I can't say enough good things about FWCJ. I was proposed to in Nov 2021 with an emerald engagement ring from Brilliant Earth. After a month of having my ring and just working from home, the center stone fell out. Brilliant Earth was wishy-washy about covering the re-setting of the stone that shouldn't have fallen out in the first place. I agreed to have Brilliant Earth re-set the stone, but heard horror stories online of their poor workmanship. I made an appointment with Sean at FWCJ for the day after getting my ring back from BE. He was so kind, understanding, and helpful. He took one look at my newly re-set ring and was able to tell the stone would keep falling out. He explained how the prongs were supposed to function and the faults in BE's design and craftsmanship that led to this. He then showed us on the microscope so we could see for ourselves. He recommended two different options to reinforce the ring and we settled on having the entire head/prongs reset in white gold (10x stronger than yellow gold) and creating a mixed-metal look for my ring. He was not pushy about getting the work done, just made honest and reasonable recommendations based on our wants and needs. Once we decided to get started with the re-set, it ended up being ready sooner than we thought. While working on my ring, they noticed some side prongs holding the small diamond accents were not in ideal condition from the original construction and they fixed them at no cost. The quality of the work is great, my ring looks like it should have when we first received it. If I had known about Federal Way Custom Jewelers at the time and could do everything over again, I would have recommended my fiancé go to FWCJ originally to purchase my engagement ring. We are so thankful to work with a jeweler that is honest, reasonable, and produced beautiful quality work. We will definitely be back for any future jewelry needs and definitely for our wedding bands next year!

I had the best experience w/Brandon this week. I brought inherited jewelry and some of my own to learn about and decide if I wanted to keep to sell. He was very considerate and the whole experience felt very genuine and professional. My gold and silver items were weighed (another jeweler I had been to earlier in the week did not do this). Notes were made, explanations and some historical information was given as well as his opinion on whether I should keep the item or sell based on what he would buy it for and resell it for. I was never pressured in any way and left feeling without any doubt that I had made the right decision and that the money I recieved for some treasures was very fair. The only regret I have is I did not come here 1st with my other jewelry I sold earlier this week.

I came in to get my rings resized before my wedding. I was treated like royalty, they were so kind! I got my rings back in the time frame they gave me. Very satisfied!

You go to a rock show; you see an incredible specimen of whatever and think - that would make a great piece of jewelry. Then you stop, but how? Many of us have the perfect rock in a drawer somewhere. This is my go-to store. First for stuff they already have, stones they have chosen and set or stones that you can choose and set. But they are also open to setting your stone and enjoy the creative process. If you are within driving distance of Federal Way WA, this is worth a visit.

I was looking for a trustworthy place to sell some older family jewelry. I have been in twice now. Both times, Brandon was amazing. He is knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything about the jewelry and why the pieces were worth certain prices. He even told me what I should hang on to for a while because I wouldn't get enough for them. Man oh man! I didn't expect to love a jeweler as much as I love this place. I inherited some of my grandma's jewelry. I have never had real jewelry before so I just set up an appointment to go over what I received as well as if the pieces were real, etc... Brandon and the staff at FWCJ are so incredible. Brandon helped create and source both my wedding and my engagement ring - it was a fabulous experience. I've now moved away, but I still come and have my ring cleaned and checked by Brandon and his team whenever I'm in the Seattle area. These guys were able to Frankenstein my wife’s engagement ring in a way no other jeweler could. After stopping by multiple other shops, seeing if they could set a larger stone in the original ring with a new custom setting, I was repeatedly told it couldn’t be done. Federal Way Custom Jewelers was happy to help me though, and it came out 100% immaculate! They actually saved me money in the process too, and my wife loves the new setup. Big thanks to these guys for being excellent at their trade and reasonably priced.

I found this *gem* of a jeweler after being thoroughly disenchanted by another place. I had multiple old pieces that I wanted to turn into one custom ring. I had pictures and an idea, along with a bit of apprehension, I am thankful that I got over my fear and met with Sean. He listened, provided thoughtful insight (along with a couple of great movie recommendations) and helped me create something more exceptional than my initial idea. Not to mention he was able to help this piece go from my mind to my finger for far less than I anticipated. People comment on my ring almost daily and I always tell them about Sean and this amazing store. It’s been close to a year, I still smile each time I put my ring on and can’t wait for the next time I get to work with Sean on a custom piece.

This is a fabulous jewelry store! We have been customers for over 40 years and counting. We have had several custom pieces made for us and have been awestruck. Most recently I discovered they have an excellent watch repair department as well. My husband has some nice watches that were in need of repair. They did a great job!
