šŸ˜  Iā€™ve been coming to this Salon since May 2023 and the experience was great. Each time Iā€™ve been really happy with the results. However my stylist no longer works and so I tried someone new. The experience was horrible from beginning to end. I have a lot of thick textured hair and she skipped combing... People often mention hair, haircut, stylist, appointment, great, time, amazing,

Iā€™ve been coming to this Salon since May 2023 and the experience was great. Each time Iā€™ve been really happy with the results. However my stylist no longer works and so I tried someone new. The experience was horrible from beginning to end. I have a lot of thick textured hair and she skipped combing my hair out and decided to use a big brush that pulled my hair. She burnt my scalp several times and kept snagging my hair with the flat iron. I also paid for a cut and she didnā€™t even trim my whole hair, only the bottom. My hair wasnā€™t straight at all and the customer service was so poor.

I just want to start this review out by saying I have been to both Foxfire locations for a haircut in the past. I have had my hair cut twice by two different stylists and had a great experience but itā€™s been quite awhile since Iā€™ve been back. I needed a last minute haircut and scheduled with someone different last week. I trusted that because of my good experiences in the past that I would have nothing to worry about but unfortunately that was not the case. My stylist Shauna ended up being over 15 minutes late which she apologized. When I had booked the appointment online it said her haircuts were $85. After my haircut was finished, I went to pay and was told it would be $115. I couldnā€™t believe it. A $30 increase? My haircut took one hour and 6 minutes exactly from the time she took me back to when I was finished and she did not style my hair at the end. I had about four inches of hair cut off which is a standard cut across the board. I asked the front desk why I was getting charged so much more and they said the stylist added the extra charges because my haircut took an hour and a half therefore was considered a ā€œdouble haircutā€. I have difficulty understanding why I was charged this when it was completely false. This also makes me question that since the stylist was late she included that time into my haircut to consider it an ā€œhour and a halfā€. Either way the stylist never mention before or after my service of the up charge. The front desk said they couldnā€™t do anything about it so I just paid and went home. When I got home and took a better look at my hair I was so upset with how choppy it looked. The layers and the shape is totally uneven. For $115 I would expect the best haircut Iā€™ve ever had in my life. I feel very taken advantage of and am super disappointed this happened. When I have come in the past, I was never charged extra and previous stylists would curl my hair. Iā€™m so sad to say I really trusted this salon but now I will not be coming back. If you are gonna charge someone more than the normal price then that is DEFINITELY something that should be discussed before moving forward with the service. Do not go off of the salons online pricing because the stylists can easily manipulate the costs and charge you a completely different price listed.

75 dollar haircut just for the lady to rush it. At first I told her I wanted half my hair off (8-9) inches and she tried having me be done after she only took 2 inches off! Then she cut another inch off after I said something but it still was not even close to half as long so she cut it a third time but rushed it and did a sloppy job cuz she was tired of doing my hair so really sucks she did it with such care and made it look really good the first two times but made it look bad right at the end because she was not listening to me and being impatient

I absolutely loved the way my hair turned out! My hair looked horrid before, and I looked like a completely different person after! I went for a red balayage, which the stylist (I forgot your name, but you were truly amazing!) nailed and got spot on. It turned out honestly even better than what I pictured in my head. They also used the Aveda cherry and almond shampoo that smelled heavenly, and my hair was smooth as butter. Will come here frequently in the future as well! Thank you so much <3 <3

Shauna was amazing! I came in with a poorly done at home dye job. very blotchy and damaged, I thought I would only be able to get a haircut to fix it. She was very kind and realistic with me. Her confidence in her work reassured me she could help. She was extremely understanding and helpful considering my college budget and time limit (visiting for spring break) She closely matched my original color, did an amazing job in neutralizing the blue patches and evening out the color. Including highlights and considering coloring differences from the uneven bleach. her work is beautiful. Got it all done in a few hours including my haircut! Thank you so much Shauna!

The building was beautiful and the staff when walking in was very friendly. I was the first appointment of the day and my stylist was over 10 minutes late. That's why I'm giving a 4. The service was great, my hair turned out just as I wanted, so no complaints there!

Sara Dyed and cut my already short hair. She knew exactly what I wanted and answered all of my questions so I wasnā€™t nervous! It turned out so amazing and I am absolutely in love with it!!! I could not ask for a better person to freshen up my locks! BEST STYLIST!! Vibrant beautiful purple over my natural brown!!!

The salon is very clean and inviting. Aveda products are available for purchase. Upon arrival, they offer coffee, tea or water. I've been there twice and both visits were great. Shauna is an excellent stylist. I give her my thoughts about color and cut. She then turns them into something great.

I had a great experience with Sara! She was professional yet warm & welcoming, and she did exactly what I was envisioning for my hair! Seriously, she made my Pinterest hair board a reality-thank you so very much!

I got a horrible highlight job a while ago at a different salon and have been struggling with my orangey and streaky hair ever since. I decided to take the risk and try to get my hair re-toned after 6 weeks and was paired with Nicole. I donā€™t know how she did it but she made my hair absolutely beautiful when it looked so bad before. All around she was absolutely LOVELY and colored my hair perfectly. I will be going to her for any future coloring jobs for sure. I recommend Nicole to any of you hoping to color or style your hair.

Up until just recently, I was a regular at the Fircrest location. I had been going with them since 2018. The stylists I had were amazing people and extremely talented at what they did. I was supposed to have a hair appointment I scheduled over a month ago last weekend and normally they text/email asking confirmation that you were still coming to your appointment. Realizing the morning of my appointment that I never received notice, I called Foxfire and asked if they had my correct contact info on file and if my appointment was still good to go. They said they were sorry and that they left a message (which they definantly didn't as I had no voicemail, text, or email from them,) that my stylist no longer works there and my appointment was cancelled. What's frustrating is that this is the second time this has happened at this location. The first time I went all the way to the salon for the day I booked the confirmed appointment before they told me the artist I had no longer works there and my appointment was cancelled. The artists there are great at what they do, but the company needs to change how they handle scheduling/cancellations if they want to retain clients, because it makes me feel like they don't care about their clients when there's an artist turnover.

Nicole did my hair, she colored it and itā€™s exactly what I wanted but even better than the pictures I showed her. Sheā€™s a perfectionist and knows what she is doing. Thank you, Nicole! Youā€™re amazing!
