đź‘Ťđź‘Ť This is a very pretty boat ride to get to Navy Pier. They run every 20 minutes, so the wait is never long. The price is currently $8 per adult and $4 per kid. You can sit in the sun or in the shade while you travel.

Awesome service! Great customer service! Get the 24 hour pass. Its great for the inner river and outer loop. Save you alot of time walking. Great way to spend the day.

Seemed like a pretty cheap chance to see the city and the lake ($10 I think from the aquarium to Michigan Ave). It was a beautiful day and hot enough that it felt really nice to get out on the water. Keep in mind, though this is called a taxi, it is not an efficient way to get around the city (It may however be the quickest way to get from the aquarium to the pier) I waited maybe half an hour for the pier to Michigan boat.

Quick and efficient service! We came from the Field Museum and were given quick transport to Navy Pier. There’s outdoor and covered seating, and the crew is good about helping you on board and answering any questions

Super quick and reliable way to get to Navy pier from the museums. Walking is doable but even though it looks so close, know that it’s another 2 miles. So if you’re a little tired from walking all day in the museums, hop aboard the water taxi instead. It is a little pricey if you have a bunch of people. It was about $18 per person. But it was worth it because my wife’s family was visiting and we live right across the street. Views of the city are, of course, stunning as always. The guy boarding passengers isn’t friendly or helpful and seems bitter about something. And it wasn’t just a thing that day. I walk my dog down there and have seen him several times and he always seems like that.

Great experience with Shoreline Chicago Water Taxi. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making it a very convenient choice for transportation. After enjoying lunch at South Branch, my husband and I took the water taxi to Chinatown for a relaxing foot massage. It was a peaceful and reasonably priced journey.

Advertising shows drinks available on board. Not all boats have it. Ours did not.
