For patients in the waiting room even after getting started they don't get put in a room for triage. You can hear the staff and there is no privacy unless you're in the back room. I mentioned that it felt insensitive but the staff was laughing and joking and honestly it's unprofessional. The Midwife walk me through the process and told me that I couldn't sort the speculum myself and I told her I think she would be more qualified and able to do that. After the discussion with the Midwife, I was pulled into a back room and told that they were there to protect their practice, I asked over the patient's? And he painted that the patients were a big part of the practice. I was told that I didn't have enough trust in their staff even though I had allowed them to put a needle in me, trusted in their choice in medications, trusted them with my medical history. They said it wouldn't be a good fit that they would give me a referral. At that point, that's when I stopped having trust.

I called the center and had a very unpleasant interaction with a very unprofessional girl supposedly named Zoey. She was extremely passive aggressive. I asked to speak with someone that I had previously spoken to and was comfortable with and her phone etiquette was horrible. She put me on hold without warning, then told me he wasn't available. She didn't offer to take a message, she said she could have him call me back then hung up. She didn't even take down any of my information or check to see if she had it in the system. So I called right back and verified that it was the same girl and told her that she was very unprofessional for the reasons I mentioned above, she didn't apologize & disagreed. She also mentioned that they were closing in 8 minutes. Seems like all she cared about was getting out of work and not assisting me. I responded by saying, you aren't closed yet and he can call me tomorrow. When I explained to her that she didn't verify my information and she should check, she said nothing for a long while. I asked if she was still there, (again, terrible customer service), she asked for my last name and said she had the number. When I asked her to verify it, she said it out loud with an incorrect digit. I don't know if this was done on purpose or not, but by then I was already extremely irritated. I asked to speak to the office manager or supervisor available and also asked for their name. She ignored me and again just placed me on hold. Another girl by the name of Alex picked up and when I explained to her what occurred she said: "She was trying to help you and you wouldn't let her". She immediately took Zoey's side and didn't even care about how I felt as a client. I've been a manager for many years and know that this type of treatment on behalf of employees can only stem from lack of maturity and inexperience. Also, lack of training. You guys work at a place where compassion, attention to detail, and high quality customer service is absolutely necessary. This was a ridiculous interaction and you both need to be retrained in a professional setting by someone who cares about their customers, but on the street - you both deserve to be cussed out. Taking advantage that you are across the phone when someone on the other line is in a vulnerable state can have dire consequences. This seemed to be a high quality clinic, if you want your reputation to remain that way, you should probably remove those 2 unprofessional people from the front office. Who knows how many other clients you lose because of frustrating and unprofessional interactions like these. SMH

The Staff and Doctor were excellent! I was able to be seen with 3 hours of calling where other clinics couldn’t get me in for 2 over weeks (which is unacceptable in this line of business)! Everyone in the Bethesda office was friendly and so nurturing during a potentially very difficult time. I would highly recommend and wish I knew about them sooner. They were there for me in a time of extreme need when other places weren’t (and didn’t care) and that means the world in a situation like that. I truly am forever thankful and grateful for them.

My experience was mentally and physically hard but the staff made me comfortable and did such an amazing job. The environment was very relaxing and non judgmental. I travelled very far to come to this clinic and was terrified but they were so awesome. I was 100% in the right place. They accommodated to my needs and went above and beyond. I will forever remember them and how much they helped me through this! 10000% recommend.

This was an extremely difficult decision to come here but the staff made it easier and took very good care of me. They made a box with some flower seeds and a card with the foot prints from my baby. It meant so much to me. I love that they made something special for me since my situation is so difficult.

I was rushed out of the clinic while I felt heavily medicated and cramping. I could barely walk but the nurse told me the doctor said I was getting “too comfortable” because I was resting pretty hard after SURGERY. I wasn’t given any discharge instructions to take home or any medication, pain meds— NOTHING not so much as a piece of paper (I had to ask for it) and was given one non informative piece of paper. Disgusting behavior from so called professionals. When one of the staff members a heavy set lady (a new hire) who was being trained noticed I was having surgery without anesthesia she said “oooo yikes”. Who says that in a professional environment? Is that supposed to make me feel safe? Not to mention the loud music playing while you recover, the staff gossiping and people all up in your personal space. Can you say GHETTO MESS? Anyway I had to wait in the car for an hour so medication could ware off and I could actually drive 45 mins home. Posting under another name for privacy obviously but I promise you this happened!!

Just getting on to share my journey with this office and staff. They were very passionate and caring from the time I walked in. I was scared and they reassured me that i would be okay. Dr. Swallow was awesome and everyone that had to help when i ran into a big scare. I cant thank them enough for saving me, being family cause I was by myself and far away from home.. love you guys.. I'm definitely coming to visit and see you all when this virus is over.

The ladies that work at this clinic are the BEST!! They treat me with kindness and respect they made me feel at home, and they always making sure I was okay and can’t forget about the doctor his was wonderful, I would do it all over again.

I was a bit of an emotional wreck about my situtaton, albeit hiding it, and I'm so glad I ended up coming here. The staff and doctor were professional and supportive. Unfortunately, I had went to another clinic and my regular OBGYN before coming here. I have uterine fibroids that I was told I should be worried about, and my regular doctor would not even respond to messages about my concerns. I hadn't even made a decision at that point, just mentioned that I hadn't planned to get pregnant and I still haven't received a response in 5 weeks. This place within meeting me for a few hours were more helpful, kind and concerned about my situation and health than a doctor I had been going to for 2 years.

I went here around a week after the feds declared COVID a federal emergency and everyone was in a panic and confused about everything. This clinic still did an amazing job, considering we could not have any loved ones come into the office due to COVID. The staff was amazing and the Doctor provides a service that saves lives.

I have had an extremely hard time with majority of the clinics in every area. I am a new mom dealing with PPD and I was so traumatized by the experience I had earlier today with another clinic. I was recommended CARE clinic by w friend and they were able to accommodate a same day appointment for me. Upon entry I had a pleasant experience with the receptionist on the phone. She was delicate with me, she was polite and professional, and just so considerate of everything I had gone through. She got me booked for an appointment in about 10 mins. I was greeted by Nurse Jackie ( sweetest woman on the planet) she and the receptionist got my checked in, no long wait times, no pressure for payment, literally just took CARE of me. Nurse Jackie and Dr.Carthart were so pleasant, they serviced me with integrity, gentleness, and in a nonjudgmental way. I felt accepted, I felt heard and understood— I was happy all of the other clinics were tumultuous because my experience at the CARE clinic was the complete opposite. Considering everything going on in politics today if you have to seek services such as confirmation of pregnancy and your options THIS is the place to go! You will leave confident in your choice and your home care. You will leave feeling supported and you will feel welcomed here!

Hands down the best place ever. The staff and the doctors are INCREDIBLE , super nice , very understanding & very professional!

I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone who needs it. The staff is really nice and seem passionate about what they do. They provided excellent care from beginning to end and did everything they could to make sure I was comfortable and supported me through the whole process. They also provide a very relaxing environment so you're as comfortable as possible.

A decision like this isn’t always easy. But I had genuine care and support from the entire team. Professional yet human interactions with everyone I encountered. And someone to call when I needed it. I will forever be thankful for the environment I was given to go through this phase in life with me. They were there when I needed them. After having a terrible experience, I called this clinic and they scheduled my appointment as soon as I could get there after a three hour flight. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was warm, kind, compassionate and caring. They listened to my struggles and concerns, comforted me and held my hand through a difficult situation. Dr. Swallow saw me that day and took every step she could to make me comfortable and take care of me. She even personally called me a few days later to check on me and make sure I was doing alright. Words can’t explain how thankful I am for the amazing women at the clinic. I will never forget their compassion and kindness.

Had an appointment today with the Care Clinic and I cannot lie, It was the best experience I could’ve had in a situation like this. The whole staff was amazing! Very attentive and informative on everything. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and assured. 10/10 . Loved the staff🫶🏼
