This two story fitness center stands above all other planet fitness establishments I have ever been to. For starters, walking in you can tell this facility was well cared for and maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. The equipment was clean and like new. The elliptical, treadmills and other aerobic equipment were equipped with a personal TV. I can think of no better place to exercise.

Gym is always dirty. There are never any paper towels and cleaning spray, especially come the weekend, which in turn causes patrons to not be able to clean the equipment or they just don’t want to waste their time running around the gym locating cleaning supplies. The excuse is always “we are completely out”. There is always a wait for the tanning beds because they “need to be cleaned”. The tanning beds are always covered in filmy residue as if they were not cleaned, even after being “cleaned”. Management is literally never here and it shows. Children basically run this place and are always hanging out either at the tables or behind the desk on their phones. I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness since 2011 in MS, FL & now the Cleveland area. Ive been to many Planet Fitnesses around the U.S. while traveling. I recently moved to the east side and became a member of the South Euclid location which has me highly considering canceling my membership.

Edit from Two Months Later: it’s Monday. A 24 hour day for Planet Fitness. I arrived at 4am. No one is there. Not a single light. Again when you call…nothing. Ridiculous. Two Months Ago: I am not in the business of giving poor reviews. Especially for a play I enjoy and frequent. I understand there are staffing issues and shortages, which is why on the weekends when the club doesn’t open up at 7 AM exactly and usually opens up slightly after or by 730. I don’t pay that much mind however, that is much different today. It’s 9 AM. No one has arrived to open. There is no indication of when it will open. I love close and can swing back. I ran errands for two hours and still nothing. 2 hours late is beyond ridiculous. There’s not even an automated voice message when you call.

NO ONE WAS WEARING A MASK What a let down, a huge space absolutely covered in treadmills and ellipticals, but they couldn't spare the budget for a simple barbell or hex bar... The dumbbell station is also tiny and hidden in the corner let's just say that their absolute focus is on cardio, and even then, only when that means treadmill and elliptical. The price is right, I guess... So 2 stars it is. Also no towels, like 3 benches total, and only one person working there when I visited... Not a welcoming experience in the slightest.

Sitting here in the parking lot at 7:35 a.m. on Sunday morning. Not open. Can't call to hear a message of any kind. The phone just rings then hangs up on you. Same result with the so-called corporate phone number. UPDATE: 8:45 a.m. still sitting here! I CAN'T BELIEVE A MANAGER HASN'T SHOWN UP YET! Another patron called another Planet Fitness location for some assistance.. Kudos to him for walking to each car and giving an update.

In the midst of a global pandemic, people are lounging around chilling out without a mask on. Staff does not care and when I spoke to the manager TJ told me to leave if I didn’t like it. With that attitude he’s not even qualified to order the monthly pizza. Not worth the money or the risk when you have so many other options these days.

Awful tanning and massage chairs. Management is nonexistent. Last few times I had to beg the children behind the front desk to wait on me for a tanning bed. Some red head kid just stood there bouncing a ball. I would suggest the Randall location. Much more attentive staff and great tanning and massage chairs

I’ve been going to this location for almost two years. There must have been a change in management over the past few months because the quality, cleanliness, and amount of staff has gone up significantly. They’re constantly cleaning, very welcoming when you walk in/out, and helpful. My only complaint would be that we need more mirrors! Everyone crowds the area or seeks out certain cable machines in order to watch form. That would be great!

I still shop at Aldi's even though they change up a lot of different things the main thing I love about all these when you buy things from there and break down far as exercise equipment blenders and other things they know that it came from their store and they will give you a refund or replacement

I have been going to gyms for 25 years. I love this place! It's clean, people are respectful and wipe down machines and rack weights, the staff is helpful and always friendly, and I love my black card free massage chairs🤣. There is a healthy mix of experienced and beginner lifters, so I'm comfortable and so are my kids. I can't recommend this place enough

Not a social atmosphere. No shower facilities for disabled persons. small lockers. No vending machines. Nowhere throughout the facility to sit and rest besides the lobby. I am updating this rating based on the canned automated response from the "owner" of the facility. Which did not address any of my issues. Mask wearing is not being enforced. I would say about 25% of the people had their masks in the down position or didn't have one at all. Cuyahoga County is close to going from purple to red on the Ohio Covid alert system. I want to emphasize that all staff were wearing their masks I am only talking about members. As far as the showers are concerned, I cannot believe that you would build a brand-new facility and not make room for an ADA shower facility. The Cleveland Heights recreation center which was built 30 years ago has enough room to fit wheelchair into the shower and be able to transfer to the bench, take a shower with a hose sprayer at the right height. Maybe not many people can do it, but it should be made available to them.

Why on December 17th 2023 6:30 pm on a Sunday the doors were locked and the employees are having a dinner party telling us to come back tomorrow morning? Why can’t the dinner party be at another location not during business hours!? So many of us came here for no reason and we’re all pissed. None of us were notified about this being closed nor was it on the holiday schedule.

I challenge you to find a worse gym. I've been using the Black Card membership to workout at the many PF locations -- I've been to perhaps 9 or 10, this location is without comparison the WORST. For the last 6 months I've been through here... I was surprised to find the screen attached to each treadmill was... literally 3 feet to the right, attached to another machine. The ENTIRE ROW of 12 treadmills is aligned with the screen 3 feet to the right. At the outset I just figured they were moving things around. 6 months later I realized - everybody who works at this gym dgaf. I've already mentioned how absurd it is to attach each treadmill to the screen on the adjacent screen... 3 times over 6 months... this morning I woke up at 3 am by accident, went to this gym, and decided I literally cannot take it anymore. A few hours of work (by the staff or mgmt or ownership) could save hundreds of gym members from needing a chiropractor readjustment... literally no gym in America aligns each treadmill with the screen to the adjacent machine. In related news, the men's locker room smells like an ACTUAL OUTDOOR LATRINE. My suggestion is checkout Esporta fitness in Legacy Village before signing up here, only go to this place if you wanna remind yourself you suck and aren't even deserving of a "normal" gym. (Also I just read through the "positive" reviews of this gym... and those reviews aren't legit. Walk through the place and find out for yourself)

Dumbbells only go up to 80 lbs and no traditional weight benches...free weights as a whole really lacking, NO squat rack! They only have free standing benches for DB work and Smith machines. No preacher curls, no Hex-bar.

Good workout location. No Frills Lockers in the locker room are on the small side. Plenty of machines for workout. No track, no pool, no sauna. But if you're just looking for a good workout this is a great place

There are never paper towels in stock. I even emailed the manager about this months ago and this problem persists. Anticipate the demand when placing your orders because nothing is more important than cleanliness at a facility where people get sweaty and spread germs all over the place.

I recently moved into the area and started a membership here. This is a very new establishment, having opened in 2018 so EVERYTHING is new and in perfect working condition. There are plenty of machines and open space for creative workouts. The location is fantastic. The staff here is very considerate and mind their own business. They walk around to clean the area but do not get in the way of anyone working out. Very friendly folks! Gym is very clean and has ample cleaning stations.

The staff is friendly. It's clean. Sometimes the paper towels and hand sanitizer need replenishing. People are focused on fitness and not fashion. And it is really convenient to my home. As a female, the men are very appropriate. It's a great place to work out!

I really hope someone reads this and takes action. The facility is nice, there’s an adequate amount of equipment. Sometimes the machines are down, but they have them fixed in a timely manner, but there is a lot of dust, dirt and buildup on the machines which has caused my allergies to flare every time I go! if I can see the buildup on all of the machines that your staff should see it too and someone needs to clean it.

The gentleman at the front desk on September 27th I go in to sign up. The advertisement says O zero enrollment fee. When I go to sign up I have my debit card. He says he can’t take that he needs my routing and account number. I said I would prefer to pay month to month or just have it taken from my debit card he says I can’t do that but says I can buy a day pass for 25 bucks and then when I have my routing number he will not charge me for the first month. So I do this then come back with the info and the story changes to the day pass was so he wouldn’t charge me a start up fee. But I explained and showed him that there is a zero enrollment special and he explains that I still have to pay 17 dollars prorated for the 3 days left in the month then the day pass he repeats covers my start up which makes no sense then he says I will also be charged 52 dollars in two months. While explaining I can go month to mo to and there is no commitment and no fees then tells me there are fees and that it is annual. So essentially what was advertised Zero down and first month was really 25 down 17 for three days and then 25 and then 52. So it went from zero down to 100 ish

Great Planet Fitness! Only complaint is the parking lot lights don’t come on at night, which is a little unsettling. But, the staff is friendly and the gym is clean, never too packed. Things get fixed relatively fast.

2 weeks ago between 3&4am I walked into the female picker room. Upon entering the shower area I noticed one of your male employees sitting in the stall. He was wearing his uniform with an old pair of Nikes. This morning, I arrived between 4-5am and the same employee was in his phone while sitting on the bench. He spoke and continued to sit there. I can tell he is becoming comfortable being in the female locker room during these hours which makes every woman I have spoken with very uncomfortable. The sign "male employee cleaning locker room," was posted, but he was not cleaning.

A couple months ago, I ended my membership at LA Fitness in Legacy. Since then, I been mostly just doing yoga classes, walking frequently, and horseback riding for my primary exercise. However, after Thanksgiving, I felt the desire to have a "home" gym and start making fitness a bigger part of my daily routine. I decided one day to join Planet Fitness after some close friends of mine on the west side, told me great things about it. I can certainly now agree with them. Specifically, this Planet Fitness gym location has been nothing but a wonderful experience for me. The gym is super clean and the equipment works great. The staff here is actually approachable, genuine, and helpful. The workout classes are beneficial and I feel supported and comfortable when the trainer helps me. Plus, the spa is the cherry on the cake. Overall, this gym is the best "bang" for buck in terms of joining a really good fitness gym. I am so impressed with this fitness location and hope nothing but the best for them in their future business endeavors.

South Euclid location might be my favorite PF I've ever been too. I've only gone to Willlowick and Mentor before and now I only want to go here. It's close to work for me so that's helpful. I love the layout of this PF, and the Spa Room is fabulous. Best deal for everything you could want in a gym. And all the employees I've come across have been super helpful and friendly.

Horrible experience! My husband signed up for a membership with them 1.5 months ago and he wanted to cancel 10 days ago to avoid the annual fees since we found out we’re moving, but they told him he doesn’t need to do it until June 10th and we were surprised they deducted 40$ from our credit card today! So basically they misled us and conned us in paying almost 90$ for just 2 ms, and now we have to cancel it because we’re moving anyways. Horrible experience and treatment and the manager wasn’t helpful even though we explained that we clearly went to the branch and tried canceling the subscription and the staff told us we don’t need to now. Very irresponsible and we feel fooled!

I just joined 3 months or so ago. Since I’ve noticed that the ladies locker room has not been as clean as when I first joined. Maybe more women need to be hired. Also, if paper towels could be in the ladies locker room that would be a plus. Lastly, the scanner on the cardio machines to track your workouts doesn’t work on most of the machines. I’d like to have that info for my fitness journey. It’s such a great feature! Sadly, my trainer moved on and no longer works there but he was a great motivator and helped this review make it a 5! Overall I’m pleased.

I tried to cancel my membership because I am deploying with the Army. The best they could tell me is that I have to be there in person or send a letter in the mail. That is ridiculous. I have multiple friends that have tried to cancel and planet fitness just doesn’t care that you can’t always be there. This business is the worst and the customer service is subpar to literally every local competitor that they have.

This location is very extensive. It has two levels and so many options of machines to use. Even though this is only my second location I have visited, it is superior to the last gym that I frequented. There is a spa area, multiple areas with great machinery. It also is continously cleaned and well provided for.

The workers are critically unprofessional. (Zel the shift lead, in particular) I had a small issue about cancellation this morning at 10 am, and asked for a manager only to be informed that there wasn’t a manager available until 9 am tomorrow, and that there wasn’t anyone they could call to help. I even had to ASK them to look up my membership to get the information that they were requesting from me. The most basic customer service was not shown. There was no effort made whatsoever to correct the situation. To add insult, they were rude. Unacceptable customer service.

I appreciate how Planet Fitness are trying to protect their customers from the covid-19 virus. I went inside Planet Fitness gym to see what safety measures they put in place. I wasn't sure if I should go ahead and cancel my membership or should I continue to work out at the gym. I was very impressed and felt comfortable going back to the to get some exercise which I so desperately need right now!😊

I haven’t gone to this gym in months because of the pandemic. I was told not to worry, I wouldn’t be charged, my account would be suspended. Suddenly I get hit with the annual charge. They should have sent calls out warning of this charge. After being unemployed for months due to the pandemic I can’t afford to waste $40 towards a gym I don’t even attend. When I explained my situation they were unwilling to help me. I’m very disappointed that in unusual times like this, a company is choosing greed over what is right.

Hands down the best gym in the area for the price. Puts LA Fitness to shame. Always clean, and they fix things quicker then LA Fitness. The people who workout here are way more respectful. Love the location and space but recently observed downturn in service. Recognize hours changed from 24 hours to 5am on weekdays but few times when facility has not opened. Eg. 12/22 its 5.30 and facility still not open since 5am. Has happened few times on weekend at 7am Often see equipment not restocked with paper towels or sanitizer for days even though just opened. Update I called club and in fact it was opened late... not a change in hours.... There were Tons of ppl waiting to use facility so this was not a covid related xhange. .. .

Overall the gym is pretty clean, though during peak hours their paper dispensers and cleaning sprays sometimes run out. They also close at 9pm Friday and Saturdays which is pretty annoying. I wish they at least closed at 10pm if they aren't going to be open 24 hours.

I think I need a new gym. This is the 5th-6th Planet Fitness I have been to at this point and they are all set up in the stupidest ways. they have 3 benches that everyone uses for squat & bench that are full 100% of the time. The free weight section is 15 feet across with 1 mirror that everyone is constantly trying to find mirror space in. Their calf machine is the worst calf machine on planet earth, o and my favorite THEY HAVE NO SCALE this is like a childs gym, fine if you're just trying to exercise, but if you really want a gym, you'd be better off going to ESPORTA down the street.
