statement showing that they did in fact charged me a second time. I sure I will be going back and forth for the next month trying to resolve this issue.

Was billed even tho my son has insurance and was provided prior to appointment. Prescribe my son the worst tasting antibiotic I've ever tasted. Tried to half the does and drown in with apple juice and it was awful so I tried to quarter the dose and still was god awful. It tasted like gasoline. There is no way any child would ever take that. My son is also autistic btw. We asked for a new antibiotic for this reason. The provider put in a new order and the pharmacy was out. The pharmacist contacted urgent care twice to ask what antibiotics they would like them to use sense they were out. Urgent care never responded and whenever I called to ask them to respond they gave attitude and ask why I haven't picked up his antibiotics after several days as if I was neglecting my child. I told them they needed to respond to cvs. Which they ensured me they would do. They never did. I ended up having to take my son to another urgent care where they immediately sent my son to the ER. Thanks 👍

The nurse who saw me was great. My problem is with their dishonest billing practices. They insisted that I pay $75 up front for a COVID test on 12/30/21. They told me due to “special protocol” they would not be billing my insurance. This seemed odd to me at the time, but I was in a bind and COVID tests were hard to find at the time. Later I found out that there was a government regulation recently enacted (prior to this visit) that insurance companies should cover COVID testing 100%. I called the billing office here and they told me they sent the bill to my insurance. I later got a statement that the visit was covered in full by my insurance. Yet, I still have not received reimbursement for the $75 they made me pay even though my insurance covered everything. They basically made double the money off me. I’ve called their billing office at least 6 times since March only to be put on long holds and be told each time that they are “escalating” this, and I should receive my refund in a week. It’s June, and I have never gotten a refund.

They didn't want to take an X-ray of my son's broken leg. They have no respect for the parents. Just horrible. SCAM BILLING - STILL OWNED A REFUND BEEN 6 MONTHS. EVERYTIME I CALL THEY SAY IT IS IN THE MAIL. THEY ARE SCAMMING. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR HEALTH.

So, initially I thought it was just Mercy Pediatrics out here that was bad - but I was proven wrong. We've now removed my family entirely from the Mercy Network due to these events. We took our daughter to urgent care to be seen, after she was refused at the pediatric office due to someone erroneously setting her up for a new patient visit on the wrong day (when we weren't even in this state). They asked for our insurance up front, which I provided. The front desk woman demanded a card for payment - which you do not have to do (in fact, DONT - because I did before and they double charged me and it took over a month to get my refund) so when I declined setting up this auto pay service she had an attitude about it. Then apparently she decided not to run our insurance, so I had to call today and redo everything with an agent and its going to be up to 45 days before its resolved. Just steer clear of these people if you want things done right. They're a corporation - not a healthcare community.

Had a great experience taking my son here (he had strep throat) after attempting a second (and last) visit at SSM Express Clinic. The lobby is big and clean. Front office staff and medical professionals were friendly and attentive. The whole visit start to finish was very quick. Couldn't ask for better, especially when you have a little one not feeling well.

Emily, the receptionist, was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make sure my kids got in to be seen today. The nurse that took their vitals was great as was Dr.Woods. This was by far the best experience my family has ever had at an urgent care facility. The staff was very attentive, caring and helpful and this will be our go to urgent care location from here on out.

I've been going to this location with my children, they have always done wonderful, yesterday I received a negative test, they told me in 3-5 days they could give me meds after it was sent out. UNBELIEVABLE not caring to listen this time, disappointed in new staff. Went to a different place and tested for 3 things, found out in 30 min not 3-5 days.

I think it's crazy when you come to urgent care and need their help! Its your body you know what's going on but without any testing they say we don't think it's that and without any facts they send you off with no prevail from the medicine they said would work!! Thanks alot for absolutely a waste of my time!!!

Total Dishonesty!! I went in for a Covid Test. I was told they do not take my insurance, but if i wanted a test still it would cost me $70.00. I agreed to the $70 and got tested. I am still getting bills for $288 saying it is the fee for the office visit.I have called billing and the first time was told that it was wrong and to pay the $70 which i did. I just got off the phone will billing again today. They said there is nothing they can do and i still owe the $288. I feel they took advantage of the demand for testing during Covid. I would not use this Urgent Care, Mercy should be ashamed.

Had to take my son to see a doctor for asthma symptoms. The facility was very clean. Everyone was very nice and very helpful. Then were efficient and took care of business quickly! Definitely a great place to utilize if you need great care, quickly. Also I used the online check in that was very helpful!

I was able to schedule an appointment online which was super convenient. I was taken back to a room as soon as I walked in the door. They were fast, efficient, very informative and so friendly. They had an X-ray machine on site which was also convenient compared to other places where I had to go to another location for X-ray imaging. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this urgent care.

by far the worst experience i have had at an urgent care, i was talked to as if i was a burden being the only patient in there and when i told them i have a simple headache they sent me to the hospital to spend thousands of dollars when all i needed was a doctors note for missing work. they also refused to give me a covid test when i have been exposed. all they had to say to me is that i’m pregnant when i know i am not due to personal reasons.

The assistant working the front desk today named Juan was not helpful and very condescending. I honestly don't know how he has managed to be employed this long with his attitude. Would NOT recommend this location to anyone.
