Fred Astaire Morristown is the best dance studio around. The coaches are very friendly and extremely skilled at teaching dance. By working with the wonderful coaches here, you can learn dance quickly and really have a lot of fun. I highly recommend Fred Astaire Morristown to anyone interested in learning dance.

Highly recommend Fred Astaire in Morristown. My wife and I decided to take dancing lessons and choreograph our first dance for our wedding as well as learn basic dancing skills. We were both beginners and the staff is simply amazing at giving instruction and making the lessons fun. Our dance lessons have been (BY FAR) the highlight of wedding planning and has become our routine date night.

We're now at almost 3 years of lessons, and we've gotten pretty in to it. We're taking multiple lessons per week, which has turned into some intense workouts. We're also now competing together and with our instructors a couple times a year. The instructors are all awesome, and have helped me make some great progress. We look forward to our lessons every week.

Choosing to start dance lessons at Fred Astaire Morristown is one of the best decisions my husband and I have made since moving here six months ago! The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, supportive and energetic. I leave each lesson feeling happier than when I came. Private and group lessons alike are so much fun and my dance skills are excelling much quicker than I expected. We’re very grateful for this community!

Got signed up to take lessons with Fred Astaire during the Fall festival in Morristown in 2021. When I started I said my goal was to learn how to hear the beat.... to say I had two left feet was an understatement, I didn't even know how to move my feet. The team at Fred Astaire has gotten those straightened out. They start with the basics and work up from there, they have complimentary group classes for current students and dance parties every other week. Overall, you can dance 4 or 5 days per week if you'd like to improve quickly. The studio is a community and we've met tons of great people here. Highly recommend coming here!

Okay so between the two of us me and my now husband have 4 left feet. We didn’t want to do an awkward boring sway for our first dance so we went to Fred Astaire. From the moment we got there we felt like family. Our instructors Will and Thea were incredible and they had their work cut out for them. We were dreading the thought of dance lessons in the beginning, but we knew we needed them and we’re so glad we did it. We ended up looking forward to our lessons every week and we had an awesome first dance that surprised everyone! We just might need to find a reason to go back :)

I've been dancing here for almost 3 years, and there's a reason I keep coming back. All the instructors are very friendly, and are great at teaching any style of (ballroom) dance. They're very creative and have helped me not just with my dancing, but also with confidence and improving how I carry myself on a daily basis outside the studio.

My wife and I have been taking lessons there for about a year and a half. It's been a great experience working one-on-one with the different instructors as wells as couple's lessons together. It's turned into our regular date night every week, and we love it. We've even participated in some competitions and showcases. I highly recommend the whole FADS family.

I've been dancing with Fred Astaire Morristown since January of 2017 and I've loved every minute of it! The instructors are incredibly talented and have not only taught me so much about dance, but have also become friends. My wife and I came here to prepare for our first dance. Both of us came in with no prior dance experience (nor talent). The instructors (Jeff, Thea, Will, Alisa, Tony and Vanda) did an excellent job of helping us learn the basics and craft and refine the routine for our first dance. The staff is highly professional and did a great job of accommodating us as beginners. Moreover, they did so while making lessons fun and light-hearted; it was apparent that many of the longer-tenured students had made good friends with their instructor(s). The team engages students outside of formal lessons with weekly events that give students an additional chance to practice in a more true-to-life setting (these are free to students). I would highly recommend Fred Astaire to anyone looking to prepare for a wedding / social event or that are looking to pick up a new skill while having fun.

I truly cannot recommend Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Morristown enough! My husband and I came to an open house about 7 months ago and have been dancing ever since! The instructors and the welcoming and positive environment they create is what makes coming to each lesson, party, and competition so much fun. In the short time we’ve been dancing here, we’ve progressed through the Fred Astaire syllabus and learn new steps in different dances and how to truly make each dance look effortless. I never thought I’d be dancing - let alone ballroom dancing, and getting to share a this hobby and sport with my husband. If you’re looking for passionate instructors, look no further than Will, Jeff, Alisa, Thea, Vanda, and Dima. Not to mention their fabulous front desk manager, Cristina, is so friendly and helpful for booking lessons or shopping for dance shoes!

We had the absolute best time with Will and Alisa! My fiancé and I joined the studio in hopes of learning some moves for our first dance, and the two of them completely blew our expectations out of the water! In 6 weeks, they choreographed the perfect first dance for us, as well as covered the basics of ballroom dancing and taught us a few new moves. They were naturals at making us feel comfortable and confident, and we truly had so much fun with the two of them. We’re so happy we joined!

Thea and Will were amazing instructors! Without much time before our wedding, they helped us hash out a plan for getting a lovely dance routine ready for our First Dance. They were patient, but persistent - which was exactly what we needed, since neither of us are very good dancers! Trust the process - they taught us the basics, put the pieces together, and in our last lesson even helped polish the routine in a way that really elevated the whole thing. Their style and attitudes really gave us the confidence to rock our first dance and stay out on the dance floor the whole night! We had so much fun learning with them and we loved the outcome! The classes themselves were super fun and we looked forward to them every week. We're so grateful they helped us create such an amazing memory with our first dance!
