You can’t talk about this place without talking about the gem of an owner, Bry, who somehow manages to fit into that tiny red food trailer and not be grumpy about it, but rather, make you smile. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I sought to find the best places to eat in Alamogordo when I found myself here for a week visiting a friend. Anyone who does a Google search will quickly realize there are not many great places to eat in this town. Enter Bry’s Lunchbox to change all that. This place really fills a need in the community. Everything Bry makes is delicious, hearty, and made with care. I had the opportunity to eat here twice. First time I got the Gyro with loaded potato soup side and my friend got the Greek salad. We got to talk to Bry on that first visit and he said later in the week he’d be making some recipes with green chile that I should try as a tourist, since chile is a very New Mexico thing. So fast forward- the second time I called ahead and asked if I could have the chile soup that he mentioned he’d be making. I said that’s all I wanted and I’d be there to pick up in a few min. Seconds after I got out of my car he was handing me a packed box. It felt heavier than just soup. He didn’t charge for it, but there was a delicious pesto grilled cheese and turkey sandwich inside. I insisted and left some money for him. The combination of the flavors of the sandwich dipped in the hearty homemade soup was phenomenal. Not to mention the above and beyond customer service. I recommend this place to anyone in Alamogordo and also folks visiting White Sands National Park looking to grab lunch either to eat after or before visiting the park or to take to the park for a picnic. It is conveniently located next to Walmart if you need to combine it with running an errand too. All of the food is nicely packed in a brown cardboard box with utensils. What he doesn’t tell you is that he likes to try to include a sweet treat for you in your box… a small package of cookies. Well, Bry says he doesn’t advertise this since sometimes they run out of cookies so if someone gets it then it is like a nice surprise. …Maybe I shouldn’t have spoiled it for you! Anyway the portions and value are great for the price! All in all…Bry is a super nice guy, seems truly passionate about what he does and has been able to connect with the community here. I know he needs to pay the bills but he truly does not seem in it for the money. He also has a professional culinary background so he’s the real deal. You should definitely support this business! While I think the food truck aspect of it is special and allows Bry to connect with each customer, I’d love to see this business grow in Alamogordo to a larger brick and mortar location, if Bry decides he wants to expand in the future. ✌️

Bry’s Lunchbox is an Alamogordo gem! We were looking for a quick & healthy lunch and this place went above and beyond my expectations. The Kassie was one of the more memorable sandwiches I’ve had in awhile, and the Greek salad was so fresh and flavorful. Bry is super thoughtful with his ingredients and preparation. The value just can’t be beat. I’m so glad to have stumbled upon this gem!

What’s better than the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had? A breakfast burrito that is made by Bryan. Great prices, and great conversations. We stumbled upon it during a road trip, and it was the best food we had on our whole trip. His soup is so good, people even bring their own containers!

This little gem! Great conversation and amazing food! Not just the food but the owner! Small business at its finest! Bryan is absolutely the best host. The food was amazing! My husband doesn’t even like onion (we forgot to request no onion with all of the great conversation) and he ate every bite of his Gyro! It will be a much from now on anytime I go through Alamogordo.

What a friendly and accommodating gentleman. AND, great food!! Was satisfied with a very local sandwich that we heard being cooked/prepared just after we ordered it. Fresh Fresh Fresh. The Green Chile stew I ordered as a side was a must. Beef stew meat and the semi spicy (in my opinon) flavor was excellent. Everything I would have hoped it to be, and then some. Can tell care goes into everything. I really hope that the owner(s) read these so that they could get a pat or 3 on the back. Thank you for offering the food location- well done!!

Very rare to find! Someone who cares about his customers, food selection and quality. The entire menu was delicious. The only downside, is the business hours. The last meal I ordered from here, I had purchased as an extra. I am on business travel. So, I stored it so it could eaten the following day, while working on the road. He went above and beyond, making sure I didn't go hungry. Quality and quantity! Reasonable prices with excellent food. Highly recommend, if you’re looking to get the best value for your money. I look forward to my future travels, when I return, to see how his business has grown.

My partner and I came across Bry's on our cross-country road trip, and what a find!! Bry is truly a hospitable host, and he was eagerly accommodating to my vegetarian needs (and our early-morning travel the next day)! 😊 We learned about his interest and passion for developing cuisine, and that was easily confirmed in the final product. #welovefeta There's a reason Bry's Lunchbox has so many 5 star reviews! 🌟

I couldn’t have been luckier to stumble upon Bry’s Lunchbox in Alamogordo on my recent road trip from Indianapolis to Salt Lake City. Stayed near White Sands NP for a few days and was tempted to make my visit longer just as an excuse to eat more meals here. Bryan is a kind, generous & passionate chef, and an even better human. Each meal I had there (a breakfast Philly, burrito and pozole) was a unique blend of his own creativity and I’m extremely grateful I got to try a few of his different menu items. Being a solo road-tripper, I was also thrilled at how friendly, genuine & delightful he was to have a conversation with. I really enjoyed getting to know him and learning more about the area from a local’s perspective. Bryan is truly spectacular at his craft and is a staple in his local community. Anyone who doesn’t stop at Bry’s Lunchbox is truly missing out on a fantastic meal. My only complaint is that I can’t leave him more than five stars.

Came here and got the Monte Cristo with the soup of the day (green chili chicken enchilada) and the philly with potato salad. The food is so good! The Monte Cristo was so crispy and had such a good amount of meat and cheese. The soup was probably my favorite part of the entire meal and I would buy a gallon of it if I could. The philly was to die for with so much flavor and the potato salad was very good. I highly recommend this place. We are just travelling through but this might be one of the best places to eat in this whole town. Also the cookies with every meal is such a nice touch because everyone needs something sweet after a good meal!

Absolutely delicious! This hit the spot! We had Philly cheese steak sandwiches and tomato soup. Everything was made fresh and prices were very resonable (about $12 per meal). The owner was very friendly and talks with each of his customers. We would love to come back.

So glad we found this hidden gem! Everything was delicious. The Greek salad and the chili chicken soup is the best combination!! We’re not from Alamogordo but Bry took some time to write a list of some cool places to check out on our stay here. Amazing food and service.

We tried out Brys Lunchbox for Breakfast yesterday and came back for Lunch the next day. We're hooked! His breakfast burritos & sandwiches are DELICIOUS! Try out his new pulled pork Cuban sandwich, made with red chiles! & pair it with his homemade soup of the day!

This is a wonderful find. Our sandwiches were delicious. The chef/owner is talented, creative, generous, warm and a pleasure to gab with to boot. I cannot recommend this hidden gem strongly enough.

My friends and I were in town from Boulder, Colorado, to visit the Sand Dunes. We wanted a quick, healthy meal and stumbled across Bry’s. While the Dunes ended up being incredible, Bry’s was actually the best part of our trip. Bryan, the proprietor, was a phenomenal host and cook. He chatted with each of us to understand our dietary preferences, and then hand-crafted sandwiches for each of us to suit our needs. They were EXCELLENT, as were the sides (various homemade soups and potato salad). All the vegetables were fresh (even the lettuce wasn’t iceberg, it was dark leafy greens). It gave us the nutrition for on-the-go that we were looking for. If you don’t want fast food, and want great value - go to Bry’s! Bonus points if you’re a van lifer and have any stickers to share with him. Just like a true lunchbox, he’ll proudly let you put them on the stand. Thank you!

MUST MUST VISIT! Located conveniently in the Walmart plaza, this food truck is an absolute gem that you won't want to miss. Bryan’s burritos were a lifesaver when we needed fuel after hours of hiking in the sand. The burritos were not only super filling but also incredibly awesome in taste. Bryan himself is an absolute delight - friendly and accommodating. We decided to go with the "trust me" option, and it certainly didn't disappoint. A perfect stop for a memorable meal!

I really wanted a breakfast burrito and came across Bry’s Lunchbox as one of the top places. He was very welcoming when I showed up and gave me lots of good information about his menu. The burritos and soup were absolutely delicious. Overall great experience! Owner is super passionate about cooking and loves sharing it with his customers.

I was little bit sceptical about the 5.0 ratings, but we loved the food and the service. We didn't know it was a food truck, so we're looking for a restaurant. It is a food truck parked behind the WaFd bank, just beyond Walmart parking. I ordered Massie on sourdough bread and my wife ordered Massie on Pita bread with just veggies (she being vegetarian). Both of us loved our sandwiches (freshly made and just off the grill). And with Potato salad, it was quite filling, too. He is a very nice guy and came to our truck few minutes later to ask how our food was.

Literally the best sandwiches ever. The owner has so much creativity with the flavors he chooses and always makes sandwiches exactly how you want them!! The best service I’ve ever ran into!

We stopped here based on reviews and weren't disappointed. The sandwiches were fantastic, and the lunchbox with chips and a cookie were a nice touch. Bryan is very friendly and easy to talk to. He makes it seem like your food is ready in two minutes. If you're just visiting, he's a wealth of knowledge about the area, and the location is super convenient. Definitely recommend!!!
