    Owing to the sheer number of positive reviews, I initially chose Lake to diagnose and/or repair my ailing fridge. They couldn't get me scheduled earlier than a week out . . . much too long to go without a working refrigerator. Despite that, I was fairly convinced that Lake had the edge in experience, and proceeded to get on their schedule . . . until I was informed that their initial call-out charge was $140 just to come out and provide an estimate. This was all the more insulting when you consider that Lake is a mere 3.7 miles from my home. I ultimately found a much better alternative with another service who came the next day and provided a thorough examination and diagnosis that ultimately saved me a great deal of time, money and peace of mind. While I don't want to appear to be advertising my ultimate choice by identifying them by name, let's just say that they are appliance experts.

    Our tech Steven was excellent! Very knowledgeable and professional. Our ice maker stopped working and he was able to diagnose the problem and determine we would need a new one. I advised him we would be leaving on vacation and would be gone 3 weeks. He said no problem and that he would order the new ice maker and have it delivered to his house and keep for us until our return. They scheduled an appointment the very first business day after our return. During the install, he suggested that we also have our condenser unit cleaned which will extend the life of the refrigerator. Never would have thought to do that. It was actually very dirty and needed cleaning. Thanks for the great service Steven and Lake Appliance!

    I really do hate giving this company a one star review, but management is leaving me no choice. I have used this company on a few occasions over the past 6 years. However this time they are less than interested in making things right for me. On Friday August 5th the tech came out to our home to replace the pump in our dishwasher (nevermind the fact that they committed to having this work done for us by 7/29, because we were hosting a party of 100 guests on 7/31). When I got home I noticed that the dishwasher wasn't sitting properly in the opening. When I took a closer look I noticed that the tech didn't screw the dishwasher into the bottom of the rough top, both brackets were just sitting there. Then I noticed that the cover plate at the bottom of the dishwasher only had one of the two screws installed, causing the bottom plate to not sit flush and one side be kicked out from beneath the cabinet. I called them right away, they could not give me an answer while I was on the phone as to when a tech could finish the job they started. When I did get a return phone call they stated that couldn't have the tech back out until 8/26, that 3 weeks of living with a DW that is not mounted and when the trays have dishes in them and slide them out to add dishes the entire dishwasher wants to fall out of the cabinet! I called back after listening to the voicemail stating that they would be back on the 26th and asked to speak with a manager, after 3 days I called back this morning and explained to the gentleman on the phone that if I didn't get a call back by lunch I would forced to write reviews on my experience, well guess what they obviously didn't call, nor do they seem to care about customer service. I understand that mistakes happen, however the measure of a company is how they respond to issues that they have created. AVOID THIS COMPANY, IT IS NOT AS GOOD AS THEY ONCE WERE.

    We always have a great experience with Lake Appliance. Steven was awesome. He was quick to diagnose the issue, knew the parts that needed to be replaced and ordered it for us and the repair was efficiently done. We highly recommend this company for your appliance repair needs. 😊

    Many thanks to Lake Appliance and Scott. He was very efficient and effective at diagnosing our new refrigerator issue. It turns out that GE made an error in positioning a harness near the fan assembly. Scott was able to diagnose and repair inside 30 minutes. Thanks again for a job very well done.

    Richard was knowledgeable, polite and professional. He did his best to fix our refrigerator problem. Lake appliance was also polite and responsive. I will use them for all my appliance repairs!

    Received pleasant, professional, and prompt service from Lake Appliance. Steven was great explaining what I should expect with parts being ordered and follow up to repair our dryer. Everyone I spoke with on the phone during this process was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Lake Appliance.

    There was a huge delay in getting the part we needed but once the factory finally shipped the part, Richard came in a few days and did a great job. He was responsive, let us know in the morning what time he’d be here, showed up on time and did a great job! We’re beyond excited to finally have a working machine.

    My refrigerator had stopped working and the Whirlpool service center connected me with Lake Appliance. They quickly set up a convenient appointment time with me within 24 hours. Steven arrived right on time and was quickly able to diagnose and remedy to problem. He kept me posted on progress and clearly explained the issue to me and how to prevent it in the future. Charges were clearly laid out and agreed before each step was taken with no surprises. My house was left tidy once the work was complete and I will definitely use Lake Appliance again in the future.

    I had moved into a place with an older washer dryer unit that I found out were 19 years old. I knew they were out of date but I needed a consultation to understand what condition they were in and whether they could be given away in good conscience. due to the lucky circumstance of already being in the area for another customer, Scott was able to come by my remote location a week earlier than originally promised and spent a good amount of time examining the machine and then showing me everything that he had learned. I got lots of great advice about the likely lifetime of this machine and what I could do to make it usable to myself or the next owner. Even though there was no repair needed Scott took the time to give me lots of time and attention which really made the service fee for the visit worthwhile.

    Oscar from Lake Appliance came out to do warranty work on behalf of Whirlpool. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. He let me know when he was on the way, and he was respectful of both my home and my time. I'm glad these guys have the contract to service Whirlpool. I would definitely recommend.

    It can be a source of frustration when your refrigerator suddenly stops cooling. However, my experience with this particular company was a positive one. The office staff that I spoke with were all very understanding and kind. They recognized the importance of my refrigerator to my family and worked around my busy schedule to make the repair process less stressful. To my surprise, the technician arrived with the required part and fixed my unit the same day. It's reassuring to see that there are still companies that value their customers and are committed to providing exceptional service.

The company kept me informed with dates and times for the part to arrive so it could be installed. They were the third company that LG sent out.     We have used Lake in the past for warranty work and have always been satisfied. This time, our refer was out of warranty. Tyler came and was very courteous and professional. Listened to what the problem was and went about checking it out. As usual, it wasn't acting up while he was here. He gave us some theories and now we will watch it more closely. So far it's been a few weeks and nothing. We feel Lake Appliance is competent and honest and will not hesitate to call again.

    Scott was very knowledgeable and helpful. We needed some help while waiting for part to arrive and he called and gave us the requested advice. He was prompt, pleasant, and the notification system was helpful in tracking arrival time. He is very knowledgable and helpful and I feel, very trustworthy which is important since unfortunately, the washing machine repairs would cost more than a replacement machine. I would not hesitate to use Lake Appliance again

    Whirlpool chose this company to repair our dishwasher. They re-scheduled the appointment 4 times over 2 months, usually on the day of the appointment. They tried to schedule again for a month out. We had to go back to whirlpool and choose a different contractor. If you want something repaired, choose someone else.

    Changed my review, my dishwasher had issues less than 24 hours later and ran for 3 hours as well as leaked all over. I called immediately and was told the original situation was handled and that i would need a new case # ..and woukd hear back from them... After a week I called and asked to please have it handled. I was told it be a priority repair and that they would work around my schedule of 8 am and 10am as my kids have school and I have work. I have sat waiting on the tech since 8am only to find out when I called, that they rescheduled my appointment to 2-4pm, without notice.. which doesn't work with my schedule now, and they are saying they may have to reschedule all together as the tech has other jobs to get done . Editing to Add: Steven the tech is and has been fantastic! As well as Jessica,the times I have called and had the opportunity to speak to her, its been positiveand helpful. She is beyond kind and accommodating

    Richard was thorough, professional and knowledgeable. He solved the problem and even identified an electrical problem which was beyond the scope of fixing my dishwasher. He ensured my safety by turning off the electrical fuses. He even petted my slightly evil cat :-).

    We recently purchased a Frigidaire oven and unfortunately had a lot of issues with it. The technician Scott was very understanding, patient, kind and knowledgeable. He did everything in his power so I could bake cookies with my toddler. Thank you so much Scott for going above and beyond! I highly recommend :)

    Lake appliance diagnosed my whirlpool refrigerator and stated that the reason my refrigerator is not cold/freezing, was due to compressor fail. Installed compressor and refrigerator still not working. They came out to evaluate again. This time they said evaporator coils were the issue. They replaced and the fridge is still not working. Repair request started 8/5/2022 and today it’s 11/13/2022. I still have no fridge working. At this point it’s time to buy a new fridge. Cannot understand how a business with a lack of urgency and customer service is still in business.

    Ok so if I could rate our technician, he would be 6 stars out of 5. Lake appliance was sorta difficult to work with in the sense I was trying to get ahold of them for about a month. Our dishwasher broke under warranty and at first they were responsive and mailed the needed parts to our home. But after we received the parts in the mail, Lake was radio silent for over a month, despite multiple texts and voicemails to them. When Scot arrived, he was a hero! It just sucked having a broken dishwasher for over a month.
