I took my first lesson with James today and couldn’t have been more happy that I did. I’ve heard great things about James and his teaching style and now I see why. James has a passion for helping people improve their game. He really knows how to make you understand what you are doing wrong and how to do it right. I learned so much about my swing in 30 minutes that I’m confident my game will be trending to the next level. I will definitely see him again, highly recommended!

He is insanely patient and has a great demeanor, you can’t help but feel relaxed around him. In an hour he completely broke down my swing, diagnosed my issues, and helped me build a much more stable swing. Overall my confidence has skyrocketed since working with him, I will definitely be back.

Recently I moved from Colorado to Florida, and Bent grass to Bermuda. These changes, and a desire to improve my swing, short game and tactics as well as a deterioration of my handicap to 2.7 created a need to find a great coach. I started working with James 6 weeks ago. After 4 lessons with James, and some practice my game has improved greatly (+1). I can finally see the next "impossible" goals become steps along the way. I have been a coach, and a teacher to sports teachers for 30 years and I recognize a Wizard teacher/coach/guide when I see one. James is such a Wizard. Thank you James.

Had my first lesson today. Due to my own time constraints I could only do a 30 min sessions. He tweaked one thing in my swing path and I was hitting consistently straight immediately. He was very insightful and patient. Had a great time today. Looking forward to many more lessons.

I have been taking lessons from James since 2010. His lessons enable me to keep playing golf at a level that makes me happy. He is an excellent teacher and is patient, caring and uses a variety of methods and tools to keep me in the game. James has the ability to provide help in golf club fitting and is able to find many ways to explain how to correct a problem . James is the best golf teacher I have ever had and really is worthy of a 10 star rating!

I started my 9 year old son off with Coach James last year. The coaching and mentorship that James has provided my son has proven to be invaluable so far! To see the improvements that my son has made exclusively on the course would not be doing James justice. I have seen growth in regards to confidence, focus, self-discipline and self-worth. James' golf and coaching abilities for my son is without a doubt allowing him an amazing head start on life lessons and of course his golf game. He knows how change things up to allow his skill set to grow while keeping it fun. He is one of those rare coaches that gets filed under "favorite coaches I've had in my life." My 7 year old has know joined in on lessons and I am just as excited for his progress as well!

James was impressive. I needed some help in making more consistent contact. He pointed out some minor posture issues that were easy to correct. Then James calmly suggest a little experiment. When he finished his suggestion, I looked at him and told him he was out of his mind. Insane. His suggestion went against everything I have learned about the golf the swing. But, I decided to humor this insane golf instructor. What happened next was amazing. I followed his instruction and starting hitting my 9 iron 10 yards longer and consistently at the target. That was a 8% increase in distance in 10 min. I am excited to get back to the range and work on this new swing move with my other irons. Totally unexpected, but unbelievable results. Had my first lesson with James today. He’s great. He quickly identified my swing flaws and provided extremely helpful, practical tips to fix them. By the end of the lesson I saw improvement on video. It will take work (all swing changes do) but I’m looking forward to working with him and taking my game to the next level.

This was my 5th lesson with James and second review as I feel he definitely deserves it. This last lesson we did putting only, and man was I surprised with how in depth and helpful it was to my game. He added a sensor to my grip and got a ton of data from my stroke, was able to pin point where I needed improvements and he instantly, significantly improved my putting. My last 2 rounds were 83,82 largely to improved putting. My friends were impressed. Thanks James, you da man!
