I need to find a better Doctor. Dr. Girgis needs to retire, the office is horrible at getting in touch with, and systems where down when I went for bloodwork so I had to reschedule my appointment which made it for a month out because she was booked. Then they say I need to get lab work a week before appointment to discuss lab work. Well I go in for lab work and they tell me an order for labs hasn’t been placed and they want me to reschedule AGAIN! This seals the deal for me as I’ve never had a good experience with this office or company.

If you want to experience the worst customer service, and speak to employees who can care less about helping you get the services you require … then THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! If you want to waste two months of your life trying to set up appointments with no follow up calls, no confirmations from this ridiculous clinic, then THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! This has been two months wasted trying to hire services from this absurd clinic, and the clowns that work here. Trust me when I say DONT WASTE your time and money here, these companies are supposed to care and help you …. This place has definitely failed. Me and my partner have tried to set up an IMPORTANT appointment for our family… this is our second attempt as well. One month later (which is today) our appointment was scheduled for 3:30pm phone call (VERY IMPORTANT). . Well, for some reason this clinic DECIDED it was their choice to go ahead and change the appointment time for 2:00pm instead without notification. Me and my partner left work early to make sure we didn’t Miss the deadline. After we waited 30 min later … we called and asked what happened, the employees at this clinic basically said there’s nothing they can do, and we would have to wait another month JUST to schedule a appointment. We decided to hang up, and warn everyone not to come here.

I have always came here since I was smaller and have always had dr.gergis see me. I have not had many pleasant times. When I was 15 my mother took me to get a physical and I myself had told the nurse I was not comfortable changing into the gown and she told me I could keep my clothes on and still have dr.girgis do my physical. When she came in the room she asked how I was doing along with the following " why are you scared to get undressed? If I were a guy you probably wouldn't have any problem taking off your clothes." My mother who was in the room unfortunately did not catch what she had told me and at the time I did not know how to speak up for myself. I think back to that moment now wishing I had spoken up and talked to someone in charge about it. For a doctor to say something like that to a teen I don't think that was necessary and it was very unprofessional on her side. As far as I know she still works here as a doctor, I hope there aren't more women or teens for that matter having to go through something as I did.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! Dr. Girgis is awful! Condescending and disrespectful! She should not be in practice any more, she’s also racist, told my mother she should stop eating tortillas because of her diabetes, how does she know my mother eats tortillas? Because she’s Hispanic? Never will I or my mother go back there again.

My Mother went to CentoMed on October 10, 2023. She was admitted to the hospital for her heart and lungs. She spent a week at the hospital. She was supposed to be seen by the CentroMed doctor. They have canceled 3 times. I suggested they canceled someone else's appointment that is not life threatening. They were rude and said they could give her appointment for November 15th. I asked where else could we take her but they were not interested in helping up. I asked if someone canceled their appointment to please call us. They said no. They said call in the morning. I'm disappointed and upset.

My first visit was actually fine though I had to wait 40 mins after my appointment time until I was seen. The actual visit was pleasant and the doctor I saw was attentive and nice to talk with. The reason for the 1 star rating is for the urine and blood tests, and follow up. I only had blood drawn and the lab told me I could leave right after, so I asked the front desk if they needed anything else and they confirmed I did not. I went home and was left a message to come back in asap to "finish my labs" as they needed a urine test. Unfortunately remembering things and ADHD do not mix well. I went back in 2 days later to have my lab done and was told I'd be charged for this visit, despite it being their mistake for sending me home. Regardless, I needed a refill on my meds so I reluctantly paid the amount and got it over with. I called in every other day for the last week until just now to ask about when the labs would be done, when I would have my meds refilled, etc. Low and behold I find out today that the doctor who had said I would have a REFILL (not a first time filling of this prescription) done after the labs were in has instead referred me to a psychiatrist. I've now wasted about 4 total hours on the phone since the start of this, and a lot of money and time just to get a refill on a medication I had already been taking. Now I'm out of my needed meds and money. All in all the actual nurses working with the doctor, as well as the lab tech were nice to talk to. The front desk and 'manager' of the front desk, not so much. There's no direct phone number to this clinic as only the main number is listed, meaning you have to wait on a 50-70 minute hold for all of San Antonio area TX in order to reach your specific clinic. The way my medical issue was handled is by far the 2nd worst I've had any clinic handle an issue before, and I'm now infuriated. Get insurance, find ANY other clinic except for live oak health partners or centromed and be done with it.

Terrible scheduling service. They’ve cancelled my appointment twice without notifying me and I’ve had to miss work both times since they didn’t notify me.

Poor customer service. I went there this morning for my first time, I was late with 2mins and my appointment was canceled and moved to July. This lady at the front desk was talking to me and chewing gums. I will never go back there

I loved the place, everything was organized. They treated me very well. I don't speak much English and they helped me with another person in Spanish. The girl was very friendly. The girl gave me an x-ray referral and the place was also very friendly. They treated me very quickly. It is in an emergency hospice. I recommend it. Thanks to this place Centro Med for the good service and I called customer service in Spanish several times and everything was fine. Thank God and very kind to me…. And the best thing is 4 minutes from my house, my primary doctor Myriam Hinojosa is excellent and has fabulous treatment and speaks Spanish. The place I loved everything organized they took care of me super well I don't speak much English and they helped me with another person in Spanish very friendly the girl gave me referred x-rays and the place also very friendly they and they took care of me very fast is in a hosp emergency I recommend it thanks to this place center med for the good attention and I called several times to. And the best is 4 minutes from my house my primary doctor Myriam Hinojosa excellent and a fabulous treatment and speaks Spanish
