I
live
an
hour
and
a
half
from
Jonesboro,
AR.
I
do
not
frequent
Sams
Club,
however,
I
do
have
a
membership.
Today,
I
went
to
Sams
Club
to
buy
one
thing
but,
when
I
got
to
the
checkout
I
did
not
have
my
membership
card.
I
was
able
to
pull
my
membership
number
up
online
but,
didn’t
know
how
to
enter
the
number
to
start
my
transaction.
There
was
a
gentleman
with
an
iPad
upfront
and
we
waved
him
over
to
help
us.
We
explained
to
him
that
I
didn’t
have
my
membership
card
but,
had
my
number
and
was
there
any
way
we
could
start
the
transaction
using
the
number.
He
said
“What’s
your
id
number?”
I
showed
him
my
phone.
He
keyed
it
into
his
iPad.
He
read
off
my
address
to
me
and
asked
if
it
was
correct.
I
said
“Yes,
are
you
going
to
mail
me
my
membership
card?”
He
said
“Yes.”
Then
he
said
what’s
your
name.
I
told
him.
He
said
“Okay.
Enter
your
social
here.”
Handed
me
his
iPad
and
walked
off.
I
entered
my
social
and
it
immediately
approved
me
for
a
CREDIT
CARD!
He
said
NOTHING
ABOUT
A
CREDIT
CARD!
He
did
this
without
my
consent!
I
said
“I
didn’t
want
a
credit
card!”
I
went
to
my
car
and
immediately
called
back
into
the
store
to
speak
to
management.
The
manger
was
not
there
but,
they
took
my
name
down
and
number
down
and
told
me
to
call
back
at
4.
I
called
back
and
4
and
explained
the
situation
to
a
lady
on
the
phone.
She
placed
me
on
hold
and
a
gentleman
came
back
on
the
line.
He
let
me
tell
the
entire
story
before
telling
me
that
it
was
him,
the
gentleman
who
signed
me
up
for
the
card.
Started
blaming
me.
Saying
it
was
my
fault.
I
said
“I
need
to
speak
to
a
manager.”
He
said
“I’m
the
manager
in
charge
right
now.”
So,
now
I’m
having
to
up
with
corporate.
There
are
ppl
out
here
trying
to
build
their
credit.
But
homes,
buy
vehicles.
It’s
not
right
for
ppl
to
be
playing
with
things
like
your
credit
for
a
couple
of
bonus
points
for
themselves.
Stormy
gets
a
TEN
for
professionalism
and
customer
courtesy
and
Zane
as
well
but,
Today
was
an
awful
experience
for
me.
