I’m posting 5 stars because this restaurant has long been a favorite. Your food is delicious, Alexis is a great server, and you’re always patient and attentive when we visit. Today, however, was a disaster. I ordered lunch for my colleagues on your app early in the morning and was pleased to see I could schedule a delivery time. When the food was 20 minutes late, I called to check and was told that you were waiting on an Uber driver to pick it up. I came to get it myself, and asked for a call next time if it would be late. Your server had no patience for my request and said she had no control over it and walked away. When I got back to work I realized my sandwich order was spicy chicken instead of buffalo 🙄. I walked back to swap it out on the remaining time from lunch. The server told me that you all had a big catering order and my sandwich must have gotten mixed up in that. I don’t need your excuses, I need you to be the reliable, dependable place you were before Covid. I’m posting a picture of the sandwich I received. Is this the food you serve catering orders? It falls short of what I’m used to from you all. Please do better.

It's OK!🤷🏾‍♀️... They have to RETHINK the leg and thigh kick. especially the MIXED BUCKET for 25$ and it's just chicken drumsticks and thighs, NO BREAST and NO WINGS, oh!!! and NO Biscuit included. They're extra... Nah .🤦🏾 I tried the chicken breast sandwich. It's good the sauce with pickles is nice , But for ME...even with all the pickles in the sandwich I say POPEYE'S chicken sandwich still has them beat! Legs and thighs ... 🍗 What are you doing with the rest of the chicken parts Bob? 🐔 Breast and wing are less fat. I don't know if I would run back there...🤔 Oh and it's mainly take out . 6 stools seating. But we managed. Like I said ...it's OK.

Das beste Buffalo Chicken, welches ich jemals hatte. Auch die Drumsticks und der Mac 'n' Cheese sind klasse, dazu die hauseigene Soße nehmen. Der Service ist reizend, die Eigentümer sind wirklich mit Herzblut dabei.

Nothing to not like, simple delicious fried chicken with a few options and some good sauces. They also make a pretty good biscuit for being not in the south. Service is super nice and quick. Also very affordable. Perfect for evening bites before or after a night of drinking.

Great fried chicken at a very affordable price, with fast service! The chicken is nice and crispy on the outside, and the meat is tender and juicy - exactly what you’d hope for. The flavor from the spice is solid.

It is rare that you go to a restaurant and somehow it tastes like someone's great grand ma came down from heaven and seasoned the food just right only for you. Let me tell you.. Bob's chicken is the real deal! Crunchy, flavorful, with the right hint of spice but not overwhelming. Mac and cheese is soo creamy and savory and know that you'll regret not getting that flaky biscuit! 👏👏👏 I may live in Jersey but I will be back! Count on it.

Ate there a couple times and it is a better KFC. juicier chicken. Better mac & cheese; looks average but it’s good. Biscuit ain’t much better honestly but I still enjoy it. I would def come again just missing the slightest things to make it a 5 star experience. Very good though. FINAL VERDICT:// would come again.

Definitely some of the best fried chicken you can get in NYC. I’m from south, this scratches that itch that so many chicken places up here can’t. Extremely satisfying, crunchy, and juicy. The sauces and drinks are made in-house and are very good. I like the Buffalo sauce a lot.

I heard about this spot from employees at Origins NYC. They always order great food so I figured I would try it out. They have no indoor seating but seating for 8 people out front. The menu is simple. They have sauces that you have to pay .50 cents extra for. They are most known for their chicken sandwich. I ordered Spicy chicken sandwich, lemonade and Mac and cheese. The chicken sandwich would have been amazing if it was fresh off the fryer. I bought and ate within 5 mins and the sandwich was completely at room temperature

The sandwich was good. The fried chicken was better. Both were very flavorful, but the chicken was certainly more moist than the sandwich. I'll say this, the chicken sandwich tastes "cleaner" than a popeyes chicken sandwich. But it is very small. Overall, solid food.

Chick-fil-A is a 1 star chicken place compared to this place. The chicken sandwich is one of the best I've ever had. Yes, the chicken pieces and sides are great, but that chicken sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches ever. I daydream about it when I'm hungry. Great staff, too.

What happened to this place? It used to be a restaurant. It used to have a cozy ambiance where you could go inside and order lovely food and hear Johnny Cash on the speakers. There used to be real plates and glasses and service. Now it’s just a takeout place with plastic sneeze guards where the bar used to be. And the food is served cold and prepackaged and you have to eat it outside in a urine-smelly street hut. I had to clean the table myself. No butter for the biscuit. Everything in plastic - plastic cups, plastic cutlery. I remember when this place was great. It was a huge let down tonight. I’ll never go back. Edited to reply to the owner: Yes, all the food was prepackaged. I ordered Mac and cheese and it was cold. I asked the person if she could heat it up and she looked at me like I had two heads. Then she came back with a replacement Mac and cheese in another prepackaged to go container. Do you all not even have a microwave back there now? And no butter for the biscuit? Everything in to-go packaging? This bothered me because it’s unsustainable in this new climate hell we’re descending into. I go out to dinner to eat in a restaurant, not to eat Popeyes on the street. Your restaurant bites now, accept it. It’s straight take-out. Finally, social distancing is over. Lots of other places are actual restaurants again with plates and service. Stop blaming the pandemic for your decline in quality. Peace

Plain old delicious food. Love everything here!! Fried chicken with biscuits & the buffalo chicken wrap are my personal favorites. Been here many times and great local place to grab a bite. But worth noting it's mainly take away. They do have casual tables outside to eat at.

Best mac & cheese I’ve had since leaving the south. It’s so good and surprisingly good prices. The sweet tea was perfect!!!

The chicken was dry and not much flavor. It seems like the pieces have been fried a while ago before serving. The mac and cheese is good.

I'm a local and this place has delicious fried foods, soul food. Stop wasting time trying to decide and go. They have beer and wine too. Sides are delicious. Everything is fu*king delicious. My favorite is the chicken tenders, with Mac on the side. The staff is friendly and efficient. Perfect for a date and/or a seamless order. I attached pics for your viewing pleasure 😊. I was stunned when I found this bobwhite spot. I've been waiting a long time for fried food joint in the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed.

The food was all good, Could only grab a picture of the mac n cheese and biscuit. The mac n cheese was perfectly cheesy but also had a slight spice kick to it and the biscuit was melt in your mouth buttery. the service was par and the atmosphere is small, we took our food to go.

Bobs Whites no matter the day, time or weather has some of the best chicken sandwiches in the city. I would highly recommend checking it out. The service is fast and consistent. My only complain is that there is a .10 difference between the spicy and regular chicken sandwich, while I know they’re not putting 10¢ worth of seasoning on the chicken. It is seasoned well though maybe 3¢ worth haha. This is a perfect meal after going bar hopping in the LES/ East Village. I always get the spicy chicken sandwich along with the Mac and cheese.

It’s fried chicken. Not bad but also not good enough that I probably won’t be back due to it being in far from the subway. The biscuit was one of the best biscuits I’ve had though. The coleslaw was ok. The bob sauce? No clue what I was supposed to use it on, didn’t feel like it went with the chicken 😵‍💫 only redeeming quality was that the prices weren’t insane Note: no indoor seating and it’s cold outside to be eating chicken on ice cold metal furniture.

Best fried chicken/bun and Mac 'n Cheese i have ever had! Travelled all the way from Curacao to have this and it was all worth it.

DEFINITELY Fried chicken is not good for you. That being said, this is definitely a good chicken sandwich. I did notice that the line was longer at this food vendor then at the other beautiful vendors in the food garden. This is an excellent space, this urban food garden with beautiful food vendors and easy to access spaces to eat and bathrooms with excellent maintenance. It's very easy to come and go and a friendly inviting atmosphere with beautiful food vendors throughout. That is not always a given in a big busy city so I definitely give this general urban food garden high ratings. Sandwich review: excellent. The service was definitely on point and they delivered the sandwich quickly. It was delicious and as far as the chicken, very full thick chicken serving and it's great because the fried batter is minimal which makes it more acceptable as a delicious treat, not necessarily healthy but easy to get and hits the spot and basically quite high quality. The prices at this urban food garden are not that unreasonable given that it's New York City. So as far as my experience is definitely a recommend. It's easy friendly reasonably priced and accessible. What more can you ask for? Have a great day. I support an elevate local businesses when they care about what they do and produce a good product.

Best chicken sandwiches. We saw them on munchies and knew we had to fly to New York to try them and they did not disappoint. We waited for over and hour and had the best service. A friend in our group took a bite, didn’t even finish chewing his first bite before he order a second. We’re actually planning a trip soon with the full intention to have Bobwhites again! 🔥🔥

Definitely the best and flavorful fried chicken in NYC. Pies and Thighs is nice but I give my nod to Bob White. The only challenge is getting here on the subway. Expect a 15 min walk from the nearest subway line.

Friendly people running the place, really cute counter set up, reasonable price for how delicious the food was, and I ate this meal faster than I wanted to because it was just too too good. Great chicken (I had bone-in) and maybe the best biscuit I've ever had. Satisfying Mac n cheese too (peppery in a great way). I will definitely be back!

This place is sooo good. I wanted #friedchicken and that certainly what I got. The chicken is so juicy and flavorful it’s amazing and the price is definitely affordable. Hands down Four stars because I didn’t get any sauce
