I love the idea of beauty store in the front and salon in the back! It's Black Woman Owned too! They've done my cornrows on 2 different occasions and I love them! Price is great, store is clean, and music selection is on point! Definitely recommend them!

Nadine did an excellent job with my cornrows! She was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Lys' secret! I will definitely be going again.

Called in to express my dissatisfaction with the entire experience and none of my complaints were taken into consideration. The owner was more focused on arguing with me, a paying customer instead of taking accountability to find a solution, which is extremely classless and tacky. Owner needs to seriously revaluate her morals and business ethics. There are way better salons owners out there that carry themselves in a professional manner and will go the extra mile. This place is overall not worth spending your money at. I will never be coming back to this salon again.

We walked in to buy hair. No employees greeted us for the first 10 minutes of walking around in circles cause their selection is so small and limited. As we were looking my niece had to use the restroom the lady just walked away and looked to have an attitude that we needed to use the restroom. We were still going to buy product from them. Only for my niece to leave the bathroom and that rude lady went to go check it after her. And then the last straw was the dirty looks we kept receiving while shopping which had originally started when we first walked in. They’re more focused on their salon in the back and not with the store up front. Just poor attitude all around never coming back.

The braider was really nice. Nice customer service here. I purchased human hair bundles and got my hair done three days before my trip. I moisturized and platted the hair up and kept it wrapped for those next three days and the night before going on my trip, I combed through the hair, however, two hours later, the hair kept matting. Through my entire vacation, the hair matted, shedded, and kept drying despite moisturizing and detangling it. This is the hair 1 week after getting it done. I had to cut it off because the matting was atrocious. There wasn’t much human hair bundle options to choose from. I spent $165 on two bundles, money down the drain

2nd time here, definitely looking to patronize "black owned" businesses. Everything was priced so high!!! I purchased more hair just incase I needed extra and when I asked if I could bring back any "Unopened" hair for exchange or return I received a dead head shake "no". I didn't feel a receptive energy. Unfortunately I will not be returning a 3rd time.

I’ve been to this shop a few times for the last few years and every time I come, what I ask for is exactly what I get. I especially love that the braiders aren’t too firm while braiding as I’m tender-headed.
