The Agora Borealis is one of the most special galleries in Shreveport. They support local artists and the local art community. Going here is a great experience and I love to look at all the creative works that are offered there.

Who knew Shreveport has a vibrant art scene? This place is full of little treasures, and interesting people and stories that come with each of the pieces.

Antique and glass studio. If I knew that I could make my own christmas ball I would have come here one day early since it takes 12 hours to cool down. But I bought an beautiful one. Super nice that all earned money goes to charity! 🤩

I love love love this place. It’s so much more than a store! I walked in 5 years ago to find a hat for Derby Day and walked out with a new friend - Katy Larsen! They have the most unique gifts from incredible makers and it’s never the same when you visit the next time! Always fun, new inventory and the best part is the customized wish list you can leave for friends and family! If you are having trouble shopping for someone, you just walk in and let yourself be curated by Katy or one of the amazing staff members. Five stars, always! They also host incredible events! Agora truly is part of the heart of this city!

Beautifully curated shop with everything from original artwork in a range of sizes, pottery, jewelry and bespoke gifts. I always have to stop here when I’m in Shreveport! The perfect local business to support that gives back to the diverse community of makers and artists!

Nice collection of handmade items. They also have a glass blowing area & allow customers to participate (if your buying the piece they're making). Class wasn't in session when we visited but we were allowed to go in and see what they've made. Nice place overall.

Terrific shop featuring local artists’ works, uniquely special jewelry, and some fun books, too…the perfect place to find extraordinary gifts; and the staff are gracious and so helpful! There are always new creations to make shopping fun!

I stopped by yesterday to check out one of their Artist Studios. The artist, Adam, was there crafting his jewelry. I bought pieces, one for myself and one that is a gift. It was awesome being able to buy directly from the artist.

If you’ve never been, you’re missing out. This is the largest art collective in our area and houses so much amazing work — and it’s all for sale! They carry furniture, art, soaps, candles — everything local and handmade. It’s the one stop shop for local goods in Shreveport/Bossier.

Really amazing venue. I was stuck on the phone with a customer when my wife and I explored it this weekend. There are all types of neat gift or home items found here. Hand carved wooden chairs/benches to really unique paintings. I found a few t-shirts and cards that where great for me to wrap up some of my Christmas shopping. Support Local and go here.

This store is amazing! It is never the same experience twice. Every time, there are new and exciting local artists to discover. As an artist myself, I so appreciate this store that dedicates itself to promoting the arts community and the community in general.

I have known and worked with the Agora Borealis on several projects and shopped occasionally as a patron for years. The Agora Borealis is a unique all encompassing experience with access to some of the best artisans Shreveport has to offer. If you’re searching for a gift you’re unlikely to find anywhere else I would highly recommend visiting.
