Amazing breakfast! The coffee was exceptional. The pumpernickel bread was exceptional. The Swedish French toast (fattiga riddare) is exceptional. Charcuterie from local farms. Incredibly flavorful bacon. Cannot recommend the breakfast enough.

Breakfast: Breakfast buffet. Coffee and hot food served to the table. Not much to choose from, but the quality of the things that was served was good. I especially enjoyed the french toast. Lunch: Great service and beautiful atmosphere. It felt as if I was here for a treat even though I was about to "just grab some lunch". The price is higher than other places, but I would say that it is great place if you want to bring your family/friends to a nice lunch. The schnitzel was not the best I had, but well made. The creme brulee was great. Don't forget their freshly ground coffee either! The lunch was fully booked when we visited, so it is good to book the lunch in beforehand if you want to make sure that they will have a seat for you.

Note: this review is just about the restaurant We had a wonderful tasting menu experience. The food and service was absolutely amazing Pro tip: come on a weekday as the tasting menu is 100 kr less. We had most of the restaurant to ourselves on a Thursday date night

Elegant restaurant and tastefully created dishes that will provide you with a unique experience. Each dish is a creative combination of colours and flavors! We were a party of four and had a 3 course meal with pairing wine and were pretty delighted. The portions are small but common to such type of restaurant. The staff was helpful and all in all a good experience.

Villa Anna is a luxury hotel and restaurant. Located in the middle of the city, between Uppsala Cathedral and Uppsala Castle. This is not a everyday joint for the average joe and I would recommend you to visit if you want a really special time. Whatever you decide for whether it is the 3, 4 or 6 course dinner I advise you also let them recommend wines to each dish. The combinaions of dish and beverage have been meticulously planned and I promise you will taste a huge difference when grabing a bite and doing the same with what’s in you glass. The restaurant, service level and feel of every part of Villa Anna is exclusive and they will take amazing care of you. Even though expensive I would highly recommend it if you want to experience something really special.

Got a nice place to sit, but then after that we were pretty much left to our own devices. We were there for afternoon tea. Food was okay, but there weren't any serving cutlery for the jams and spreads and there was no cream to go with the tiny scones. I had also asked specifically, prior to the visit, if there would be options for my brother who doesn't eat grain. They said that wouldn't be a problem, but there really wasn't much there he could eat. If they had at least told us this then he could have skipped this or we could have or organised to do something else.

Fantastic luxury hotel - highly recommended for a relaxing getaway from Stockholm! Good food, good service and high tech rooms with comfortable beds and lavish bathrooms.

Great food in a historic setting. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The price may seem daunting, but you get what you pay for. However, I get the feeling that they put presentation before taste, as some of the courses seemed overdesigned, with the taste experience being an afterthought. Nothing tasted bad, just not as good as it looked it would.

Well-located, upscale, slightly pretentious restaurant with several inside rooms and a heated terrace. I enjoyed a nice fish (variety of salmon and herring) buffet lunch on the terrace for a reasonable price. They had a small jazz band playing outside.

Following the frustration of a cancelled flight home, my family and I spent the night at Villa Anna. The rooms were excellent and the service was on point. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at!
