Being right next to the Colorado River makes it even better. Enjoy a walk around the lake or try your luck with fishing. Kids under 12 don't need a fishing license.

    Love the outdoors! Safe place to visit. With very clean grounds and trails for walking. There's a resting area with bathrooms. It is $9 per vehicle for 24 hours and you need a permit to go fishing. So it's expensive if you go by yourself on a walk.

    My husband fished this as a kid and took his family to this lake while visiting GJ. We had so much fun fishing here and almost caught our limit. I enjoyed the Colorado River flowing on the other side and also the nice trails in the area. Fun memories we will have of this place! Very well maintained.

    Wish there was camping but its still a great place to visit with family and friends. Great fishing and love the river access.
