Cool bridge to watch raise and lower for boat traffic from the Sound to Lake Union. Very skinny lanes to drive on though. Sidewalks on either side (also very skinny) and very scary to walk on as there is no railing between you and the speeding cars for the majority of the length of the bridge. Spectacular views if you dare walk across...

I love this bridge. a structural work of art that is perfect for watching at the end of the dock, in fisherman's terminal. I always wait a little while for the draw bridge rise. would make a great painting if an artist decides to venture.

A good place for a photo shoot!!!! You never know what you'll find, unless you look with an open mind!!!!

This is the route to Whole Foods, work, Seattle, the dentist, a haircut, the fish store and Discovery Park. From May to October sunsets are commonplace where other drivers do not look up with draw bridge is up….Not us for we are new here…. Do not ask about sunsets from November to March…. Please do not…. For it is not the same…. We take Vit D and drink lots of coffee as we wait for spring…

Cool old bridge that you can walk on and bike on but wow is it sketchy walking on this thing as the path is like 2 feet wide and 2 bikes coming at each other well you find yourself in quite a jam but the views are worth it and just walk the bike or board that’s what I did as some cracks will be to big to take!

Cool old bridge leading into Ballard. It can be a very busy area at time's. But there are many different restaurants and activities to do near here.

Great views of the harbors & fishing boats. Unless your driving in traffic. In which case you will have a view of the brake lights on the car in front of you. Always a possibility of having to pause to let a sailboat or tall ship motor through the draw bridge. Which gives you ample time to gaze about without fear of rear-ending the car in front of you.

Would of gave it 5 stars but I almost got hit by a bicycle while I was on the sidewalk. Seems like the bicycle should not be riding on the sidewalk for safety reasons
