Nice little park, but the review doesn't matter much because it will be closed for 2 years while they develop it more.

Beautiful park at the top of Lake Washington on the Sammamish Slew. The focus is bird/nature watching and paddling. Nice parking area with restrooms. There's a metal bridge path to 4 or 5 viewing blinds for bird watching or relaxing. In the middle is a fantastic boat dock for human powered boats. A floating ramp for kayaks and docks for stand up paddleboards, canoes and dragon boats. Even a rack with loaner life jackets. Fantastic park and great job City of Kenmore / Kenmore residents!

Gorgeous trails for biking and walking, right on the waterfront. Tons of natural restoration, a big playground, boat launches (non motorized), shelter, picnic tables, and grills make this one of the best parks in the area! Love it entirely

Love this little park! Lots of bunnies, squirrels, ducks and geese. Sometimes herons can be seen.

A quality spot to drop n plop those paddle boards, canoes, or whatever you float- human powered that is πŸ‘ I saw my first great blue heron fight here. Idk if that’s important πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Small park for fishing and putting your kayak or stand up paddle board in the water. Calm river with ducks and herons. Wheel chair accessible porta potty at the park. Grass area for picnics. 12 parking spot lot I think.

Great place to launch your paddle craft. It’s always calm so you avoid the chaos of logboom and the boat launch. Yes there’s limited parking, but there are a couple of load/unload spots. Or muscle up and carry your boat down from the street, it’s not that far and you can use that as a warm up and excuse to go to Cairn afterwards for post paddle beer and food.

I almost don't want to write a review to say how amazing this park is to keep it a hidden gem. It's small but very tranquil with great wild life and multiple bridges over the water. Best part is the multiple access points to the cove/river which allows you to easily kayak, paddle board, and more. Water is very calm making it easier and more enjoyable than Lake Washington. Worst part is the large amount of ducks in the area which can make a mess. But, it's easily manageable.

Tiny park with boat launch for hand powered craft. Very limited parking. They also offer rental for boat storage (think kayak and canoe) for cheap. I prefer the regular boat launch that's nearby. You need a discover pass, but getting in my kayak on a Sandy shore is easier than from a rickety floating dock. The one real perk is the community programs here for kids and dragon boating

It's a small park on the water but you must pass through a apartment complex parking to get there. Limited parking. Boat launch for hand motored watercrafts only. Peaceful. Quiet. 2 picnic tables. No trash or recycling containers in park, but a small one of each in parking lot. Nice bird spotting. Poor water quality here, highly contaminated with duck and geese fecal matter.

A beautiful park in Kenmore, Washington which is still being finished up. Great for launching kayaks and canoes. 2 public grills with a roofed picnic area. 3 wildlife viewing areas. AMAZING sunsets. Clean public restrooms which are locked each night. Gates close at dusk and reopen just after dawn! Please keep it clean and family friendly.

This park is small, a water park wetland, for a variety of birds ducks, Blue Herron, its a good viewing point for sammamish slew flowing into Lake Washington. A canoe float is available and outriggers are launched here

Nice space on the water. The Dragon Boats are such a beautiful site. There were a few people at the park walking a dog and there is a sculpture of a Salmon there. Not much space there, but a beautiful spot!!!!

Nice small park for launching kayaks. 5 parking spaces, difficult to park on street nearby. Porta potty. The city is planning to expand this park and it will be closed for construction soon.

Gorgeous spot to enjoy the water with your family. Picnic, swim, launch man-powered watercraft.

Great intimate park to launch a small (no motor) boat at. Took my kayak out for a few hours on the Sammamish and really enjoyed the relaxing flow the river provides. Highly suggest not trying to park directly in the park as there are only about 5 spots. You're better off dropping you boat off and then parking in a near by location such as the main street. The geese definitely frequent this park so watch out for poop on the grass but the launch area was very clean. Enjoy!
