If I could give 100 stars I would, amazing people. My daughter caught her first halibut onboard for her graduation trip. Would I book again? Without question, captain Chris and deckhand Hagen were not only amazing hosts, they went above and beyond to make sure we hit the fish. A 127.5 pound halibut welcomed my daughter into the realm of the halibut fishermen. Amazing customer service, absolute professionalism, pure Alaskan hospitality. If you want fish, book with these folks.

I know absolutely nothing about fishing, yet I was able to bring home 70lbs of fish! What an amazing experience it was with Captain Nolan and his trusty deckhand Captain Reece. With halibut and fresh salmon in mind, Captain Nolan, brought us to perfect fishing locations to catch them. Captain Reece was kind enough help me catch the exquisite cod...mhmm tasty. What a legendary day my friends and I had. As I sit reflecting on a day that I surely won't forget I seem to be unable to focus. Why? Because sitting infront of me is a fresh bowl of Ciopinno featuring fresh Alaskan fish. Time to dig in! Thank you Captain Nolan, Captain Reece, and Captain Kristen for the wonderful day. Had an incredible day with Captain Brady and deckhand Cole. We came back with halibut, cod, rockfish and salmon. The boat was full of fish! We enjoyed Brady’s adventurous stories, and his expertise in putting us on the fish. Cole was hardworking and hustled to keep us rigged and catching fish. Thanks guys!

Captain Brady and Cole were so helpful and patient. Got us thru some rough waters on to fish. The Halibut were not cooperative today -that’s why they call it fishing and not catching, only 4 total for the day, but caught LOTS of pacific cod and rock bass. Many times had multiple fish on at once. Thanks for a fun adventure Would definitely book them again!

I had a great experience with Saltwater Excursions today. We filled the boat with halibut, cod, and rockfish. I loved the fact that it was made clear to all that you show up on time, and ready to roll. Captain Brady was professional, competent, and I enjoyed my conversations with him. Cole rocked the deck and was incredibly skilled with the jig rod. Thanks for the awesome day out of Whittier.

Captain Nolan and Reese were great! We caught our one over halibut per person and then caught our limit of 3 silver salmon and a few rock fish and a bright orange vermillion fish. I wish we could have caught two halibut per person but that's fishing. The day was almost warm and calm so nobody had trouble with sea sickness although we wore patches anyway. I wish we would have been told the morning commute was going to be 2 1/2 hours long as non of us expected or knew that. All and all it was an amazing day with great guides. I would recommend them to anyone and do the trip again!

What an incredible experience! We had an AMAZING day with Saltwater Excursions. Six of us went on a shrimping tour out of Whittier and it went above and beyond any expectations! It was an overcast day, and we were thankful for the heated cabin. Kristen and Nick we're amazing! Not only did we get fresh shrimp, but we saw SO much wildlife. I loved how Kristen not only pointed out the wild life, but circled back so we could get a better look. We also got fresh ice from a glacier. Hands down an incredible trip, I wouldn't have changed a thing. The fresh shrimp we got to enjoy after was awesome!

A few weeks my boyfriend and I came up from Louisiana to fish some halibut. Mark and Hagen put us on some serious fish! We had the best time and we can’t wait to come back and do it all over again!

Another amazing day with Saltwater Excursions. I’ve fished with Kristen and her crew for over 5 years and have never been disappointed. Reliable boat, savvy captains and awesome deckhands. Definitely a 5 star operation.

High quality experience. Hagen was awesome and fun to be around while also working really hard to make our experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. The Captain was Mark, or Marcus, or Mathias, or Methuselah, I can't qute remember ;-) but he did a great job and was a lot of fun to laugh with and enjoy a day out on the Sound. Knowledgeable, quality personalities and genuine laughter throughout the day. Definitely recommend.

FISH ON!!!! My wife and I went Halibut fishing with Saltwater Excursions on 5/21 while visiting from Texas and it was an absolute blast! Not only did we catch a lot of fish, we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The crew aboard the Saltwater Addiction was awesome, CA Chris and DH Hagen we’re extremely helpful and kind to everyone. 12 out of 10 would recommend them!

Couldn't have asked for a better day on the sea. We had perfect weather and the seas were very calm. Captain Chris and Hagen were extremely knowledgeable and accommodated us in every way we needed and were extremely helpful to us; not to mention the perfect balance of serious and humorous. For my first deep sea fishing expedition, it was a massive success. I would definitely recommend Saltwater Excursions if you want to get a good haul of some delicious fish.

We fished for the first time in Alaska with Saltwater Excursions charter. Kristin was a pleasure to speak with on the phone and explained the refund policy, what we needed to bring, how to obtain a fishing license and bring the fun. Chris, the captain and Hagen, the deckhand were our crew. We had a awesome time! Chris humor is great! Hagen worked his butt off working with 6 people and when he moves get out of his way.
