First things first: Although I have a thing or two to mention about our stay, I gave 5 stars nonetheless, because the good things by far outweigh the small downsides. The Service was perfect, everyone was super friendly and helpful without seeming to put up an act! The rooms are modern, comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was good but a little more variation would have been nice. The view from our room on the mountains behind the hotel was absolutely amazing. Wellness and the sauna were quiet, clean and a nice place to relax after a day of hiking. And now for the only downside: Unfortunately at times it was quite noisy on the balcony and porch because of the nearby road. It's nothing I would blame the hotel for, because it obviously cannot move, but it kills the vibe while gazing at the mountain tops with a glass of wine in your hand on your balcony. Other than that the hotel is in a higher price range, but you get what you pay for. So from an objective perspective everything is fine. For me personally it was a little too expensive in comparison to the other places in Slovenia we stayed at during our stay.

We had an amazing stay in Triangel. The staff was incredibly professional and responded to all our needs. Both the common wellness and separate wellness were relaxing. Also, breakfast was probably our favorite thing in Triangel - we loved the smoked trout, pancakes and granola. Rooms were spotless and super comfortable. We also recommend renting bikes - we rode to Italy and it was just perfect. Our only ”constructive feedback” would be the placement of the TV as it was high up near the ceiling :D Just kidding, we barely had any time to watch TV so it’s all good. Hopefully we have the chance to come back and visit again!

We had a perfect stay in this hotel with a stunning view from our balcony, a quiet and big room with bathing tube. Breakfast was very tasty and the stuff was super friendly. Wellness area is great as well. You can start hiking right from the hotel. We can recommend the 5 courses tasting menu with wine pairing. That was the cherry on the cake during our stay :)

Amazing hotel stayed with family this August. The spa is wonderful- very relaxing. The apartments are beautiful and spacious perfect for a family. The setting of the hotel is also beautiful with the gorgeous backdrop of mountains. Also the restaraunt was great!

We had wonderful times in Triangel. Clean room, scenic view, helpful and kind staffs..Everything was perfect. Especially, my kids loved a camp fire that you made every night. We are missing a room, meals at restaurant, mountain tops, fresh air and everything. We stayed for 3 nights this year, but my kids want to be for 4 nights next year! Hope to see you soon! :)

We recently stayed 5 nights at this excellent boutique hotel…we were in search of a comfortable property with good food located close to the mountains. Hotel Triangel exceeded all our expectations easily! The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - especially when my hiking boot soles came apart… They had an extensive knowledge of the local hiking trails. The room was very comfortable with an excellent bed and plenty of room for a longer stay. We ate at the restaurant most nights and worked our way very happily through the menu and the excellent local wine list. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

We had the pleasure of being your guests for three nights and had room #10. A large room in the roof with high ceilings and a very good bed. The breakfast was very good and varied. We had a good dinner 2 times and could enjoy the great view in a nice atmosphere. The staff was always very friendly. Next time we would take a room with mountain view as the street side is quite noisy.

We did not stay here, but came for dinner while staying elsewhere. This was without a doubt one of the ten best meals of my life. Beautifully prepared, delicious food with an absolutely exquisite alpine backdrop. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and give the restaurant a try. You won't regret it.

We celebrated my partner's birthday at this hotel, and the staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. Their assistance in planning the surprise trip was invaluable, and the entire stay was fantastic. The attention to our dietary restrictions during the amazing dinner was much appreciated. We are genuinely looking forward to returning to this wonderful establishment.

This was an extraordinary stay. Rm.11 is perhaps the most luxurious stay we've ever had. Every aspect of the service was top shelf. Each meal was a culinary delight. Breakfasts were abundant and of the highest quality. Two beautiful waterfalls can be accessed by hiking from the hotel. This is a beautiful area, and exceptional hotel and staff and we would consider ourselves fortunate to be able to return. This was a wonderful 20th anniversary stay.

Great restaurant. Fine service and very polite service waiters and staff. Food and wine is good quality and the price is very reasonable. So only a five star review is possible!

Beautiful hotel, nice rooms, good service, but unfortunately we had many "but". We had apartment for 1 night. First of all nowhere in the booking description is written there will be extra 100€ charge for cleaning, very unpleasant surprise while you check out. Should be on description while booking! Second: very very noisy street by the hotel and we wanted to close the windows and turn on condition to make the noise less but conditioner wasn't working! It was around 22 when we found out that and no one could help us with this problem, reception was closed. Third: lights from that street are very bright and the curtains don't block light from street lights at all. So we had a really bad sleep. Also would be very helpful if there were information in the room about breakfast, spa, reception and etc. working hours and prices. And I wish apartment had coffee machine with capsules and tea. I repeat that hotel is very modern and beautiful and stuff are very helpful and nice but particular our room had problems. If you decided to stay in that hotel just make sure that windows of the bedroom are facing other side of the road! There many places to see around. They are truly spectacular! Walking distance from the hotel waterfalls and also special track for bicycles. You can rent bicycles in the hotel.

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful Hotel so much! First of all, a huge compliment to all the hotel staff: super friendly and professional. Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic! Our room had a great view of the mountains and was spotlessly clean! We were very sad when our stay was over. we'll definitely be back!

We had a great stay. Fantastic room (very clean) with a great view. Good shower and a very nice breakfast. The omelette was amazing. The restaurant was very good . And a nice walk next to the parking to a waterfall within 30 minutes.

Charming boutique hotel. Spacious and nicely furnitured rooms. cleaned every day. Very good restaurant. Peaceful location, but ... please note that the nearby road has a surprisingly heavy traffic. Therefore it is a big difference between rooms with the mountain view and street view. Those with mountain view (which we chose) are terrific!
