πŸ‘πŸ‘ This is such an amazing family run, locally owned distillery in SW Florida! I go in for a tour/tasting every time I visit the area. It is a must-do activity if you're in Punta Gorda! The rum is some of the best I've ever had...and it's gotten better and better since they've opened. Alex, the Mas... My best friend I was taking a road trip to Tampa and stopped on the way to a very beautiful town call Punta Gorda. We wanted to find out little bit more about the town and came across a Alligator Bay Distillers. Alex was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and professional. We had a great time and the drinks are so yummy. We appreciate the experience and we will come back real soon. I live in New York and my best friend lives in Florida. Thank you so much again! Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at Alligator Bay Distillery. Bengamin one of the owners gave us an exclusive tour while his brother was doing some testing on their product. We highly recommend taking the tour and sampling the rums. We bought a few bottles along with tees. A great take for anyone in the area visiting or living. Support your local businesses. Also for those who can't come and sample reach for a bottle at total wine in the Rum section. You will not be disappointed. πŸ‘

Did a tour and tasting here and it was a wonderful experience! The owners (brothers) were very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our rum questions while showing us the facility. We then tasted each of their rums & tried a pina colada in the front room. Happy to take some bottles home. Would recommend a stop by for anyone looking to buy a local rum or do the tour.

This place is a hidden gem! The brothers that own it were both so nice and helpful. The rum tastes great, and the mixed drinks unique and delicious. They do tours nearly every hour, have a nice outdoor area, games to play if you'd rather be in AC, and a puppers who will happily greet everyone that comes in. If I could give this place 20/10, I would.

We had a great time at Alligator Bay. It was one of the places I wanted to visit while visiting family in the Punta Gorda area. The guys there are very knowledgeable and took time to answer any questions that we had. The tasting was great as well, it was nice to sample the different Rums before buying any. I would recommend making a trip to see them. I bought the Dark Rum and love the taste.

We love trying local places and Alligator Bay Distillers did not disappoint! Who doesn’t love local family owned and operated small batch rum?! The free tour was very informative! We loved the free samples at the end that were paired with juice if you wanted to mix it or chase it with! Such a great local place! We will be back for more rum soon!

Great experience. Highly recommend! Ben gave a great tour. He was very informative. Bought a bottle of the dark rum. Will be coming back next time we are in town to buy more. Hopefully some of the stuff aging in the barrels will be ready then :)

Ngl, from the parking lot, this place is super underwhelming. Don't let looks deceive you! Head in there and talk to Alex! These two brothers are so passionate about their rum and what they do that I want to support them in any way I can! Plus, the rum is fantastic! I'm not a fan of white rum personally, but their dark, Golden, and spiced rums all knocked it out of the park! They even make the golden rum with local honey. I won't give away all of the secrets, you'll have to take the tour for that! Well worth the tour, visit, and to purchase a case or two for gifts and personal stock! Everything here is made local to Florida and you'll hear the passion they have in their craft the minute you ask a question in the tour. Please do! They really do know their stuff and didn't just "YouTube" it like you'll see in a lot of other different distillers.

We went to Alligator Bay today. Alex is very nice and explained the distilling process, then we tasted the rums. Bought the spiced rum which we both liked the best. Nice visit, low key, informative, and they have a cute pooch too!

Clean, well maintained small business operation. Alex was a great tour guide and it was very interesting to hear about the distillation process. We finished my solo tour in about 20-25 mins. Alex was knowledgeable and friendly. Two samples are provided at the end of the tour, choice of 4 options. The ice maker was broken today so no drinks could be made from their extensive menu, but it was a good, fairly short tour experience. Kolohe the official greeter dog was adorable! Delicious products!

Run don’t walk this place is amazing! Was looking for something to do in punta gorda and wound up booking a tour. The rum is delicious. Alex and his brother are really passionate about their rum and it shows.Really unique flavor profiles particularly in their dark and spiced rum but don’t take my word go try it for yourself!

Awesome tour! Alex showed us around and told us how they make their run. At the end of the tour, we had a sample of the spiced rum, which was especially delicious. They have a fun bar and outside patio, which were both perfect! We can’t wait to go back.

We had a lot of fun at the Alligator Bay Distillery tour and tasting. We have been to a few different rum distillery tours but Alligator Bay's tour was so much more informative. The owner who lead our tour was fun and answered all our questions. The rum was great; our favorite is the dark rum--yum! We purchased a cocktail to enjoy after the tour and tasting and it was equally yummy. There were several cocktails to choose from. We will be going back to buy another bottle of rum and enjoy another cocktail!

We had a fun afternoon at Alligator Bay. Benjamin was a great guide and they make a high quality rum. He spent time answering all our questions and mixed some really enjoyable cocktails. Kolohe was a sweet "guard" dog as well. We'll be enjoying a taste of Florida when we get away from the heat in Minnesota. Thanks for everything

My wife and I truly enjoyed the tour with Benjamin. We learned a lot about the process, and love the taste of their different runs. Ended up buying a few bottles. I highly recommend this tour. Erik

Nice people, small operation with owners on site doing everything. They gave us a personal tour and explanation of distillation process along with sampling. They offer craft cocktails as well (highly recommend coconut mojito). We ended up taking a bottle home too πŸ˜ƒ We’ve been to many breweries and distilleries, this was our first rum distillery. Rum is good!

We went on a tour and then a rum tasting. The owner was so inviting and warm. Highly recommend if you are in the area! It’s always good to support local businesses. πŸ˜€

We took the Alligator Bay Distillers tour with Alex and was treated to a great hour of Rum making and all that goes with it. And then to top it off tasted some great Rum made by Alex. The tour, the samples and Alex were great! See ya soon.

Went to take a tour, and had a great time! The rum is delicious and everything is made right there. After the tour Alex (one of the two distillers/owners) gave us tastings and answered all of my questions (I’m in the field so there were lots!) overall had a great time and I definitely recommend!!

This is such an amazing family run, locally owned distillery in SW Florida! I go in for a tour/tasting every time I visit the area. It is a must-do activity if you're in Punta Gorda! The rum is some of the best I've ever had...and it's gotten better and better since they've opened. Alex, the Master Distiller, is so passionate about his work, and it definitely shows in the product - he explains the whole process of making the Rum on their tour! He also explained that they use all organic and natural products when making the rum, and that also shows - definitely a huge difference between the big chain rum makers - this is the definition of small batch, carefully crafted, great tasting Rum! They offer FREE tours and tastings Mon-Sat, and are starting to do more events, with cocktail classes, etc. It is such a fun little outing for groups or couples. My favorites are the classic white rum (mixes well with anything), the dark rum that just won a gold medal in a local competition, and the spiced rum around the Holidays. Honestly everything they make is awesome! If you're in the area, you have to go check this place out...you won't regret it! Support local :)!

We have out of state guests in town. Booked a tour for Monday at 3. Received a verification email for our reservation. Arrived at Alligator Bay to learn that all tours were cancelled for the day. We did not receive any notification for cancellation. We asked if we could still taste samples? Advised not without a tour. No offer to purchase a drink. We had driven 30 minutes for this outing.
