Delicious, authentic Mexican food, courteous staff, very large seating areas, a full bar, large portions, welcoming atmosphere. This place has been around since the '90s but I had just found it in Fall of '22. Glad I did and will be back soon. Good stuff !!

Tropical Mexico is a really good restaurant in Pomona and it has superb customer support and it is always a pleasure to eat there. I usually order the taco combination plate or the enchiladas and taco plate. They also serve really good fajitas. The chips and salsa are also really good. A good time to go is around 5:00 p.m. because this place gets really busy after 6:00 p.m.

Me and my cousin stopped by for lunch ordered a couple of tortas of Carne Asada. The torta was just okay .We also ordered fries that were good. I've been here several times through the years.They have good food.The sea food is really good .The structure is roomy with outside dining under a canopy The walls are decorated nicely with paintings.The customers service is courteous and friendly. There's plenty of parking with the handicap stalls at the front entrance

Interesting location. Wasn't expecting it to be here but we tried it and it was good, not great. Some of the food was a bit bland for my taste. I liked the salsa with the chips but they charge for a 2nd helping of chips so eat sparingly if you are on a budget.

The open atmosphere was very nice. The soup was hot and delicious.

Food was very good i ate chilaquiles with rice and beans and the other dish is huevos rancheros both dishes good 👍

The best, most authentic Mexican restaurant within 50 miles. I've been coming here for 10 years and it's been consistently delicious, affordable, and hospitable. Definitely recommend to everyone I know. Seeing the same wait staff after a decade speaks to the quality of the owners and establishment. Watch out for the pitchers of margaritas. Don't plan on doing anything later that day or making any important decisions 😉

This is a nice restaurant. The service was excellent. The seating area was clean. The kitchen appeared to be clean and busy. Adequate parking and great ambiance. I was expecting a great authentic Mexican meal. Damn I was way off. The enchiladas were made with tomato paste with no flavor. The tacos were bland. I was so disappointed. If I get covid again and lose my sense of taste I'll go back and give this place 5 stars. But as long as I can taste food I'll save my money or go to Taco Bell for more flavor. I'm honest and accurate. Look at the rest of my reviews. I won't say it's bad if it's not.

The food is always so delicious. The salsa is so good we take extra home. I love the steak picado and my husband loves the carne asada torta. The service is always friendly and we can't wait to go back again.

Staff did a great job with our party of 40, quick with the refills and food service. Liked the outdoor seating; helps to avoid covid and appreciate some of the staff wearing masks. Food was alright, the chips and salsa included. The rest could use a revamp on seasoning with bold defined flavors for the food; a little bland. Portion sizes were decent for the price Parking was ample

It was my first time there with family who had eaten there regularly. I love Chicken & Mole, but theirs not so much. I could tell that the chicken was not prepared with the Mole. Chicken was dry. Otherwise, everything else was just fine

Located in a very industrial area, but worth finding. Good food. Large portions. My husband's meal came with a beer included! Love all the murals!

Seems like a great spot.food was good and in good time. Service was prompt with any request. This place is massive, lots of seating as well as outdoor . I went on a slow morning but was told the place fills up. Good beer on tap with full bar. What more can you ask for

Good overall experience, good food, good atmosphere. Tried the Enchilada,beef taco and shrimp cocktail. The cocktail was good and flavorful. The enchilada was above average. The chip salsa was good, chips were a bit stale,but okay. Service was average, overall good experience and worth trying. The Cadillac Margarita was average at best.

I have been here a few times over the years with my grandparents. This past experience was no different. Our waitress was just wonderful. She took care of the entire party very efficiently and was always coming to check up on our drinks or to see if we needed anything else. The margarita pitchers are definitely worth the price! I had my children along and she was just so respectful to them and listened to them ordering instead of just talking to the adults for their order. It is a small l, seemingly unnoticeable restaurant but well worth the visit.

Food is tasty with a big selection. Service is fast and prompt. Salsa is good with a kick.

The best and most genuine Mexican restaurant is 50 miles away. It's consistently wonderful, reasonably priced, and welcoming, and I've been coming here for ten years. Absolutely suggest to everyone you know. The fact that the same wait crew is still there ten years later speaks highly of the business's quality and proprietors. The pitchers of margaritas should be avoided. Don't plan on accomplishing anything later or making any significant decisions that day.

This place was delicious! I got the chicken flautas combination and a margarita. The flautas were all chicken inside, so good and the margarita was definitely great as well.

We went with a group of 8 3 ordered the menudo two bowls with patas and one just regular well when it came it only had a lil piece of pata to top it off it looked watered down..then it didn't seem as though the tripe wasn't cleaned right had that dirt smell..I've had the menudo there before and it wasn't the same...sorry just being honest.

Good Mexican and Seafood. Alcoholic beverages available. Good service and a friendly atmosphere. Prices are comparable to other places.

Food didn't have flavor. I order the tropical mexico plate it has 1 enchilada I tamal and 1 Chile relleno. The enchilada sauce which was also on the tamal literally tasted like souce from a can I would say it tasted like las palmas enchilada sauce. My husband oder one dozen of the fresh oysters and some of them were bad already.

We ordered through Doordash. We had been looking for a Mexican food restaurant that had good food. Actually good food. THIS...THIS was finally good food. I had the chille rellenos and he had the Carne asada dish. Wow! They were amazing! Can't wait to order again.

Food was awful. Three of the 4 dishes we ordered went to the trash. Low quality meats and poor preparation. Avoid this place like the plague.

We had a luncheon for 75 people after my Dads funeral..They couldnt have done better for us..Food was delicious..Service was great..and we kept them busy I must say!! Waitresses were so nice ..Bar service was excellent!! Prices for the amount of people were awesome!! Everyone complimented the food and service..my family was extremely thankful for everything!!! Thank you to them for making a wonderful tribute to our Dad so enjoyable..The Shank family..
