It

Mr.
Cheeseman
is
interested
in
the
development
of
his
students
as
both
martial
artists
and
as
people.
His
manner
has
the
perfect
balance
of
kind
and
firm.
He
keeps
his
dojo
a
place
of
honor,
respect,
and
focus,
while
at
the
same
time
allowing
room
for
fun,
smiles,
and
laughter.
His
relaxed
and
sometimes
silly
nature
takes
absolutely
nothing
away
from
when
he
is
serious
and
requires
his
students
to
center
and
follow
his
instruction.
His
experience
as
a
martial
artist
is
apparent,
but
his
skill
as
a
teacher
is
his
greatest
asset
in
the
studio.
His
students
respectfully
call
him
Kyoshi,
referring
to
his
role
as
masterful
teacher,
and
the
term
is
well
deserved.
However,
I
believe
there
is
some
else
at
the
core
of
why
he
gets
so
many
long
term
students
and
endless
positive
reviews.
It's
because
he
really
truly
listens
and
genuinely
cares
about
those
who
join.
Mr.
Cheesman
is
a
teacher
anyone
would
be
lucky
to
learn
from
and
a
human
being
who
is
interested
in
the
growth
of
his
students
beyond
their
time
in
his
classroom.
It
is
my
