COM was the first college I attended. If I can offer a young person who may have some financial challenges some advice it would be to attend a community college first. COM has some great certificate and degree plans especially their nursing and chemical processing. A lot of times you may be able to get a scholarship or grant. Please don't take out a lot of student loans like I did unless you really need to do so. For some people just needing to relax, go walk the track and check out the ducks! It's a fun way to take your mind off things, get some exercise & fresh air and won't cost you a dime.

I love this place. Starting over was hard enough but the staff here made everything easy. Unfortunately I may be transferring to ACC next semester because they still recognize ITT Tech credits. Would give 5 stars if COM did too.

I take night classes. They have great parking, security presence, lighting, and a gorgeous campus. Engaging teachers, modern classes, and easy to understand sign up.

the ongoing educaiton programs here are great. they helped me move forward in my career. it wasn't expensive and they ewre flexible and helpful with guiding me as a non-traditional student returning after years away from a formal educational setting it was a great decision for me

Took a lot of classes at College of the Mainland through the beginning of my college career. They have some good basic and introduction classes, and have a lot of certifications you can earn. They work with high school students in collegiate program, which allows high school students to take intro level college classes. I would definitely recommend doing this if you are a high school student. This will give you a big advantage coming out of high school, and allows you to possibly graduate high school with an associate’s degree.

The staff are all friendly. The Student Life department is Amazing. The campus is spacious and the bookstore and employees are second to none!! Go Duck!! #ProtectTheeFlock

I got my associates degree here. Staff and professors are super helpful. If you work hard you will succeed!

Wow. The new additions to the college and the whole ambience of the college and staff are amazing! I'm proud to be a 2011 graduate from COM!

This is the Best Junior College in the World. I went here for two years. I had a student job at the Library while I attended C.O.M. All my bosses at the Library are people of Character. Tillie Henson is the Greatest boss. If you attend this College you can transfer to a four year University. You can get a "good job." You can make a lot of money. You can live wherever you want. My Parents paid for my tuition. You can get a scholarship if you choose. There are people who can help you get them who work at C.O.M.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The campus is beautiful and I can't wait to start classes!
