Finally got to enjoy this spot. I was waiting till they were dine-in again. Clean restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The food comes out beautiful and fresh. Everything we ate had good flavor. I can't wait to come back and try the curry.

We ordered for takeout, and it was fast!I had the Healthy Garden with chicken. The vegetables were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy/crunchiness. Good flavor, but "2" was a tad too spicy for me. My wife had chicken phad Thai and really liked it.

It's been a while since we've been here last. As always though. The food, atmosphere, and service were great. This restaurant always seems to change it up and they haven't disappointed. Tonight, we ordered crab wontons. My girl got pineapple curry with veggies, and I got the Mama Phad. The crab wontons, damn! I swear the last time we were here, they tasted different. This time, they look and tasted home made. The pineapple curry were super good, and this dish is hard to find. At least the couple of Thai places we've been to didn't have it. The Mama Phad was really good. It's a different type of ramen dish, but wow, super good. Overall, we love this place. Service is always good. Can't wait to come back :)

The only thing better than the service here is the food--and both are remarkably great! Everyone we interacted with was outgoing and friendly. It was our first visit, but we were treated like old friends. The fried spring rolls are crispy and flavorful, with a sweet dipping sauce that has just a touch of spice. We tried the red curry and pineapple curry. Both are sweet and tasty. Between the two, we preferred the pineapple curry, but just by a bit. The curried noodles are cooked to perfection, moist but not sticky, and delicious. If you like extra-spicy food, order 5 stars and ask for their spice tray.

After reading the rave reviews I chose Family Thai to treat my husband to a birthday dinner. Let me start by saying the owners and staff here are really lovely, making this review a hard one to write. I ordered the roast duck curry, penang curry, pad see ew, crab wan tons, and Super basil. We couldn't have been more disappointed. The only thing we found acceptable was the crab won tons. All the other dishes were so heavily sweetened that it was like eating syrup. The Pad See Ew noodles were overcooked (leftovers I suspect) to the point that they were just a heap of mush, and it too was heavily sweetened. We had enough food for three days, but could barely get through small helpings in the first dinner. The rest of the $85 meal sadly went in the garbage disposal. We are both big fans of Thai food, have eaten at many Thai restaurants and have cooked Thai food ourselves. I've never seen a recipe that called for more than a tiny pinch of sugar, if that. This food was sickeningly sweet. We ordered 1-star heat, so I don't know if they thought they could tone down the heat with sugar. Otherwise I can't imagine a reason to cook everything with so much sugar. Photo of the Pad See Ew below.

Had a late lunch experience at Family Thai Cuisine. What a good recommendation. The outside of the building is unassuming. The interior was bright, well laid out and charming. The owners were super friendly. Menus came quickly, followed by water. The menu offerings were extensive and diverse. In what seemed like a few minutes, the food began to arrive. All of it was tasty. The wait staff was attentive and eager to make sure we had all we needed. This was a very enjoyable lunch. Family Thai Cuisine is worth a very sit. 😋

Great tasting Thai food. Our family of 5 ate everything. The spice index 1-5 was perfect for us. Lots of fresh vegetables.

We have found our new favorite Thai restaurant. The service was lovely - friendly, attentive, informative, and sweet. They have such a great team there; every employee was working with us and it seemed seamless. The atmosphere was clean, inviting, and non-crowded. And the food was amazing - perfect levels of spiciness for us, delicious flavors, everything perfectly cooked. We got the sampler plate for an appetizer: lots of different things to try on that plate and everything was amazing. For entrees, we ordered mango curry and pad see ew - total winners. And the Thai tea and Thai coffee were well-balanced and flavorful, exactly how we know and love them. Prices were reasonable. Food was fresh, hot, and beautiful textures. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend all visit!

This Thai restaurant has the best food and the best people running it :) Portions are hearty and fair, the curry is absolutely delicious and creamy (not thin and watery) they give plenty of sauce to a good ratio of the veggies and meat. They have also just reopened the restaurant for dine-in. The team is friendly, accommodating, and takes a genuine interest in getting to know you and remembering you. You'll feel right at home.

First time here so hopefully better next. But I love green curry and usually what I order for thia food. Theirs was extremely sweet compared to what I've had before. Used to green curry being sweet. But this was a bit over whelping. Hopefully next time when I try their red panang it'll be a bit more well rounded flavor wise. Hated to give such a bad review was quite hopeful.

We were in town from Green Bay. My wife and I wanted to try thai food for the first time and it was amazing! Large portions, fair price, really good food. Friendly owner/employee. I'm not sure when I'm coming back to the area but when I do I'm eating here!

05/20/23: I came in for a quick lunch in the Silverdale area and I wanted some Thai food. The food was a little bit salty for me and my girlfriend. The staff is great and friendly. In other Thai restaurants, I can eat well and deliciously so it all depends on my preferences.

How many times have I driven by this little shopping area and never knew that Family Thai even existed? Thousands of times! After hearing from a few acquaintances on how good their food is; I was extremely excited to try it, after all, I had great luck with another local Thai restaurant I have recently dined at, so count me in. The Family Thai restaurant is a casual, bright, happy, charming little restaurant with servers that are just as delightful as the restaurant is cute. I showed up about 11:10 am and by the time I left at 11:45 am Family Thai was half full, mind you, it isn't a large establishment, none the less, a lot of customers coming in is an incentive for newcomers to try something out. It doesn't mean a restaurant is excellent, but visually it does help bring people coming in. And in this case, I overheard that some of the patrons are returning customers. Ok, now on to the food. Great menu and decent prices. I love the fact that they offer a lunch menu with several yummy sounding items to choose from. My server Thiti took my drink order and gave me a few minutes to look over the menu; after pondering, I decided to order Phad Thia with pork, (it was a tough decision) it came with a scoop of white jasmine rice and a cup of soup. I won't say much about the soup because I failed to understand the name of it, but it was brothy with small pieces of chopped vegetables and overall delicious. My Pad Thai was savory, flavorful and a generous helping at that. Again I love the fact that peanuts were a background taste and not the main event. My server Thiti was cheery, friendly, inviting and overall delightful. The restaurant is clean and visually refreshing — the ladies room, also clean with no obnoxious odors. The parking lot is shared with several other businesses, if ever in need of more parking space, right across the street; within walking distance is a much larger parking area that is adjacent to VCA Animal Hospital, Tessios, and Tractor Supply Company. Overall if you haven't tried Family Thai Restaurant, definitely put it on your list of places to try. ***Adding to my review- 4/19/2019 Today I decided this evening to do two take out lunches, Ginger Chicken that came with Phad Thai and Jasmine Rice (soup is in house only) and Beef Keemoa Noodles with Jasmine Rice -both dishes, full of exuberant flavor, with a spice number of three, just a tiny little bite nothing to make your eyes water. Both dishes where full of vegetables and plenty of meat for the taking and left overs to share with mom! And if I haven't mentioned before, the servers are accommodating, out going and very hospitable =)

Wife and I enjoyed lunch before our weekly shopping trip. Appears to be just a couple members on the staff led to a little slower than average service but was made up for by being very friendly and hospitable. We were seated quickly, limited staff meant it took time before we could order. O LT After second member of staff arrived, service times improved and good customer support. We ordered Pineapple Fried Rice and Pad See Ew. Both meals were delicious and plentiful leaving enough to take home dinner too.

Not the very best Thai food I've had, but probably the best you can get on this side of the water, and the prices are great. Incredibly kind and helpful owners. We ordered 8 different dishes and they were all very, very good. Top marks overall.

Food is always delicious. I try to branch out but my go tos are usually kaphrou gai kai dow and the mama pad. All the desserts are good.

They make you feel like you are family. Great food and awesome people. We didn’t have to wait for a table at all and the hostess was thoughtful and placed us away from the door since it was cold. Food was delicious.

We think hands down the best Thai restaurant in Kitsap County. The restaurant and bathrooms are so clean. They have the best customer service, they take time to get to know their customers if you are willing, and their prices are reasonable for two people. They are so friendly. We get four large meals for two dinners ordered, there is so much food presented. They take time to present the food in a pleasing way and they take time to provide that excellent friendly customer service. Their food is not ordinary or boring. It is a blast of yummy flavor in every bite, delicious. And the meat has been tenderized. We enjoy this restaurant. My husband of eleven years even likes it. This restaurant is one of our hot spots.

When I had my baby I didn’t do any freezer meals, so we ended up getting a LOT of takeout for the first several weeks. Family Thai was our absolute favorite! Everyone who works there is so sweet. Our food was always delicious and hot. Whenever we want takeout I always vote for Family Thai because of how consistent they are, I just know it will always be good! And the portion size for the price is also really good!

Great food and attentive staff. Food came out quick, the presentation was nice, and everything tasted good. Our favorite dishes were the red curry and the pad thai. Coconut ice cream was awesome, too!

The service was exceptional! Best we have had. The servers and the hostess were so kind and even had personal conversations with us. We loved that part. The food, not so much. The Pai Thai and mango sticky rice, not our favorite. We would recommend their Massaman and TomYum soup! Very yummy.

I'll start with the good. The staff was very friendly, and the food came out quickly. Now the bad. The food was just not great. The panang curry was mostly broth, with a few vegetables and shrimp. Very scant on ingredients. The crab fried rice was the same. Mostly rice with a few tiny (and I do mean tiny) pieces of crab. In all, it seemed like they were trying to save money, which was surprising considering the meals were around $18. Overall, disappointed.

Absolutely delicious. We ordered a couple of different dishes and all of them came in shareable portions. The staff and owners are so sweet. I really enjoyed our dinning experience here.

I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner. My food was made fresh when I arrived for pick-up, it wasn't sitting there getting soggy. By far they have THE BEST orange chicken I've ever had! I will definitely be back.

I really loved the food! Can't wait to try other dishes. Best Thai I've had in Silverdale. Thai is my favorite food and I was excited to try them. I wasn't disappointed. 🙂
