We absolutely love Island Camps. My son started attending skate camp 4 years ago when he was 6. It’s so much more than a camp, it’s like a big family. I’m grateful to Uli, Zion and Toni for helping Alex gain confidence and teaching him skating techniques along the way. The only thing my son asked for, for his birthday was to spend a day skating with his mentor Zion. That speaks volumes!

My son loved the camp . The instructors are friendly and fun . It’s so nice to be able to spend the day outdoor by the beach.

This was the first year my two sons 9 and 12 joined this camp. They had a blast!!! I was concerned about them being in the sun for such a long period of time without me reapplying sunblock. The team did an great job of reminding all the kids to reapply. They even sold fun colored zinc at the camp for the kids. They had a pizza party , tie dye shirts, tubing… All the staff was wonderful to my kids and we look forward to next summer.

My kiddo had fun during his week of Surf Camp this summer. He was on the younger side and the counselors were kind and took great care of him. Thank you for that. :-) I offer suggestions to make this an experience we would definitely do again, because I'm not sure we would without at least some of the below changes -- 1. More help with the actual surfing for the newbies. My kiddo told me he never got a good ride and he very rarely "got a push". :-( 2. Some more structured activities. Perhaps incorporate some the "science" stuff - like what Surf Skate Science team does with their schools. 3. Please please please more pictures. Of all the camps we did, I received / saw the least pictures from this camp. Parents LOVE seeing pictures of their kids - Consider adding a Shutterfly account and giving only parents the access code. This would be an incredible value add to the program. 4. Daily recaps / info on how the day went, what was done. Again, especially for parents of younger kids (under 10), this is huge. Doesn't take a lot of time to format a daily email. Appreciate what you all are offering, with some tweaks I think it could be so much better. Wish you all the best of successes.

My son has attended Surf Camp for 4 years now & loves it! There is more to do than just surfing. He loves being outside, playing in the sand & making new friends. The counselors are always amazing & fun!

This year was my son's first time doing surf camp and he absolutely loved it. All the staff were very welcoming and patient with both our questions and after the first morning, he couldn't wait to return the next day. Thank you to everyone that helps make this experience unforgettable and we will definitely be coming back.

This is the third surf camp we’ve attended and it was by far my son’s favorite. The counselors and activities can’t be beat. Thank you for putting on such an unforgettable week. We will be back this summer for sure.

Skate camp with Uli is amazing! My kids both adore him and the camp, and my son keeps going back for every opportunity he can. Uli just knows how to handle the kids, how to have them come out of their shell and feel comfortable, and to ensure everyone has fun! Highly recommend this camp!

My girls love the skateboarding snd surf camp. Toni and Uli from skate camp are super caring, accommodating and provide are warm and welcoming experience.

My daughter had the best week! She loved surf camp very much. The activities were fun and she kept busy the whole day. The counselors were amazing, kind and attentive. She is already talking about going back next summer!!! Thank you , Island camps for such an awesome time!

We have been back for a couple years, first with my son and then with my daughter. Counselors are great and they even have aftercare that's reasonable for those who need it. Great surf camp!

My daughter attended at Deerfield last year and loved it. This year she attended again with her younger sister. Both of my girls were so disappointed. The counselors were organized and attentive but I would call this supervised beach camp. Not surf camp. There wasn’t surf instruction for new surfers and because there are so many kids my daughters said it was too crowded to surf. I did reach out to the camp to give them this feedback and received no response. If your child wants surf instruction there are better options available.

What an amazing camp! The counselors are top notch, personable and caring. I’ve sent my kiddo to Deerfield Beach Surf Camp for 5 years now and couldn’t be happier. The hours are exactly what I am looking for- I’ve literally looked at surf camps all over the state of FL and most offer morning hours only. I love the camp and more importantly my kid and all of his friends love the camp experience they get through IWS. Highly recommend!!

Skate board camp with Yule and Zion was amazing! If we could give it 10 stars we would. Definitely will do it again! My son loved his time at skate board camp this week and felt he got lots of attention and care. It was definitely an experience and very fun! Each day they went to different skate parks from WPB to MIA and each day is & unique different! This is for every kid my son is new to skate boarding and loved it! So weather your kid is new to the sport or has been doing it for a while they will love their time at this camp!
