I’ve given my experience a 3 star rating to recognize the physicians efforts. He conducted a thorough exam and answered all my questions. However, this was my second visit. During the first ( with the PA) we agreed that only a radiologist could compare the two MRIs, done years apart, to evaluate if the tendons have deteriorated during the time span. He agreed to order the reading so the physician would have that evaluation for my recent appointment. That radiology evaluation was not done. The physician acknowledged it could have given valuable information. As a result, my appointment was essentially a waste of my time, the physician’s time, and my money. Most importantly, I did not get the information I needed to make an informed decision about surgery, despite the fact that valuable imagery was available from which a useful assessment could have been done. That is unacceptable and, in and of itself, should be considered a failure.

Dr. Larsen and her team is to date some of the best medical providers I have had the pleasure of speaking with. Not only did she help bridge the gap of the information that was available to me, but addressed every concern I had with the utmost professionalism and accuracy a practitioner could offer. I couldn't ask to be in better hands.

Typically, I love coming here. It's a nice facility, rather large, and I'm taking care of fairly quickly. My most recent experience is the one leading me to leave a less than stellar review: I went to urgent care and the attending physician once I got back in the room was someone that I had seen taking off their mask outside to speak with unmasked patients as they discharged them. This physician also came into my personal space to unnecessarily shake my hand, and as I was being discharged patted me on the shoulder in an overly familiar way. I would not be okay with this physical contact under the best of circumstances, let alone during covid when we are meant to be social distancing IN A HOSPITAL. I came in for a gynecological issue of the skin, and was prescribed antibiotics. I do not believe this was the correct treatment, and I have already been on too many rounds of antibiotics within the past year which damages gut flora. Overall, having waited three hours for no active relief and feeling exposed and worse than when I came in, I'm very displeased.

Service seemed awesome at first. Even thought I rated my nerve pain at a 10 from a scale of 1 to 10. They prescribed ibuprofen and I left in as much pain as I came in with, 3rd time in 8 years!!! Hardly a abusive practice. I think a private doctor is the only way to get the attention and proper care one deserves, especially in a state where addiction to pain meds is too much of a concern that it trumps appropriate care. I have nothing against Kaiser and understand their position, but it's unfair to patients like me who only come to see a doctor when absolutely necessary and are told to take 2 ibuprofen and go home. Absolutely useless!! Sorry Still angry at every bit of pain I shouldn't be enduring right this minute, thank you! Switching to a private doctor, NO MORE KAISER!!!

Everyone from the receptionist, medical assistant, orthopedic technician to surgeon and hand therapist were personable and professional. They attended to my needs and thoroughly answered all my concerns. It was assuring to have a team like this helping me to rehabilitate post surgery.

This medical building is very clean with really friendly and helpful staff. I really like the layout, It is very easy to navigate. Wait time was reasonable. The nurses were really friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They also let me know if the doctor was going to be longer than planned. Not really crazy about the parking lot. They definitely have put too many spots in there. My Mini Cooper even had trouble getting in and getting out safely. On a good note there are many handicap spots on different levels of the garage.

Urgent care, and Dr Buck in particular, were brilliant at this facility. Compassionate, respectful care, with great listening-sometimes a rare quality. They made sure I wasn't facing possible further urgent issues before sending me home. Thorough, personable, skilled, and genuinely caring seemed to be the general profile of my care team.

Waited 25 minutes in exam room for Dr to show up. Was suppose to have a half hour appt but only got 15 minutes. Felt like the Dr did not fully understand or take my symptoms seriously or take the time to listen to my history. I was dissatisfied with my care and the experience. Had to pay a $40 co-pay for that???

Dr Erin Boylston with Kaiser Permanente. Thorough, knowledgeable, interested in her patients. All the the key points you hope to have in the physician in charge of your primary care. She took great care and interest in both my wife and myself. She listened, she asked straight forward questions taking in, we felt, the whole person not just the pieces. She looked over our medical history our medications past and present discussed them knowledgeably with us. We both feel that finally we have an advocate for our health we can depend on and trust. Her support staff Alysia was also amazing. They are a good team. We highly recommend Dr Boylston.

I received exceptional service. Dr. Ene-Stroescu was very thorough in his assessment and explanation. He had an air of humility, compassion, and took the time to break down complex information. He did a quick sketch to ensure that I understood. This was extremely helpful since I am a visual learner.

Dr. Lisa Tibor is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. I had a large rotator cuff repair surgery. She did an amazing job on my shoulder. She exceeded my expectations for my recovery. I feel I was very lucky to have a Doctor that truly cared about my long term out come. Thank you Dr. Tibor for your schooling and skill. You are one of the best docs out there.

I am so extremely happy with the great care I get at Kaiser Permanente. I love everything about them and the great employees. The are always professional yet treat you with care and understanding like you are important to them. They are accessible anytime through a phone call. The have a great emergency room with great physicians and staff, you never have to wait extremely long before being seen. I highly recommend them plus I can go online and see my chart plus my upcoming tests that are due.

All of the staff from the front desk to the doctor, and the nurses; everyone was incredibly sweet and patient. Smiling genuinely and being very reassuring about all of the procedures. The staff even had the facility decorated for the holidays and that was so special for the adults and the kids.

I'm always treated with respect from the time I check in until I'm discharged. The wait is never long and dragged out. The staff members are always friendly and professional and the doctors always provide me with top notch care and I've never felt like they don't care. The staff seems to love their jobs and they go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.

I didn't have to wait long for my appointment once I checked in. I had great customer service from everyone. My doctor was very kind listening to my concerns about my health and answered all my questions. She made referrals for me and prescribe medication for me to pick up right after my appointment. I was satisfied with my Care thank you very much.

In and out with an efficient, knowledgeable, friendly check in staff member, provider and support staff within 40 minutes. Great experience. Got my flu shot while there for an injury as well. Well done Tacoma Medical Center Urgent Care!! Very impressed!

My experience was wonderful. The doctor I saw was both knowledgeable and compassionate with good bedside manner, and made me feel like I understood what was going on with my health and what future next steps would be. The person who started me off (a nurse? I I didn’t catch her position) was the same way, and made me feel like she cared about my health while also getting me prepared for what was going to happen with the doctor.

Radiology - Jackie Burke, is an incredible person. I was terrified while getting a biopsy of my thyroid, and she literally let me squeeze her hand the entire time. Heather was my ultra sound tech and had a great sense of humor. I apologize for not know the name, but the Australian doctor was incredible. He did a fantastic job and was in and out in a very short time. As far as multiple needles in the throat go, I had a five-star experience.

Dr Starr and the anesthesia tech Melissa were totally the best. They took the time to talk me off the ledge regarding my anxiety-induced questions, and were humorous, which is always a big plus for me. I’ve had epidural injections before, and they were not the most pleasant experiences. These two did a smashing job, efficient and thorough and caring. I’d recommend them and the department as a whole as an option for pain relief.

👍Great medical Urgent Care Center, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Christopher Walsh taking time to go over the diagnosis clearly and listening for what I needs. He was Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative… I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care. all the nurses were great, too. Walked away, very impressed w. the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend.

I have had some very good experiences with the people working at this facility. I know Kaiser crams their day, but there has been multiple times where people have taken time to help me. The latest example is Dr. Alston in pediatrics there. My family had a medical crisis and Dr. Alston replied quickly and compassionately to emails I sent, was very kind and supportive to my family, and took the time to make sure that we got everything we needed to help my daughter. In today's healthcare system, you tend to feel like you are looked at like an ID number, not a person; Dr. Alston showed that is not the case (at least for him). I also have had numerous interactions with people who showed moments of pure kindness... a nurse who gave me a hug and said don't be scared, a woman who helped me figure out what to do when I broke my leg and was trying to figure out surgery details, among others. I know Kaiser sometimes gets a bad wrap for being this huge medical monster, but (at least at this facility) I have had a great experience.

Dr. Klein is a very knowledgeable and compassionate surgeon. He answered all of my questions, and the surgery went extremely well. I was walking unaided, and with minimal pain, almost immediately. Six weeks after surgery, my hip is better than it's been in years. I highly recommend him for your surgery.

Went to Urgent Care today for a series of things that have occurred lately. Dr Beck was my Doctor. He is absolutely wonderful. He was a great listener and followed through on everything. I appreciated how respectful he was but really appreciated the way he found a minute or two to laugh with me. He made a long visit okay.most importantly I felt in safe capable hands. Dr Beck is a 10

Dr. Berg was thorough, thoughtful, very professional and had a good sense of humor. She listened attentively to my concerns and tried to find a solution for them. She took the time to explain everything in depth. The appointment was pleasant and fruitful for me.

I have not had to use urgent Care in almost a year and a half. The care and professionalism the staff displayed at every level was outstanding. When you hear so much about medical staff burnout you expect the worst. This was not the case at all. Keep up the good work Kaiser. Your patients appreciate you!

My most recent visit was perfect. They were on time. The technician and doctor had both reviewed my chart and the note I had written. They reviewed my vaccines and medications with me. The doctor addressed all my concerns, not just my initial complaint. I never felt rushed.

I always receive great service when I go to kaiser in Tacoma. The reason why I gave 4stars is that how a young girl(don't even deserve to be called a young lady) was extremely rude in the pharmacy. I have been going to this location for years and always received the best and most respectful encounters with all staff. She was extremely rude after I asked her should I leave and come back to pick up my prescription after my 30min wait in the lobby, which I had no problem doing. Her response was rude and she did NOT have great customer service skills.

On July 14 around 12.30, I pulled into the parking lot of the Urgent Care facility. I have meniere's disease, which is a fully plugged ear with 24/7 high pitch and loud ringing. Occasionally it also triggers vertigo. I was able to find a spot to park just as the vertigo took a swing on the wild side. I could barely hold myself up on the side of my truck as I got out. Thankfully, an angel of a woman cleaning the garage area walked by. I got her attention asked to call for help and a wheelchair when I pulled in. I had vertigo horribly and could barely stand! I owe her and her family a nice dinner in town. She asked me a question, but I was unable to answer her as I was ... well ... losing the $15 worth of Burger King from about 30 minutes earlier. I'd also like to thank the nurse and security officer who made it down to the parking lot to help the crazy old man. I couldn't open my eyes much, so I don't remember seeing them. But I'd love it if you can pass on my thanks to them. They were very patient, understanding ... and must have iron-clad stomach's! Inside, I couldn't open my eyes at the registration desk. But she, too, was very nice and patient as I tried to answer her in-between ... hurling. And if you were a patient in the area also waiting, I'm so very sorry. I couldn't help it. And to the nurses and doctor who helped me ... as I was throwing up ... God bless you all for all that you do. I couldn't ask for better care and understanding at that moment. Thank you!

Went to Tacoma urgent care on June 10 Dr. Noland and her staff were very attentive and very thorough. As a senior I was concerned that it was the start of bronchitis but it turned out to be another one of those viruses, but fortunately not Covid. I felt like I was their most important patient And I really loved the warm blankets

As a KP core member I've drove over a hour to use this center a couple of times, once for urgent care after passing out, once for midwifery and for general surgery. All three experiences were above and beyond my expectations. The staff always took extra care of me, explained all tests., procedures, options, etc with me. Staff was always very friendly and knowledgeable. My surgery was scary, but they took excellent care of me. It went smoothly and recovery was very quick and much easier than expected because they did such an excellent job. Extremely grateful to have had such excellent care each time. It's absolutely worth the drive to get to the facility imo. Parking is awful though. Make sure to show up like 30 minutes early to ensure you can get parked.
