    Brownsville PUB continuously abuses their customer because they have a monopoly on the city of Brownsville and know that their customers can not take their business elsewhere. The latest thing: It is ridiculous that a company of this size has an invoicing system that has been down for months. Customers can pay their bills but are not allowed to actually view their invoices to see what they’re paying for. Incredibly suspicious that this is happening while the monthly bills are skyrocketing, and when you call customer service it takes forever to connect to a representative who can help you see your bill. The CSR also cannot seem to tell people when the invoice system will be back up and running. I also tried installing solar panels to not have to deal with them anymore, and they over 6 months to connect my panels because PUB took their sweet time in scheduling inspections and would find any ridiculous excuse to not turn them on. Apparently, they stall as much as they can with solar panels to not lose their $$ and continue abusing of their customers. It’s time the people of Brownsville stand up to these bullies, they’re out of control.

    We need to vote these ppl out. They have a monopoly on the city of Brownsville. My bill went from about 200 to 300 in the summer of 2022. I thought monopolies were illegal. But the mayor was lying when he said our PUB bills were goin to lower down. 🙄 Wait until your re-election Lord Farquad and vote out these clowns that monopolize that overcharge/control the utilities. Like the gas and food, these clowns want to take advantage of inflation. I bet anything if I call and complain, they're just going to blame excess use or give "helpful" tips to save electricity. 😑

    The worst utility company I have ever used. Poor service to the point that you can not get in contact with them. No transparency when it comes to the rates they charge. I turned everything off in my home including the A/C for a month when I went on a trip and they charged me for more than a months usage.

    Horrible service. Procrastinators when it comes to reconnecting service! I never received a disconnect notice from them and had my electricity cut off while I was working from home. Spent the whole night without electricity even though payment was made at 2 pm! I live in a small apartment and am paying almost $300 a month now! What is going on with these high fees???

    I live in a small apartment only me my wife and my 2 year old son. We used to pay only 90 dollars a month for electricity but now we pay 200. I tried saving electricity as best as i can for a month and it still came out at 200. Funny thing is that the finished building their new water tower. I guees we are paying for it. They are scamming us. Dont sign up with this people

    If I could I would give it 0 stars….they are charging once again a ridiculous amount of water $605.Stating I might have a leak or I left something running. I have never paid more than $200 of water. I send in my disputed and they reduced the amount only by $119 leaving a balance of 486!!! Still a high amount of water. We need a better water company where they don’t try to scam you!!!!!!

    It’s difficult to pay online. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. If I log in and it says session expired, that means it won’t work. I called customer service and they just say the website is fine. Very irritating. All I want to do is make a payment. It should be easy.

    They are charging us 350 dollars for light and water... 2 months ago I had a new energy efficient ac installed and solar screens to reduce my energy use and keep my bill lower... all of my appliances are new and changed all the lights in my house to energy efficient bulbs. My bill was 150 after I got the AC installed the roof redone and the solar screens installed then I got 580 dollars credit for having those things done. 2 months is all it took for my credit to be gone now this month was 350 what the hell is going on?

    I onlybhave water with these people and my bill is always at $90 considering I work mostly away from home have only 1 child living in the household. Fees are always more than the actual service. This monopoly has to end.

    On August 09,2022 my light was disconnected without a notice. Only a bill of pass due to be paid 8/17/22. Three days with no light. Now I understand now PUB works. Thank you

    PUB was charing me $600 plus, back in 2016 till 2019, I had to literally say I'm calling the news station to expose this corruption. Even the pub employee saw that I was being over charged by pub, I have proof and want compensation, I was victimized. PUB took over 6 months to deliver a trashcan also to me after calling constantly for one. On another note, I also have energy saver appliances, I should have been billed less, I want justice being served immediately.

    The associate for BPUB came down within 15 minutes of me reporting a water issue and had the problem solved within 5 minutes. Amazing and quick work, I truly appreciated how fast they were to respond. The worker was very nice and courteous as well.

    Your website is in need of a serious upgrade!!! Making a payment online is so frustrating because it keeps saying my session has expired. I hate PUB with a passion!!! They don't care because they have a monopoly.

    PUB has taken advantage of Brownsville citizens for years. The prices are at an all time high. I would suggest looking into solar panel programs that do it for free. PUB needs to be put to an end it’s gotten out of control.

    Idk why everyone thinks that PUB is good lmao no fixed rate so it's forever changing not only that you're basically forced to go with them. I've paid the most I've ever paid in light with PUB, for a 1 bedroom, I used to pay less than 100 a month for a 2 bedroom

    Customer service is not aligned with Individuals With Disabilities Act. I exhausted one hour and half to repair the mistakes in the BPUB system and to no avail were my concerns addressed. Covid issues are not a part of any customer service platform in regards to BPUB.

    We lost power and heat today on Christmas eve, took 9 hours due to they were busy but just wanted to thank the crew that came out in the cold and on Christmas eve to restore power!!! Very grateful 🙏 thank you

    Worst Company. They offer options then do not stand by it. If you live in Brownsville- I feel sorry that you have no other options for your water service. It's a great example of the corruption this town sees day in and day out.

    Disappointed that we are charged $6.50 a month resaca fee. After speaking to customer service who said the board decided that we all had to pay the expense to upkeep the resacas. I live on a budget, PUB should too.
