This is simply a great hotel with exceptional customer service, spacious and well appointed rooms with spectacular ocean views and wonderful location. We were visiting with a teen and she loved the hotel. Although we reached Palma earlier in the day (around 10:30 am) and the regular check-in time is 3 pm. Sandra from the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous and she not only upgraded our room but also had the room ready for us at around 11 am. That's exceptional customer service. The room (premium triple room with ocean view) was very spacious and the balcony/porch to the ocean was HUGE which was like another room by itself. The hotel has 3 very good restaurants and incredible view of the ocean with a semi private beach. It was a short stay this time but we will definitely be back - wonderful value for money.

Stayed here for 8 days and would have enjoyed staying longer. The staff were very friendly, helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. It felt like we were staying in a old style luxury grand 5 star hotel from-the start due to the architecture and location, but with contemporary touches. Champagne breakfast with great choices definitely worth having as an option, and eating this on the terrace overlooking the sea, what a fantastic vista to start the day. Beach front location with easy access to the beach but with the choice of bathing on the terrace or use of the pool with hydro therapy massage options. Spa was amazing, again with great views, hydra therapy massage, steam and sauna, the covid measures in place in the spa made it feel both a safe space and afforded privacy too.

I had a very pathetic experience. I choose this property for my vacation and ended up regretting. Initially when I checked in the staff was nice but on the day I was checking out they misbehaved with my husband, shouted at him for no reason and threw the bill on the floor. The executive at the reception banged his hand on the table and kept misbehaving. This hotel does not deserve to be known as the five star. Bad hospitality and we will never recommend anybody to book their stay with this hotel. Five star hotels never say no to their guests for any service or request but this wasn’t the case here. And in fact before check out they did not inform us about the extra charges and told us very rudely if u don’t check out in 15 mins we will charge you the xyz amount. We asked for a feedback form but they never gave us that too. Highly unsatisfied with them and was a huge mistake to choose them for my vacation

This lovely Palace is located very close to the city center of Palma, all the staff is very kind and very professional. They do their best to make you feel like you're at home. Rooms are wonderful with wonderful mattresses and linens. View from the hotel is breathtaking. The restaurant is also very tasty. By far the best 5 stars hotel in Mallorca. See you soon and thank you for everything like always !

The rooms are nicely appointed but could use a little updating though very well maintained. The wait staff and lobby attendants are top, top, top notch. The food is truly delicious! The beach right outside the back door is fantastical. Would definitely stay again

Almost five stars. Wonderful location , friendly staff, excellent food at the restaurant and great service at the bar . Very warm welcome on arrival and check-in. Pool quite petite … but there again you have the entire med at your feet . Only downside on our side was we booked 4 nights but hotel requested us to change our rooms after 2 nights. A 5% gesture was made but would have preferred a seamless stay . Would stay again .

Palace with a view of tranquil Blue Ocean Waters. What a fantastic place to stay. If you'd like something quiet and relaxing, it doesn't get better than this. There's great food in the hotel and great food within walking distance. The water is warm and beautiful. The concierge and the front desk staff are extremely friendly. They can help you with currency exchange and they had a great rate. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the wonderful Nixe Palace Hotel for two weeks to celebrate my birthday and our wedding anniversary and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. When we arrived, we were greeted by the very friendly Stef on reception who was extremely helpful. We were offered complementary drinks on arrival which was a nice touch and very refreshing. We had a beautiful Superior room with a large terrace on the sixth floor with wonderful sea views. The room was cleaned every day and fresh drinking water was provided daily. The breakfast buffet was very good and you could also order from the menu. The hotel pool was on the small side but that didn’t bother us as we went to the beautiful beach which you can access through the hotel. All beaches in Mallorca are public beaches. Two sun lounges and a sunshade costs €19 per day. The nice thing is that the hotel provides guests with towels for the beach. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thank you to Nina from Guest Services who informed us about the various must see sights, and who also arranged for complementary newspapers to be delivered to our room. You can get to Palma, either by taxi or by the number 4 bus. The bus stop is about 50 meters from the hotel. Most bus drivers are friendly and helpful, apart from one. There are a number of restaurants nearby and a couple of supermarkets but not much else in the surrounding area which was a little disappointing. For lots of sights and shopping we went in to Palma and the indoor shopping mall in Portopi. On my birthday, a bottle of champagne and chocolates were delivered to our room and a cake with two glasses of champagne were also delivered to our breakfast table which was a lovely surprise. All the staff couldn’t do enough for us, they were so friendly. It was also a surprise and a privilege to have been introduced to the Director of the hotel. All in all we would like to thank all the staff at the Nixe Palace Hotel for making our stay a very memorable experience.

The hotel is a very nice hotel, with the best location on the island. The rooms was worn out, they need renovation of all the rooms and hall-ways. The breakfast was very good, the area close to the beach excellent. I just wish they said no smoking on the territory, as a few is polluting the air for the majority.

Okay stay. Not quite a 5-star. Honeymooned here and staff wasn’t super friendly and not overly helpful. Charged us $6 one morning for water and had to pay $19 for beach lounge chairs (open to the public also). Glad we stayed on a beach vs. in Palma! Rooms were nice, but amenities weren’t great. They also rented out the resort for a conference during our stay and cut short pool times, which was annoying. No heads up. Definite bonus is the gorgeous beach right below. Loved Mallorca, so would go back, but probably not to this resort.

Wish I could give it 6 stars. Beautiful beach, excellent pool and great service. This is paradise for a couple to get away and relax at. Food is great as well. Had nachos at the pool bar, that I went back for the second day. No microwave cheese out of a jar if you know what I mean. It is away from the city center but we hopped on the number 4 bus for 2 euros and it takes you right to the old Town. Bus stop is about three hundred feet left out the front door. Have fun exploring.

The pictures are seriously deceiving.. the guest service is so bad I wrote an email to the manager complaining about the room and other things and never received a reply. I guess it shows how the hotel cares about costumer service. Extreme Over prices

A beautiful hotel with spectacular outside views of the Mediterranean sea. Adjacent to a beautiful beach and on a high place with a cool breeze. Accessible to public transport and other important social amenities. Why not considering Hotel Nixe for wedding anniversary, birthday party, honeymoon or holiday with your friends or spouse? You will definitely get the value of your money and time.

The location directly on a small sandy beach is perfect. The hotel restaurant La Popa is highly recommended. (especially the fish in a salt coat). The hotel itself is a bit outdated and the service could be a bit more customer-friendly for a 5-star hotel.

When booking a five-star hotel, one is accustomed to a certain-level of service and fit-for-purpose accommodations. Yes, the view is nice. Yes, the restaurant may be their only saving grace. However, the rest of the hotel, including their staff are an utter disappointment. First, to start off with the accommodations. The hotel looks decent from the outside but could definitely do with a makeover. The interior of the hotel is quite dated and seems to be trapped in the 1990's. For a beachfront hotel, the lighting and interior decoration is very dark. The hallways are poorly lit and the rooms have very heavy wood panelling and furniture (very chipped and run-down looking). There is a musty smell in the air and we overall did not enjoy being in our rooms. Furthermore, our first evening, there was a really whiny sound in our room for which we had to call the engineer. The engineer then proceeded to bang on our air conditioner vent until the whining noise went away... A very bizarre and disconcerting incident. Our coffee machine was also broken and there was no provision of any water beyond the first day. Basic things that one expects were completely lost in this disappointing accommodation. Second, the service. The service was probably one of the worst forms of hospitality that I have received whilst staying at an 'alleged' five star hotel. The staff are quite snobbish and condescending. There is zero drive to ever go above and beyond, if anything, the staff act as though your enquiry or request is such a great disturbance in their day. For instance, we wanted to reserve some time at the spa. We asked the front desk if we could reserve a time and they told us that they were unable to help and we had to go downstairs to the spa to speak to someone. We navigated down to the spa to find that there was no one present at the desk. After waiting for about 10 minutes, we filled out a form with our enquiry for a reservation, including our phone number / room number for confirmation. Over the remaining course of our stay, we heard nothing back. In general, any type of question or feedback to the staff was received with derision. If you read some of the more negative reviews of this hotel, you will note the nasty replies by the hotel and their inability to admit any fault or wrongdoing. I'm sure I will get a snarky reply to this review by the hotel as well. They claim that excellent service is forefront, but we found this to be quite an untrue statement. The final nail in the coffin for us was one evening when the hotel was celebrating their 25th anniversary. The hotel decided to close off the pool bar and the restaurant for the day (which we can understand). However, loud music and fireworks blared past midnight when we had an early flight to catch the next day. The lack of consideration for their guests (as if we were second tier citizens compared to their party attendees) was palpable and severely disappointing. I think if I had to really sum-up the core of my discontent. It is the fact that there was a loss of any care for their guests or any level of anticipation of needs. Everything is just a little more difficult. Toiletries are missing (and you are required to call the front desk for provision of anything outside of soap / shampoo). The service in the restaurant is extremely slow (we had to flag our waiter multiple times for the menu, refills, ordering, the bill, etc.). The front desk staff should not be in the hospitality industry if they despise their guests so much. Overall, the communication was quite poor across the board. This trip was supposed to be a wonderful occasion. What was expected to be a wonderful and pleasant stay turned into us counting down the days to escape this terrible hotel and its equally horrible staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who expects a basic level of service. If Nixe is celebrating their 25th anniversary, I would advise them question whether they have anything worth celebrating.

We just wanted somewhere easy for a few days in Palma. I booked this place in advance and to be honest it was fine. The family room we had was on the ground floor and was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were fine. We didn't try the restaurant, but the bar service was fine and the prices were pretty good. The only downside is it's location, which is a €10 taxi ride into the centre of Palma, or a 1 hour walk. If you're on a budget this is a good place to consider.

We cannot recommend this hotel enough. We have had impeccable service and attention from the moment we booked. the hotel were happy to move our pre-paid booking several times due to covid which was more than generous. They moved us from our original room which we found too noisy from the breakfast restaurant above us, to an upgraded beautifully decorated room with an amazing terrace with our own sun loungers. All staff were gracious and nothing too much trouble.

Fabulous hotel! All the staff were amazing - friendly, always helpful and provided immaculate service. The hotel is beautiful, very clean everywhere. Food and drinks were fantastic and we loved sitting on the balconies to have breakfast and lunch. Brilliant service for the car too, took away a lot of stress. Very sad to leave but will be back!

The hotel is directly on a beautiful sandy beach, which was good for swimming and sunbathing. It is walking distance to many great restaurants and shops. The room had an amazing view of the ocean and beach. The best of all was the service - the employees were very friendly. The fact that our check-in with Aora and check-out with Emi was so wonderful, we will be coming back again!! Best regards, Reinhard and Victoria

The lifeguards are stupid. You can't go into the water up to your ankles because it starts whistling. The waves are almost non-existent! The hotel is superb, but unfortunately it does not have a beach! I do not recommend the visit!

We had a wonderful break. The hotel is excellent. The staff were lovely and the location by the beach is fantastic. We had a great meal in the restaurant and we particularly liked the beach bar where the staff were very good. The receptionists were also extremely helpful. The only problem we had was that our room was above the Events room, and the singer/DJ/PA was literally below our window! It would have been helpful if we had been warned and told the finishing times because we had no idea if the events were going to end at midnight, 2am…… In the end it was not too bad - always finishing before midnight. If we had known the timings we would have simply adjusted our plans. We strongly recommend the hotel, but suggest guests check what events there are near their room.

Beautiful hotel amd very friendly staff. They were all amazing and went out of their way to accommodate us. The beach is a few steps away and the food was amazing everyday. We loved it!

We're definitely coming back. Very chilled atmosphere and lovely staff. The hotel and sunbed terraces open directly onto the beach which is great. The pool is a bit small but not heavily used, although you could argue that you don't need a pool when the sea is so close. There's lots of nice restaurants in the neighbourhood, much better quality than you would find in many parts of the island, and you're only 15-20 mins from Palma by car.

The hotel is great overall. However, I must say the rooms are quite outdated. Excellent location, steps away from the beach! Service is good. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the food as well!Beautiful sun deck and (a small) swimming pool.

This used to be my favorite short stay hotel on the island but I am afraid to say that I have just checked out from a weeks stay and am absolutely shocked at how far this hotel has slipped. Starting off, the general attitude of a large number of staff in the hotel is atrocious. Everything we asked for seemed like an effort, even a simple request for a cup of coffee was met with a roll of the eyes and a certain disdain. Secondly, the rooms. The phone in the room never worked, the mini bar was never restocked , there was no bottle opener , the cleaning was poor. Thirdly , the parking has an additional cost of 16 euros per day, every time by car was brought to me I found that my car seats had been moved to a different extremely long legged position. I could go on and on but I wont bore you with all of the details. To sum it up, I remember this hotel being a fantastic place to stay, unfortunately it has slipped so far that I shall not be returning and would not recommend the hotel to friends or family. The worst part of all …. The ugly attitude of a lot of the staff members - these people should not be allowed to work with the public, let alone public in a 5 star hotel. Such a shame

Great 5 star Hotel situated on Cala mayor beach. Good size rooms in very decent “spec”. Perfect breakfast served outside ( if you so choose). A great choice if you want to combine beach with the city of Palma.

I would like to give a higher score however, after travelling from 3am and two flights, we arrived to find that the booking I had made the previous week was for 2024 not 2023. Sandra on Reception was very understanding and said to contact Booking.com. She advised me that it was fully booked but she would see what she could do. I spent over 30 mins on the phone to booking.com who tried to remedy the situation. We were advised that a room could be made available if we paid an extra €670.00. Reservations were apparently understanding of our situation as well however Management wanted more money. In the end we reluctantly agreed because honestly we were so tired from our trip all we wanted was a room. So what would have been a wonderful stay was soured by Management taking advantage. There is a saying ‘People over Profit’ and in this situation profit won out.

I had such a lovely stay at this beautiful hotel! The staff were so kind and accommodating, it really made our trip to Mallorca so special. I rarely leave reviews but feel inclined to pass along this gem.

Everything was excellent from the reception, to the rest of the staff and the room was beautiful with an exceptional view. One small remark: nothing to grab hold of in the shower which is quite slippery and for elderly people such as we are a real hazard.

We had a fantastic stay at Nixe Palace, from the moment we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. The first impression I had walking into reception was wow!! as I was faced with a fantastic view from the balcony overlooking the beach it is stunning!. Our hotel room was beautiful and clean again the same amazing view from the balcony. The variety of choice at breakfast is everything you could possibly ask for. We would definitely stay at the Nixe Palace again :-)

The location is the only good thing. Hotel, rooms are not near 5 star. Not the cleanliest. Breakfast is not really worth it, staff barely offer assistance and when they do it’s never accurate. Appalling to see this under hotels santos.

The hotel location was perfect. It had magnificant views and the taxi ride to the city center of Palma was only 11€. The service at the hotel was exceptional and they made everything in order to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was excellent and as we had allergies the breakfast personnell made special breakfast for us every morning automatically according to our wishes. We also really enjoyed the Spa of the hotel. Would have loved to stay longer but we will definitely come back!

Lovely hotel, if a little over priced (at full price). Some incredibly attentive staff (we experienced at reception and at dinner) but others could provide a little more customer service. The sunset and sunrise were incredible (with the sea view rooms) and the breakfast was a generous spread.

I loved this hotel. It's truly a luxury hotel. The turnover service is amazing, the hotel staff is amazing, the dining is spectacular and nothing beats the views. I hope I'm lucky enough to return one day.

the property is beautiful and the views are breathtaking, especially at sunset. nina, the concierge, was also so helpful in planning a wine tour for us and making sure we got exactly what we were looking for. it was definitely a highlight of the trip. the beds were pretty comfortable and i had a corner room- so it had a lot of natural light and was extremely spacious. however the other people in my party did not have as nice of a room- it was pretty dark and cramped. and although my room looked great, i was repeatedly woken up every day at 6:30-7am by loud disruptive noises because the room is directly under the breakfast buffet. i was told this was because the staff had to set up for breakfast, so it was a lot of tables and chairs being scraped and dragged across the floor and heavy steps and clanking/banging. and this would continue the whole morning when guests would get up for breakfast once it opened at 8am. i told the reception about this issue, hoping they would accommodate in some way, but they really didn’t do anything. so unfortunately i could never sleep in as i would have hoped on a vacation.

Amazing hotel, staff is truly professional, rooms and communal areas spotlessly clean. No smell of cleaning products just a fine smell of Bulgari perfume everywhere.Towels changed twice a day, beach towels given daily. This was our second time at Nixe Palace. I got the room I wanted (the family suite). It is very unusual for a hotel to give you the room you want especially in high season but both times Juan from reservations did it. Thank you to absolutely everyone at Nixe Palace for making once again our holiday truly unforgettable.

When you pay 1180€ for 2 nights you expect a 5* hotel. It was like 3* and I wouldn’t pay more than 150€ per night. It is so normal. Pool bad. Hotel room normal. Breakfast horrible. Lunch and dinner regular to bad. Everything looks old and sooo normal! Not to be paid more than 150€ per night in high season!!!

Came for an extended weekend with my dad and really enjoyed it. I asked for a quiet room and got a room at the very end of the hallway, which was very appreciated. The breakfast was great, big selection and a really good quality. The view is amazing from every room and we loved having the beach chairs inside the hotel, where we could leave also some stuff and go directly to the beach from there. I would definitely come again, thanks for the great service!!

Excellent stay. The cleanliness is second to none. The hotel is immaculate. The staff are friendly. The food is lovely. We ate breakfast every morning and couldn't fault it. Service could have been a little better and a bit more prompt for ordering off menu but the selection was fantastic. The views over the beach and sea were beautiful. Definitely worth the upgrade. The only down side is there wasn't much for kids to do, it didn't bother us too much as we took our 3 year old on the beach every day. Overall we would stay here again xxx

Disrespectful! Noisy! A 5 stars hotel that completely disrespects the law of silence after 22h RUINING THE VACATION of EVERYONE who is hosted at this beach to relax. Events outside with loud music and lots of noise! Can’t believe the city law is not respected! What a shameful behavior for a so called 5 stars…
