    I signed up for personal training sessions with Alex to focus on getting back in shape after a major injury. She was great about working with me to overcome climbing related fears and tailoring an exercise program to my specific goals. She is very motivational, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She even helped me create a routine for independent sessions and still checks in with me. If you are looking to improve your climbing, book some sessions with Alex!

    Alex as a personal trainer was superb. Very approachable and not a dull moment if you train with her. She is very passionate about what she does and also gives you a boost mentally. She gives me a lot of confidence using weights, gives safety precautions on how to use equipment, and gives an explanation on how & why we target certain muscles. Alex is very knowledgeable. Overall, I highly recommend her as a personal trainer.

    Alex I'd a fantastic coach! I've worked with her for both strength training and climbing specific training. I signed up with her because I wanted to advance my technical and mental skills to be a more efficient climber. My biggest opportunity area was managing my mental game when climbing moves increased in risk level. I often wouldn't "go for it" out of fear if I thought I wouldn't make it, especially if I would fall. Alex coached me through these moments while I challenged myself to get comfortable bouldering, falling, and going for more difficult climbs. After working with her for 3 months, I see huge progress in both my technical and mental abilities!! Highly recommend working with her!

    Alex is an extremely knowledgeable and passionate trainer. She maintains a holistic view of health and knows that a healthy lifestyle means something different for each client. She is equipped to work with clients battling self esteem issues. I cannot recommend her more!

    Alex is awesome! Per my goals, I worked with Alex on a rigorous, tailored training program for ~4 months. In my time with her, I not only got stronger and leaner - she helped me fix old injuries (caused by underdevelopment, technique, etc) that I'd been dealing with for years. On top of all of that, she's an incredibly nice, smart, authentic person. I highly recommend you try training with Alex.

    Alex is a phenomenal trainer! I’m working with her in her women on weights classes and have already learned so much in a short period of time. She is positive, always enthusiastic, and makes the experience fun! I also really appreciated that in introducing herself, she talked about “body neutrality.” I’ve gotten to a point in my life where I am actively avoiding diet culture and the negativity that comes with that. Her focus is to help you get stronger and achieve your goals, not to look a certain way. The environment shes cultivated gives space for women to learn how to lift without judgement or pressure. Simply put, Alex is the best!

    I’ve been lifting weights for years without any real training or coaching- within a session with Alex, I had changed form on multiple things which actually enabled me to do more with less pain. I feel like I gained valuable understanding and knowledge that I can apply to most activities in life. The best part? The mindset is not on weight loss or changing your physical appearance. Rather, it is on learning how to set goals, identify/overcome barriers, and celebrate accomplishments that actually improve your relationship with your body in so many more ways than just looks. The mental aspect of activity is just as important as the physical and Alex creates a safe and welcoming space to improve both. Highly recommend.

    Alex is an amazing personal trainer! she has a way of articulating the science of kinesiology into exercises that are easy to understand and follow. I have been lifting weights for years and have found her knowledge to be helpful.
