I dreaded my appointment here. Was very emotional. A friend recommended me to this place. They treated me so kindly. Each person took an extra moment to comfort me in my process. I told the girl on my way out I only wish I had been able to thank everyone. Would recommend anyone to this place with a difficult decision to make. They will make you feel better about everything.

I read reviews that put this clinic down and was initially slightly hesitant because of this. I have to disagree with the negative reviews. I was treated with compassion and respect from the moment I called to make my appointment all the way to end. I decided to write this personal account to give something back for the support that I received from Cedar River Clinic - and also for all the other women who might be scared and stressed in this moment. The staff, particularly - the RN’s and provider - listened to me and helped me feel better about my decision, especially when I needed it the most. I was told over the phone that I would need to reserve 3-5 hours of my day for this appointment and sure enough I was there for 4. I was aware of this, so it is what I expected, I didn’t mind waiting to know that this team was taking their time to provide the best possible care they could for their patients. After it was over, I left the clinic feeling ultimately relieved - albeit a bit sad. It’s a strange feeling - but I am happy that it’s over and I can move on with my life. Thank you for making this most difficult time in my life as easy as it could possibly be - I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

They listened to me and helped me feel better especially when I needed it the most. I had an abortion 20 years ago and I still regret it. I miss my sweet baby . The abortion clinic didn't tell me I was gonna have a baby ripped out of me, my milk was gonna come in and my mother instincts were going to turn on and I would try to commit suicide by overdosing because I let them kill my baby. Don't do it. Jesus loves you and your baby. Choose life. Don't let fear trick you into thinking this is the easy way out.

This is my second time here. I have sat in the waiting room both times for over an hour and a half. Finally went to the back. Just to sit in another waiting room for another hour. The staff is nice but very resistant when it comes to information about the waiting, but these wait times are absolutely ridiculous. Either they are low staffed and shouldn't be accepting all of these patients in one day, or they are very slow at their job and should hire more knowledgeable staff.

Everyone from the person on the phone to the doctor I saw was wonderfully kind and informative. I used to dread visits regarding birth control, because others have made the conversation uncomfortable in the past, but everyone I have seen or spoken to here has put me at ease and been wonderfully personable. I've heard that they normally have quite long waits, so I was instructed to come plenty early and still waited a while, so definitely prepare yourself for that.

This is not a healthcare provider. They will not give you complete, accurate information regarding your options as a pregnant person. They do not fall under HIPPA rules and have no legal imperative to protect your personal information. They are unethical and spread misinformation based on their extreme religious beliefs.

If you want something less painful, they have options. My procedure was quick and painless almost with offered sedation. But definitely will be be waiting a while. Nice people.

Everyone from making the appointment to when I was finished with my procedure was so supportive! They made me feel comfortable in ever way possible. I appreciate all their help and would recommend this clinic to everyone! Thank you all again so much for helping me through what was a very emotional time for me. *side note there was a couple protesters outside but they just stood on the sidewalk and said they would pray for me very quietly as I walked by*

This place is the only one that could help me save my baby. I will forever be grateful for the compassion and the professionalism of the nurses and doctors and MAs here. If Dr. Gu hadn't taken the time to listen and understand our situation, my little girl would have spent her entire life paying for a childhood mistake. Thank God for the service this team provides. Was a little skeptical about coming here bc of the reviews but I give this place 5/5. The staff was friendly and so helpful. I highly recommend this clinic. Thank you Cedar River.

This clinic made me feel like my needs were being met, and they do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

Make it more clear your scheduled appointment is not when youll actually be seen. Waiting in a lobby thats quite is alright. But for people vommitting or having nausea.
