My mom, aunt, and I ran across this tour online and decided to book it and spend a weekend in Cincinnati! The tour was SO much fun and our tour guide was amazing! We learned a lot about the history of the city and of course the food was delicious! Would highly recommend spending an afternoon doing this tour!

When looking to plan a holiday work outing, I didn’t want to just do a typical lunch or happy hour. A quick search of interesting things to do in Cincinnati led me to the Riverside Food Tours site. Laura, the owner, was easy to work with and very flexible with helping with dietary restrictions and scheduling. On the day of the tour, David, our guide was very easy to find. He was friendly and knowledgeable. While the whole group has lived in Cincinnati for much of their lives, we all walked away having learned a new fact. The tour stops center around more seasoned Cincy food locations, but all of the offerings were really great. You get healthy portions at each location so you do not leave this tour hungry. We spanned a decent part of the city, but utilized the streetcar which helped. The owners really went above and beyond when the streetcar went out of service and they personally drove my group to our parking location. I highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to try another one from their offering. This would make an excellent holiday gift, so check them out today!

David transformed my first impression of Cincinnati! He was so knowledgeable, with a presentation style that even kept the interest of our teenage grandsons. The food stops were perfect - got to try the things I'd hoped & a few more. Would HIGHLY recommend!

Our tour guide Mike was a local and very knowledgeable. Shared so many interesting facts with us all g the way. First time trying a tour that includes the local food. It added so much fun and things I would not have sought out to try on our own. Highly recommend the tour. Worth every penny spent.

There were four of us on this food tour with Beth, and we all had an excellent time. It was a great balance of interesting food and history of Cincinnati. Beth made sure everyone was comfortable, had a good time, and shared lots of great information. We would highly recommend this tour.

This tour is a must. Laura, our tour guide should be classified as a historian of all things, Cincinnati. This tour was well organized and there’s a lot that is packed in the three hours. It was wonderful meeting people from different states as well. She had a wonderful pulse on who we were so that she can deliver and customize the tour. She sent out reminders before the tour to keep us organized. She was warm and inviting. It was a great experience. Her communication skills are A+.

We took Mike's Mainstrasse food tour on Saturday and had a wonderful time! Mike was the perfect host and gave us interesting facts about each of the restaurants we visited, as well as the Mainstrasse area in general. The food stops were well organized, and the samplings were delicious. A food tour is the best way to see a city and this one is terrific. I would go back and take another Riverside Food Tour as they have many options.

Jackie was a fantastic tour guide! I learned so much about the history of my hometown of Cincinnati! The food at the six eateries was delicious! I am taking another one of their tours in three days!

This company offers the BEST customer service! I sent an email asking for information and the owner personally replied very quickly and gave me the information I needed. I booked the street car tour for my grandson, my sister, and me for a quick vacation to Cincinnati. Our tour guide, Terry, texted us well in advance of the trip to provide logistical information. We had another couple on our tour, so our group of five got along quite well, and Terry was very good at making everyone feel welcome. He provided lots of fun Cincinnati history and information that added to the experience. My nine-year-old grandson thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was hard to choose a favorite restaurant at the end of the tour because they all were delicious!

With our travels over the past 15 to 20 years, we have frequently enjoyed food tours in cities across the country. Our recent food tour with riverside food tours titled Cincy top 10 sites and bites city food tour with Jackie was truly a stand out! In addition to iconic Cincinnati foods, Jackie gave us an abundance of Cincinnati history. With her intelligent and engaging conversation, supplemented by visual aids, (!) she made us fall in love with Cincinnati. Wish we would have been in Cincinnati longer, as I would’ve loved to have taken another one of their tours.

Terrific tour!!! Just AWESOME!!!! David, our guide, was full of details and history about each place! He was like a walking Encyclopedia!!! We were so impressed by his knowledge about Cincinnati!! Thank you, David!!! You made our tour an exciting experience!! The tour was about Cincinnati food and top ten sights, and we enjoyed each moment, even though it was a cold winter day. We recommend this tour to everyone who wants to know more about Queen City- Cincinnati! PS: go with an empty stomach, the food that you will sample will fill you up!

Fun, laid back. A real treat! Terry was an awesome guide. It was Dec 27, we had a little snow on the ground, streetcar was running great, the group was up for a fun time and Terry took us to quite a few local spots. He has relationships with many local restraunteurs so you get in, get seated, have a bite, he gives some local history, and you have a great time. Very personable and sets a great tone. We covered a lot of ground and saw a lot but they accommodate for all ages too - so bring your whole crew! I don’t want to spoil anything but you get good food, see the sites, arts and culture and you’re going to Loooove Cincinnati! Oh

We booked a Saturday Brunch tour in OTR for my birthday! It was cold but we came prepared. Laura was on point! Her knowledge of the surrounding buildings & city was very impressive! Each stop was coordinated perfectly! It was exciting to learn about the city I was born and raised in along with people who had never been. There is so much to offer in Cincinnati! Thank you!

Best way to learn about Cincinnati and the great restaurants. Laura was awesome and knows Cincinnati. I highly recommend this activity. Learn about the "OTR", the German legacy of this city and how it has changed itself over the decades, fun stuff. Oh yea make sure you show up hungry. Thanks Laura for a great time.

What a lovely tour on a lovely afternoon in Cinci! Our guide Katie was fantastic and fit in just right with our group. She provided us with a great combo of information about each place we were going to. It was nice to just show up somewhere, have a place to sit, and have someone order/take care of the bill. The bartenders at 2 of the 4 locations even came over to introduce themselves and talk to us about the drink! That is def something you can't get anywhere else. Thanks for a great tour and experience :)

Excellent tour if you are in Cincinnati! Our tour guide was incredible before the tour to give us details and info. We ended up requesting a swap to another day and they had no issue and provided us quick details on the new tour. Katie was amazing! We tried several types of food and saw a lot of the city on the tour. Great way to eat and sightsee!

You’ll leave feeling like you know Cincinnati and will want to plan a trip back. A huge thanks to David for an outstanding tour!

We took the Streetcar and Findlay Market tour. We have taken multiple food tours in different cities and this was the best. Beth was our tour guide and she was perfect for the job. She shared a lot of history which I really enjoyed. The food was amazing and we got way more food than we could have with the money we spent on the tour. Using the streetcar allowed us to visit more areas than a traditional food tour. We plan to come back and do another tour soon!
