Chris showed outstanding leadership throughout the intervention process. He was well organized and had our families best interest in mind through the whole process. I was totally impressed with how he handled himself during the intervention meeting. Emotions were running high and he skillfully navigated the meeting. He knew when to let people talk and when to intervene. I would highly recommend Chris to any family who needs help. We are very grateful to him for all that he did.

Phenomenal! Chris was a great guide through the entire process. He orchestrated a great game plan which we as a group executed with his help, guidance and leadership. During the intervention he also knew when we as a group would begin to lose steam and efficiently interjected with key information regarding the drug addiction information, the treatment and even his own experiences with getting help with his own previous addictions. Chris was extremely friendly, helpful, good natured, and knowledgable.

Chris at Long Island Intervention has helped our family in two occasions. Both handled differently based on the situation with plans tailored to the different individuals. He was readily available for communication and all questions and was very clear with all requests and responses. He walked our family through every step of a difficult process and was extremely knowledgeable of resources available to help us out. Through Chris and LII we were able to get loved ones on to a necessary path to recovery in the safest, most informed and most loving environment possible.

I have been battling with a loved one to try and get them to go for detox and take the first step to regain control of their life after years of abusing different substances trying to cope with their depression/anxiety. I reached out to Chris many months ago and explained my situation. He took the time to follow up with text messages/calls for days- ultimately I couldn’t get my loved one to commit to coming in and I stopped answering him- I was so upset I wasted his time. This week, FINALLY, something sparked and my loved one came to terms with the fact that they truly need help/want to get their life on track. I reached out to Chris again (I’m crying as I’m writing this) , and he took the insurance information, cleared it, gave us a plan tailored to my loved one, got them a bed for detox and even arranged for a ride if necessary all in under an hour!!!! (I was anxious the person I was bringing in would change their mind quickly) Its very clear he truly cares and worked quickly to accommodate us as best as possible in terms of location/ coming up with a plan-I was blown away. In an hour from the initial call my loved one was in the detox facility. So far everyone I spoke to at the facility has been great- they know I have very bad anxiety and I call them often to keep me updated/calm me down and they’re all so patient and compassionate with me (I can only imagine how good they are to my loved one) …This is a very stressful position to be in and has taken a toll on me physically, mentally, and emotionally but I am so glad I found Chris and I am hopeful this journey will have a positive outcome. Anyone going through something like this whether personal or you’re concerned for someone you care about- please please do yourself a favor and call LI Interventions. Please. Don’t give up.

When I called Long Island Interventions I was feeling hopeless & broken. I knew my son needed help but I had no idea how to start the process. I left my information with L.I.I. & Chris reached out soon after. He explained the intervention process step by step from participant preparation all the way through to transportation to the facility provided by L.I.I. This discussion relieved so much stress & anticipation as did many conversations that I had with Chris. My son agreed to go to treatment voluntarily so there was no longer a need for the intervention. Chris helped us find rehab in Florida. Although we decided to go another route Chris never pressured us & always remained available to guide us in the right direction. In my opinion his only goal was to help our family get the help we needed. I am eternally grateful for his honesty & guidance during this incredibly difficult time.

Chris did a great job of setting up the intervention and care plan with our brother. We were able to convince him to get help and he went into a facility. Unfortunately he left after a few days but that’s no one’s fault but his own. I would definitely recommend Chris if you are looking for someone to help you.

Chris and the LI Intervention team helped lead an intervention for a close friend of mine. Chris is very patient, an excellent listener, and very knowledgeable on the subject. Nothing more heart wrenching as a parent than finding out your child has a substance abuse issue . Hours after finding this out I reached out to Allure , the voices on the other end Mike first & then Chris helped me step by step from an intervention to traveling to dropping my child off to begin detox & treatment . Chris was the tech that picked us up from the airport , my son took a liking to him immediately as did I . Chris was reassuring , compassionate , professional most off caring . Chris helped to make my worst nightmare a little more bearable . My son is currently at Respite for 28 days after the initial detox . I would like to take a few minutes to acknowledge Chris at L I Intervention.I originally contacted him back in July when my husband was having a terrible time with alcohol. Without the help of Chris from Long Island Intervention, I likely would not be alive today to write this review. I was quickly dying from my addiction and I was ok with that. My amazing sister sought help from everywhere she could until she found LIV. Getting me to accept that I needed help and allowing myself to get it was not easy but, with the support of friends, loved ones, and these programs, I was able to restart my life. Chris did a great job in putting together a plan for my friend. He kept us informed on how the intervention process works, answered all of our questions, and organized a meet up prior to make sure everyone on the same page before the intervention. I was extremely nervous going into this and doubtful that it would work, but Chris helped to put my mind at ease, and we were able to successfully get through to my friend. I would definitely recommend having Chris as your intervention rep. He's very knowledgeable on substance abuse and how it can affect the abuser as well as their loved ones.

I hesitated getting help for a loved one with addiction after initially being presented the services offered by LI Intervention. I eventually relented and I am very glad I did: Chris at LI Intervention did a fabulous job communicating with me and the family what we had to do to get our loved one some help. My reluctance quickly gave way to determination thanks to him. The entire process was organized, informative, and in a way therapeutic in knowing my loved one was actually going to receive the care needed. I was skeptical if it would even work, but Chris assured me I'd be surprised: he was right. With family sitting down with our loved one in a coordinated intervention along with Chris' guidance, my loved one almost immediately agreed to enter a treatment program. It's hard facing such a difficult decision, but Chris guided us the whole way and understood what needed to be done. Do not be ashamed to admit a loved one needs help. Help is out there and LI Intervention gave it. Very grateful!
