Looking for something different, we came to this Afghanistan restaurant. Just a quaint little spot. Food was absolutely delicious, and the service was extremely friendly. Everyone working asked how are day was, and how the food tastes. We both got specials, the kabob Palau and the afghan carryon. Both very filling, and very flavorful. We will be back quite often.

Stopped by looking for a quick bite. Was willing to settle for something... We did not settle. This food was amazing, from the bread to the potato to the lamb. I was so pleasantly surprised. Great sized portions and the flavor popped really well. Will come back when I'm next in town and try something else

Kabob Restaurant Can’t Be Beat! Found another hidden gem in the Fredericksburg area. This little family-run storefront restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you want some very tasty Afghan food. Two of us dined here for lunch on a recent Wednesday. While there was no one seated at any of the booths, there was a steady stream of walk-in and pick-up traffic. We ordered from the counter and decided to eat-in. They have a variety of lunch specials as well as starters and entrees. I chose the Lunch #1, a kabob of chicken, with basmati rice, one side (I chose eggplant), and nan. My daughter chose the lamb kabob wrap, which included a side (she chose the chickpeas). Both meals were very flavorful and delicious. The chicken was tender and juicy. The lamb wrap was huge! The basmati rice was excellent. The nan bread was warm and delicious. The quantity of food was outstanding, providing two meals for us! The service in this small restaurant was very friendly and pleasant.

Excellent kabob restaurant. Actually, one of the best restaurants in Fredericksburg. The portions are big. The Nan bread is to die for. The chicken kabob meal is what I usually order. It comes with a huge portion of fresh cooked nan bread, delicious, tender, marinated kabobs, the best basmati rice I ever had, a side dish, (my choice is the stewed chick peas), and a side salad. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They serve delicious slightly sweetened hot green tea while you're waiting. Even if you're picking up a to go order. The restaurant is clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We stopped by Kabob Restaurant for a late lunch. This restaurant has a wide variety of middle eastern foods and fresh made Naan. I had the Shawarma Gyro Wrap which is wrapped in Naan fresh from the cooker, it was exceptional. My lunch date had the Boneless Chicken Kabob which was very tasty and enough food for two people. Both of us brought food home. We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu

Yo this is by far THE number one kabob I ever had. They just opened four months ago & hope they keep it up. It’s a one-man kitchen when I walked in so be patient. They take time w the foods it is super home & freshly made. I had the bone in chicken kabob w rice salad & chickpeas. The chickpeas were so on point and savory, w a little tomato action. Also tried the Maust-o-khiar & had to order another naan to go w it. The texture of the naan was the perfect chew. I am bamboozled. I can’t believe how freakin amazing this food was. Like the best meal I ever had in several years. Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. Wonderful beautiful meal. Hope they’re in business for decades to come. God bless Afghanistan.

A perfect example of a good hole in the wall restaurant. We had the boneless chicken and lamb kabobs with spinach and eggplant. I typically don't favor spinach, but Kabob's was really good to where the consistency, smell, and appearance of the spinach was nothing compared to its taste. Everything was cooked and seasoned so well, we enjoyed it immensely.

Went to this restaurant for the first time a few days ago and it was fantastic. Sometimes it is hard to find staff that is really grateful and enthusiastic for your business, but I can tell that the man taking our order was so proud of the restaurant and it really shows. Everyone working there was so friendly. The pita bread here was absolutely delicious, I would come back just to get some to take home. A huge portion as well. They have several vegetarian options, including appetizers. I ended up getting a veggie kabob and unfortunately I didn't know what vegetables it had, because a few I couldn't eat. Totally my fault for not asking. The dish comes with grilled vegetables, onions, tomatoes, green peppers, along with delicious rice, any side from the buffet, and a huge order of pita bread. I ended up getting the potatoes and they were absolutely delicious. Not too spicy but a lot of flavor. My boyfriend had the lamb, chicken combo, with a side of potatoes, rice and pita. He really enjoyed it. They have this delicious tea at the front as well. The restaurant has lunch specials so it might be a good way for you to check it out on a budget. There are several booths and tables to eat in but they do a brisk business for take out. We'll definitely go back!

The bread is made in house and is absolutely delicious. The seasoning for the chickpeas and spinach is incredible. Best kabob resturant in town!

Was recommended by a friend. Really good Afghani dishes. Have returned numerous times. Have had a little difficulty getting online orders filled. Suggest ordering at the restaurant and waiting there.

First time ordering from Kabob restaurant but definitely many more to come. Excellent tasting food with a lot of flavor. Chicken kabob was juicy and tender. Even my 17 month old son liked it and he can be picky! My husband loved the beef and lamb, my son also liked the lamb. I recommend this new place in Fredericksburg!!!!

Delicious food. I would highly recommend going here. Pictured is the Shawarma Wrap and the Chopan Kabob. The Shawarma is one of the best I've had and the Chopan was fall off the bone delicious. Would definitely call ahead if you're in a rush. Everything is cooked to order (rightfully so) and will take a bit to cook the more complex dishes. However, the wait is worth every second. All in all, definitely visit this restaurant, you won't be disappointed.

The owner loves his job and his love for Pashtun cuisine is evident in the quality of these meals. The freshness of the ingredients can not be understated, while dining you'd think you are in Central Asia. I can recommend dinner and lunch, there is no compromise on quality. Do not be deterred by the prices, it's worth every cent. I applaud the owner and the staff, may you have continued success and growth. Bravo.

Delicious. The meats are tender and seasoned well, the bread is just right, salad is crisp, the chickpeas flavorful. The kabob meals are big enough for two meals. I'm a fan.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg. Delicious every time. The staff are all kind, appreciative, and I always get offered tea when I’m there longer than a minute. The reviews for this place are no joke, it’s truly 5 stars. I only wish they had a more distinctive name so I could recommend them more easily to other people without them thinking I’m talking about Kabob Corner.
