The manager of this store, Chris (this is a woman) was the rudest most unprofessional service person I have ever dealt with. This store sent ONE man to deliver 2 pieces of carpet (12'x21') that he could not bring into our home alone. They should have known before they sent him that he could not handle these by himself due to the weight of the carpet and the size. Fortunately, we happened to be getting a Federal Express delivery at exactly the same time and the man was kind enough to help him. We are 45 minutes away from the store and we did them a favor instead of sending the truck back, I paid the Fed Exp man to help. We were charged a delivery fee of $75.00. I asked for a refund of the $75.00 fee, after spending over $2,000.00 this time at that store and several thousands on a prior purchase. This is an incremental amount when compared with the total purchases we've made at this store. Chris, the manager, literally called me a liar when I told her I paid the Fed Exp man to help. I said I wasn't satisfied and she offered NOTHING to resolve our dissatisfaction. Instead, she very condescendingly said "this conversation is over" and hung up on me. I will be quickly passing the word around not to use this store unless she no longer works there. The other people we dealt with were very good at their jobs, and the delivery man was very kind. I felt bad for him!

The DC has a nice showroom, it's worth the visit if you've never been there. Items are a little pricey, but they do keep quality items in their store. DC Coffee and Tea is their little cafe at the end of the building. It's a a cozy and inviting little lunch bistro, you should definitely check it out if you're in town. Fresh, delicious food, fast service.

Wow! What an incredible showroom!! We've been so fortunate to work with Christine Rantz and her talented team. We've purchased several items from comfortable sofas and chairs to beautiful kitchen tables and decor. We're really pleased with The Decorating Center!

Our new flooring is absolutely beautiful. Jeff, Tim and Josiah are the best. Very pleasant, very meticulous with everything. We will definitely be calling on the Decorating Center for future projects!

It’s been a while since I was there, so take this with a grain of salt. The quality was very good. The pricing - not so much. I actually spoke to the owner, and he was mildly rude about it. It’s nicely laid out, though, so at least it’s a nice place to window shop.

Very disappointed, got a price quote on a table and chairs in writing. When to order it and Chris wouldn't honor it because SHE made a mistake! Sorry not my fault

I recently renovated my kitchen. After getting pricing and talking with several local companies I decided on using The Decorating Center. The cabinets were of good quality and the price was better than competitors. I worked with Steve Ishler. He was great! Very personable and not rude like staff at other outfits. He even dropped sample boards and items off at the house on his own time. The Decorating Center has a good selection and I found the employees to be friendly and helpful. Overall, I have to say it was a very good experience.

They have some great furniture and other country decor, a little pricey like any other small business trying to make it through these days of inflation.
