It is a nice place to rest if you're traveling on the New York State Thruway. Many truckers come here at night to rest and then start early in the morning. The bathroom facilities are clean and the food that they sell as good. There is enough Room to sit down and relax and have breakfast lunch or dinner. This place has been here for many years and has gone through several transformations. If you are on the road and traveling North, then it's worth a stop because Popeye's and Burger King are too good fast food restaurants that you will enjoy.

A shell of what it once was. Literally it’s gone. What was wrong with the building before ?? Btw just know you cannot go here!! I used to love it but I’m just trying to help you with travels. I will repost this as a good review when there is a BUILDING there. There is a Sunoco tho. Apparently also CLOSED. Google please remove the old photos so people know what to expect, and that is sadly, nothing.

Burger King and Popeyes are awesome. Along with Starbucks and a convenient store. Bathrooms are always clean.

Car and truck parking on side and behind of rest area. Popeye's, Burger King and Starbucks on site as well as a small convenience store. Clean rest rooms.

Saw the Starbucks sign, was the main reason for my stop. I paid the outrageous price for gas(one stop shop?) Bathroom was super clean ! πŸ‘Œ Starbucks was closed , no info on open and close times. 3pm I pulled up for some gas. You pay more for the convenience, but you still feel like you got robbed. Except the guy is not wearing a mask. Burger King was there. Half the lights in the place was off, Very dark.

This rest stop is sad. Only thing open at night. If you're lucky is BK's. Good luck finding an employee that should be working. Starbucks opens late morning and closes early afternoon. I don't think there after 5pm. So, no coffee for the road warriors. They should just knock it down. Put a 7/11 or Wawa in it's place.

This place is really perfect for anyone passing by and needing some rest. They completely renovated the place and it’s beautifully done with 3 of the best chains you could ask for: Burger King, Chik-fil-a, and Starbucks. Free wifi. Cleanest public restrooms. Plenty of space. Police pass by frequently. I don’t know what more anyone can ask for!?

My husband and I love the new building! Very clean restrooms, sitting spaces and parking areas. It's a great improvement from the previous service area. We wanted to try Chick-fil-a because we've heard great reviews about that particular restaurant. We waited on line, very long, ordered and then it took 25 minutes to get our food. We know they are new but they just kept taking orders without completing the orders they had previously taken. This was the only part we had problems with. They are not organized when it comes to completing orders of the people who have already paid. The food is worth every cent we paid! It was fresh, hot and overall delicious!!!! We definitely recommend them, if you don't mind waiting 20 minutes or more for your food.

This stop off the 87 North has been completely renovated and is brand new. Great food options (Chick FIL A, Burger King, Starbucks, Apple green market) and the interior has a cozy lounge vibe with desks and laptop portals to work remotely. Am impressed and enjoyed just sipping my coffee munching on Chick FIL A waffle fries while surfing the internet. Highly recommend making this your stop. Nicest one I've seen in a very long time. Clean and easy access off the thruway.

It was not open. The Sunoco next to it was. They had two portapots with no paper.

Newly remodeled it is a pleasure to stop to pick up coffee, food or a souvenir. The Starbucks has a drive thru which is a plus.

The Ardsley travel plaza on the New York State Thruway has finally reopened. I'll miss Popeyes, but this new structure is much brighter and airier than the one it replaced. The outdoor seating is a nice touch. I was under the impression that He York had committed to having Electric z vehicle chargers at at Thruway rest stops. There were no EV chargers that I could see here at Ardsley.

They did a good job with the renovations, just trying to figure out why they'd give a contract out to a fast food chain that's not open on Sundays, the day most are wrapping up their road trips.

Renovations are finished, and it's open...wow, it's really nice, clean, lots of open space, place to charge phones, laptops, lots of seating inside and outside! The shop has the tourist NY souvenirs, honey from NY, and lots of drinks and snacks. Great job!!!

Clean, bright, spacious, much better offerings than the previous plaza. The Starbucks employees were working hard and smiling. Nice atmosphere here. Several picnic tables too.

Very disappointed in the size of this travel plaza. The initial parking lot (all you can see when you pull in) only has 31 parking spots. There is another lot on the far side of the building but you can't see it until you leave. Though I love Chick-fil-a, not being open on Sundays certainly limits traveler's choices for meals. It is inappropriate that as I walk towards the women's rest room I can see men standing at the urinals in the men's room! Food at the Grab-n-Go looks fresh and good however $6.99 for 1 pre-packaged muffin is a lot of money for little food.

Still a few things to improve like keeping the parking lot clean but last night was poring down also nothing you can do about uneducated trough garbage on the parking lot that’s it’s littering well system of cameras

Excellent service area on the New York State Thruway. The Ardsley Service Area is located on I-87 northbound between exit 6A (Stew Leonard Drive) and exit 7 (Ardsley - NY Route 9A). The facility is more than 14,000 square feet. Restaurant options include: Burger King Chick-fil-A (opening soon) Starbucks (Drive-Thru) Applegreen Market Store Taste NY Food and Drink Products Other amenities include: Outdoor seating Farm market space Private Nursing Area Digital Tourism Kiosk Four level 3 high speed EV chargers

This renewed rest stop gets crowded around 2:30 in the afternoon with many visitors coming to get food from the Chick-fil-A restaurant there. The parking lot gets full, and there's not much space to walk around inside with all the people waiting in lines because of that restaurant. Chick-fil-A needs to open more restaurants in Westchester County and in the Bronx.

The parking on the entrance side is ridiculous! When you enter and drive through, looking for a spot, you can't do anything because it's a one way, so you can't go back to another open spot. If you're not familiar with this stop, you don't know there is more parking on the other side. Horrible design! If you can find a spot and get inside, the service is terrible and unacceptably slow! Either train your people better, or fire the ones you have and hire employees that will work. I won't stop here again

Clean, great atmosphere, and amazing restaurants! They have Chick Fil-A and Starbucks next to each other... you can only imagine how long the line is! If you need to make a quick stop, wouldn't recommend doing Chick Fil-A because its very crowded considering that its the only one in the area....

I usually stop here late nights for a short nap and to use the bathroom after returning from the city. The place is always lean to include the bathroom. I've never had any issues here. Burger King is the only food store open late nights. It would get a 5 star rating if there were more food options late nights.

I usually stop here to either purchase fuel or coffee and to use the restroom; like most travel stops, there is a Starbucks, and three other fast food chains for a quick breakfast or lunch; its very clean and the sales associates know their jobs.
