Nordic Trac and iFit cheated me Over the last 4 years I have purchased 4 different Nordictrack exercise machines. Each one was to have 1 year iFit included. In the last 9 months I have purchased a 900 rower and a fusion cst. Both came with a card for 1 year of iFit membership. However when I entered the codes, the rower’s in January and the fusions in February, I was not given the 12 months for either one. I contacted both iFit and Nordic Trac and have not received a response. I have spent over $10,000.00 based on their advertising and am now extremely upset. My current iFit membership expires soon and they want $400.00 for a year. I believe they are taking advantage of buyers and especially seniors such as myself. Do not buy anything from Nordic Track! Amazing I actually got a response, so here is mine. iFit’s response does not address my complaint. I am fuller aware I could buy memberships from iFit. If time was taken to actually review my account, they would see I have purchased a membership in the past. This is not the complaint. The complaint relates to the fact I have purchased 2 new pieces of equipment that came with 1 year membership included in each and did not get them when I entered the codes on their site. Stating that I do not need to buy new equipment for a membership implies ignorance on my part rather than their attempt to remedy the situation. So once again strengthens my belief that you should not buy anything from them or Nordic Track. Since they are in fact the same company, it applies to both names.

Order number: 2277675. On July 7, 2022, I bought a treadmill for $2,285 from this company. I also ordered an installation. On July 14, the machine was delivered to my house. During the installation process, I saw that many parts were damaged and the monitor was not working. I have recorded the information about this in the installers' paperwork. After that, my wife sent an email to the support service with a proposal to repair the machine or replace it. After that, we tried to call the support service, but they never answer. After a while, I found a refund on my card, but the amount was less than the one I paid by about $ 500. Then my wife received an email saying that if we don't return the machine, the company will transfer our case to collectors. In that email, the phone number was indicated to which we immediately received a response. They offered me to pay the amount they returned to me again and they promised to repair the machine, I agreed. After a while, a specialist came, looked at the machine and said that he needed to order parts to make repairs, I agreed. After a while, my wife received an email from the company in which it was written that we store the machine on the wrong place😁 and this is not a warranty case. Are you guys out of your mind??? You delivered me a damaged machine that hasn't worked since first day. Today is October 21, 2022. I haven't been able to use the machine you sold me for 3 months ago. At the same time, you are using my money for free. I will not leave this case just like that, I will contact an attorney and all possible institutions. You are violating consumer law by your actions. I want to warn your other customers. Disgusting service!!!

Last February my wife and I decided to order the Pro form elliptical E14 ($1,999) with the protection plan($400). We received the delivery in March. Upon assembly, we realized a defected part on. We called, and spoke to a Cade (whom was helpful) and ordered a new part. After 3 weeks waiting we received the part and a technician came and fixed it. We were excited to now be able to workout in our own home with our very first piece of gym equipment. My wife plugs in the machine and then we heard a "POP". The console shorts out. So now we call again and told that they need to order a new console. I received an email with a order status and after 3 more weeks the status said "processing". I called and spoke to a women, she said "you should receive it in May, as they are testing new consoles. May roles around, no calls, no emails, no communication from pro form. My wife calls this month (May), after getting bounced back and forth from different suppliers. We were told they have discontinued the E14 (which is strange being it was new in 2020). She tried to convince us to switch us out to a different machine (cheaper), but the weight capacity would not hold me add I am 6'6 320lbs. We have demanded a refund, and they have not yet taken any action on this matter. My wife and I are extremely upset, and now looking at other alternatives to get our money back as we are still paying for this through TD bank financing. We have a 400lbs paperweight sitting at our house that is an eyesore. If anyone reads this, buyer beware, it maybe more stress than you think. I will be posting this on review sites as well

I've been attempting to work with iFit support to get my warranty bike fixed since August 2022(as I write in January 2023). Support is the worst I have ever experienced in my life. Response times have been absolutely terrible, and responses I have received DO NOT resolve the problems I have had with my bike. If you want support for a bicycle trainer avoid iFit products. They're team is useless. It initially started with my bicycle crashing, restarting and failing to re-initiate rides. After multiple hours on the phone and emails with many different support representatives, they sent me a new monitor. Upon receiving the new monitor, it didn't boot up at all. Many hours multiple calls on the phone later, new but incorrect wiring harnesses were sent to us. After that, they have refused to respond to communications to warranty their products. Overall experience has been one of utter frustration and anger. Buy a magnetic or other bicycle trainer and create your own training plan. Save yourself thousands of dollars and hours/weeks/months of frustration. Avoid iFit.

Be CAREFUL before buying from this company. My elliptical arrived in poor packaging, was missing pieces, and contained broken pieces. It took about seven weeks to receive the correct and complete parts, including being ignored by Support for about a week and a half, then a new Support person, multiple parts shipments, with the end result being dropped again when I questioned the warranty. I initiated a return, after which I may well be in the process of being ignored AGAIN since I'm going on 96 hours of a 24-48-hour promise of contact (not including the weekend). It's early to say, but iFit may be attempting to ride out the warranty period and claim I ran over the time. We'll see what happens, but I can tell you NEVER again will I or my family trust this company.

You can't even control your own settings on your equipment, it's ridiculous to be locked out of my own settings. I bought it, I own it, I should be able to make my own adjustments, i.e. if it beeps in the early morning or how bright the screen is, etc. These are basic functions and as an owner I would like access to them without having to get permission from customer service. Sure you can lock the safety settings, but all of them? Come on iFit, stop trying to upsell so much and actually listen to the customer.

Same as everyone else's reviews. DO NOT BUY. I have the Bike it worked for a total of 3 months before I had issues. The bike does not incline or decline. I had tried for a year to diagnose the issue only to have it not get fixed. I attempted to put in several service requests with no answer. Finally I was able to get a response. They stated I did not register the bike. I logged in and verified I had registered the bike. As the bike was outside of the year warranty I understood I would need to pay to have it fixed. I was asked several times to send information I had already sent. Once they finally registered the bike. I was told it was out of warranty, I would need to purchase a service warranty and request service. I looked into purchasing a service warranty and I would need to go through the whole process again. This is apparently a common issue with the bikes. Their service is impossible to get help. If you wish to chance the purchase I wish you luck.

I am completely appalled and devastated by the lack of care and compassion that I have received from this company. I purchased an $1800 NordicTrack treadmill with IFit less than 2 years ago. About a month ago, the main console stopped working suddenly. I called and emailed ifit support more than a dozen times. One of the not very helpful associates advised me to stick a paper clip IN to the IPAD console, even after I asked repeatedly, are you sure you mean the hole IN the iPad?! The bottom line is that I was told that the barely used main console needed replacing at a cost of over $600. Now I have an $1800 machine in my basement that looks as new as what you would get if you ordered online today—-perfect, pristine condition and it’s useless. If I had known that I was purchasing a SCAM, I would have run the other way but I wrongly assumed that NordicTrack was still a good company. The point is: The treadmill itself is perfect but I CANNOT USE IT because of its low rent-scam-Ifit console. Buyer Beware. I reached out to multiple people to try to resolve this issue and have heard CRICKETS 🦗.

Buyer beware, seriously look elsewhere. Pathetic company with awful customer service. We have a Nordictrack elliptical that was delivered with two broken parts, after 2-3 attempts with customer service this was fixed so pretty good experience. However, I rolled the dice and bought rower from them in August 2021. It was delivered and assembled by their team but would not power on consistently. 9 months later and multiple attempts with customer service, multiple new parts and wire sets, a whole new console and the rower is completely broken. Best of all, because I chose to work with the to troubleshoot I am outside of the range for a refund (convenient) and all I can do is continue to replace parts while the warranty runs down (hmmm). Customer service is good for an apology but nothing else. Seriously, look elsewhere. (In response to iFIT's response below) Thank you for helping to demonstrate that you all are good for an apology and not much else by providing the same generic member support email and member support phone number that I have been contacting for the last 9 months. Latest response from them after writing another long paragraph explaining the situation and trying to get a resolution “thank you for providing that feedback. Please do let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.”

I recently purchased a replacement treadmill belt for my NordicTrack, however it turned out we didn’t need it as we’d just be replacing the entire treadmill instead. I sent it back but have still not received a refund over a month later. I have reached out to the company multiple times and opened multiple case numbers on their website to find out the status but have received no response. I will make it a point to buy a new treadmill that does NOT use iFIT technology, as this is simply the worst customer service.

Spent $3300 on a commercial Nordictrack treadmill. Used for a year. They sent a forced software update which crashed the machine making it completely unusable. It has been 4 months and the console is still on back order and they can't even gove an approximate date as to when the part will be here. Complete throwaway machine now. Will never consider anything from this group of companies. Let alone the fact I paid for a full membership in March of 2022...machine crashes in December and they completely ignore my requests fir a refund on the 4 months that I can't use the machine. Unbelievable.

Don’t bother with any product from this company. Bought a new treadmill and once all assembled it didn’t work. Called customer support and they are useless. They will not send anybody out to repair brand new treadmill. They just want to diagnose it over the phone. Had a broken treadmill for two months. They said they would sent the part to fix it. Once part arrived after two weeks it was the wrong part. Of course I’m past the 30 day return but that probably why they wouldn’t over night the parts. Go buy a peloton instead! Much better customer service. I was able to fix the NEW treadmill no thanks to Nordic track. I will not be recommending any of their products EVER! I will actually recommend peloton from how my friends have talked about their customer service. UPDATE WHAT A GARBAGE RESPONSE FROM YOU NOTIC TRACK! THIS DOESN’T MEET A SERVICE STANDARD FOR A MAINTENANCE REPAIR?? 2400 DOLLARS FOR A TREADMILL THAT DIDN'T WORK OUT OF THE BOX? YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THE RIGHT THING AND SENT SOMEONE OUT RIGHT AWAY TO FIX IT. AGAIN ADVICE TO ANYONE DONT BOTHER WITH ANY PRODUCT FROM NORTIC TRACK. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR WANT TO HELP A CUSTOMER THAT PURCHASE A PRODUCT FROM THEM.

I bought this adjustable weight bench from iFit Health & Fitness and it definitely lives up to the hype. The assembly directions were well written and easy to follow making putting it together a breeze. The angled back adjustments are prefect for being able to target different muscle groups making the workout much more effective. It’s a very functional product and extremely comfortable to lay on for extended workouts. I am very pleased with this product and plan to add more iFit equipment to my home gym! I was given this product at a reduced price in exchange for my honest opinion.

I bought a pro-form bike that I paid $1500 at Canadian Tire in December 2020. In March 2022 it stopped working completely as the screen would not turn on. I spoke with Ifit support and the lady was pretty helpful, she told me that as the warranty just expired they would cover the replacement parts but I would have to pay for the cost of the technician. First they sent me an AC cable but this did not solve the issue. Then I waited over a month to find out about the next steps.. They finally referred me to a technician in my town, I paid $140 for the estimate. The technician checked with Ifit and was advised that the console would have to be replaced for $950 + $140 for shipping. When I called Ifit back to discussed their previous agreement to cover the parts they said that it was a one-time-deal and since it's been more than a month now I would have to pay for it. So basically just 2 years after buying a $1500 spin bike I would have to spend another $1500 to get it repaired! This bike is now garbage because there is no way I'm putting more money into this P.O.S. I will never buy one of the products again and I discourage everyone to buy one. I should have bought the Bowflex instead, same price and a company you can trust the quality of their products and services.

I bought the ProForm Cycle Trainer 400 Ri Stationary Exercise Bike, Compatible with iFIT Personal Training on March 31th, 2023. I went to use the bike today and it would not turn on. I tried unplugging and replugging, made sure the outlet was still working, checked the wires and it just won't work. I called support and they wanted me to spend the same amount I spent on the bike to begin with to have someone come look at it. Crazy, especially since I just got the bike less than 4 months ago but because the 90 factory warranty literally just ran out, no one will help me. I tried emailing as well and they are all giving me the same answer. Absolutely no help what so ever!!!! Now, less than 4 months later all I have is a bike that won't turn on, very disappointing!!!!

iFit used to offer an incredible experience with live classes, abundant new content, live races, and even rewarded us with medals for completing these races. However, they have since removed these features. The rower, in particular, has lacked an outdoor series for several months, possibly even years. Despite their claims of focusing on outdoor material, there has been no improvement for rowing enthusiasts. The disappearance of live races for the treadmill and the lack of communication from iFit have left users in the dark. Additionally, they have removed valuable features from the website without explanation. Despite promises of exciting updates, the service has steadily declined since 2020. I am disappointed to say that I won't be renewing my membership, especially since I'll miss my favorite trainers.

Not the best quality! Less than 2 years I called for the manufacture warranty first the representative after seiing the photos .he started to process the claim than 2 minutes later he said the warranty department saying this not part of the frame.. just shame for a big company like Ifit to business that way..

I love the workouts and the equipment, but am totally disappointed with the customer service! iFIT offered milestone rewards through 2022 and asked users to claim their 2022 rewards by February 15, 2023. I responded on February 9 to claim the prizes I had earned. Just today, nearly SIX weeks later did I receive a response. The email response stated, in grammatically incorrect and misspelled English, that the promotion had ended and the company would not be able to deliver my milestone rewards. I just got off a 44-minute phone call with customer service, who transferred me four times and could not tell me why it took a month and a half to respond to a customer and why they could not deliver what I had earned. I stated that I intended to write a letter to iFIT headquarters about my experienceand the representative refused to provide any other way to contact the company. Ridiculous customer service, and this is a very minor issue compared with the other complaints I read written in this space. If they can't deliver a t-shirt as promised, it's no wonder they cannot fulfill more pressing and important requests such as those other customers are facing. I recommend iFIT because of the wonderful workouts and experiences but I will do so no longer since I do not want my friends and family members to have to endure similar experiences.

Bought a treadmill from their Ogden store and the monitor quit working within 6 months. I still haven't figured out the cheat code to get actual help on their hotline. Can't find a replacement monitor online and don't want to invest significantly in this cheap treadmill. Buy from another brand.

Bought a brand new 2950 top of the line commercial treadmill 14 months ago. I am running at a speed on 10 last week and it abruptly stops and I almost fly off. Extremely dangerous. Come to find out it does this every 10 seconds when trying to run faster than 10 mph. This is their top of the line best 2950 treadmill we spent $3000 that is nearly brand new. Message them and they say it will cost $250 to have a tech come out and that they will CONTACT me in 5 business days but have no idea once they contact me what the timeline is. For a $3000 commercial treadmill meant to be in a gym to break with a 115 pound female running on it maybe 3 x a week for a year- tells your about the quality of their products. Not only to mention the danger of a treadmill abruptly stopping at high speeds unexpectedly. Looks like it is a manufacturer defect upon installation with the controller board from all the reddit threads online everyone is having this issue at higher speeds- but they still want to charge me for parts and service, UP FRONT with 0 estimation of timeline. Looks like other reviews on this page literally have the same issue with the controller board. DO NOT BUY IFIT PRODUCTS.

Never, ever go anywhere near this company. I bought a set of dumbells 3 years ago. A few months ago, I started getting charged $40 a month. I reached out, and apparently I had signed up for some membership. I canceled and asked for a refund. They declined to offer me a refund. Shameless greed and thievery.

Wish I could give a 0 star. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY OR WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. I used to work for this company and bought a treadmill from them. The treadmill malfunctioned while it was under the warranty but they refused to fix it because there wasn't a "tech" in my area available. They are laying off a ton of their employees indefinitely with no prior notice, all around it is the WORST company to do any business or have any association with.

Do not buy a Nordictrac or purchase an ifit membership. They do not send you an email receipt stating that that they are charging your card for the membership. We returned our machine, because it does not work as well as an elliptical at a gym. But they had no problem charging our account without ever letting us know they were still charging it. This company is corrupt and the people who own it.

  • 1/5 Taryn N. 1 year ago on Google
If I could give zero stars I would. This company is terrible. No one even works there, it seems. I’ve posted my whole story so many times on various platforms to include BBB, and have gotten NO WHERE! Bottom line is, I was delivered a damaged treadmill in November 2022. Similar to another recent review, a part was supposedly ordered and I can’t get resolution now. I’m paying on my $2k plus account for NOTHING. LIVID!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!

  • 5/5 Bryan C. 2 years ago on Google
I’ve had great experiences with this company. They do a good job of communicating with you so that you know exactly what to expect after you purchase something, when it will ship, and it when it should arrive. All products arrived in good condition (I’ve got an exercise bike and weight set) and everything is working just how I’d hoped. Full disclosure: I’ve previously received a free product from the company for my honest opinion. If you’re looking for reliable and sturdy fitness equipment, I’d definitely recommend iFIT. It’s been perfect for my home gym.
