Always, always always love ❤️ coming to the Big Grove tap house when I’m in Des Moines. I’m in love 🥰 with the cauliflower wings which comes with blue cheese dip and ranch as well. Of course the big and hot salty pretzel 🥨 is also a favorite. Yummy food, really fabulous service and always an electric vibe. They serve great eats and drinks. They have specialty brews and spritzers infused with cannabis to take home or enjoy while there. Always lively and seasonally adjusted beverages with fan favorite bites. Never get enough of this amazing place. We dined for lunch and everyone had fast service and good comfort foods. I’ll be back for sure. If you haven’t been there yet give it a try. Really low key but also sublime.

Big Grove is a big place with big food and big drinks and fun times for all. There's a ton of seating indoors and on the patio and astroturf, so you can relax with friends and play Cornhole or watch the game inside or more. Tons of beers on tap for whatever kind you like to sip, and ciders and wines as well. Menu is yummy, with your typical burgers and fries but also options like Thai green curry, which I got and enjoyed. It's easy to spend hours here

The food here was really good. The Royal Easy Eddy was my favorite beer. We will definitely be back. The inside of the taphouse was very spacious.

So much to say about this place. The atmosphere is great, plenty of space for people to gather and talk. There are 2 fully stocked bars and a nice patio area too. The food is out of this world delicious. They don't have an extensive menu here but everything we got was fantastic. The star was the fire chicken bao buns. There were a couple of downfalls, the noise was a little loud and the service was terrible. To be honest if we would have a different server this place would have gotten 5 stars for sure! I have put this place on my favorites list and already have plans to go back to try other menu items!

Great atmosphere. Beer was good. Food was kind of pricey for its quality. Saw our waiter a total of 4 times in the 90 minutes we were there.

Great atmosphere including bar and patio area. Every beer I tried was excellent, which included the West Eddy IPA, Rye Rustic Farmhouse Ale, and the Satisfied Fool Lager. The Farmhouse burger was fantastic as well as the fries that came on the side. I highly recommend stopping in, you will not be disappointed.

This is a wonderful gathering spot to meet up with small or even large groups. They have so much space! Plus, it's a beautiful space to grab a drink in a nice day! We love taking visitors from out of state here. Their beers are also delicious. Service has always been decent (quick and friendly). This is all I can speak on since I have not tried their food. Our recent visitors enjoyed their seltzer so much they had requested for two cases of the seltzer to take back to Kentucky next time we visit.

Fantastic gathering point for groups to meet, chill, eat and drink. I love the outdoor space and their picnic tables can seat 9-10 if needed. The menu has a lot of variety, but I think their appetizers are the best. The pretzel and the cauliflower wings are unbelievable. The cauliflower wings are better than the chicken even—that good. They have cocktails, seltzers, and beer so there’s something for everyone. Plenty of parking around. We’ll definitely be back here!

As Wonka might say, “Scrum-didility-umptious!” This is not our first experience with B.G.B., but it was our first time at their Des Moines location. First the atmosphere… Inviting, cozy booths, yet open. Not to mention the chairs at the tables are actually cushioned! Had it not been for the weather, we would have been on the patio! Service was prompt and everyone personable. Jen answered all our questions and even got a quick tour and history of the building from Jack. The food, above average. Thai Green Curry! I’m not sure of the authenticity of this dish, but I found a new cuisine to explore back home. The giant pretzel was a little on the sweet side. Chili was hearty and flavored perfectly. I shouldn’t need to comment on the drinks. If you haven’t heard of Easy Eddy, prepare your beer palette!
