Stopped off here 10 minutes before my bus was due as I do most mornings before I get the bus to work. Usually a welcoming young man called Ben serving or a lovely lady with half blue half pink hair always service with a smile. Serve me speedily as they know I’m usually in a hurry to get my morning coffee fix before the bus haha. Sometimes I get a pastry too pain au chocolat or croissant. They’re usually fresh and flaky and set me up for the day. Just wish the counter looked a lot fuller a lot of the times when I get there (about 9am) the counter only has one of each sandwich for display and looks a bit empty whether that’s for freshness reasons maybe in case the display isn’t refrigerated maybe? Anyways great crew with great customer service skills and speedy service when needed. Set me up for the day most mornings. :)

Fast service and good food, a little bit pricey but still acceptable

I came in today and was served by Jamila. She’s a lovely lady and excellent service..... great place, the service is really good. The atmosphere is great and I will go back and will definitely recommend.

Ugh. Talk about depressing. There's no menu, hardly anything on display. Went for a sausage and cheese roll. Asked for it hot thinking it would actually be cooked as it looked anemic. It was microwaved. Absolutely rank. Overpriced. Horrible.

Stopped here to buy a bite to eat. A young friendly lady called Jamila helped me choose the right items. She had lovely welcoming smile too! Keep it up Jamila. Hope to see u when travelling to London again around Xmas.

Popped in for a coffee and hot chocolate for myself and partner, greeted by very friendly staff at the counter (Ben and charlotte). Both were quick to say hello and happy to recommend products on request. Very knowledgeable about what products they recommend and not rushed as you can be in other coffee shops.

Staff in here are always really helpful and friendly. Jamilla usually here on a Friday and it's always a pleasure to be served by her. Food is great, baguette are good value.

A convenient and awesome coffee shop in Manchester coach station. If you are lucky to be served by Charlotte, you will receive a smile, warm and friendly approach, and exceptionally quick service. She also makes amazing coffee and the food here is great if you need to grab a snack / sandwich before your journey.

This Upper Crust quickly became our go-to spot during our recent stay in Manchester. Being close to the hotel, we usually brought some baguettes with us when heading out for some energy on the go since they were really fresh and ready fast. There was this really sweet girl Charlotte who helped us figure out the public transportation and was just overall cheerful and attentive. Will def return next time we visit :)

I was served by an excellent young lady named charlotte. After a long day week, I thought I would treat myself to something a little bit different for lunch, so off I went to Upper Crust in the coach station, I had been slammed with back to back meetings all week and a headache that had been lingering since last week. Regardless of my ever lasting headache, the young lady behind the counter who served me could not have been more helpful, her up beat and positive attitude, left a lasting impression which really brighten my day. So thank you Charlotte, you are a shinning example of how little interactions with individuals has a lasting impression on others day. The coffee and the service was outstanding, so again a big thank you from a very headache induced person!

My favourite place to go for my morning coffee. There's a good selection of hot/cold drinks, sandwiches, baguettes and snacks available. The prices are reasonable, too. All the staff are polite and welcoming, but a special shout out goes to the beautiful Monica, who's always a pleasure to see and talk to. Keep up the good work guys ☺

The customer service was top notch. The baguette was very fresh and tasty, and the coffee is up there with the best I've ever had. Can tell the manager runs this place well and has an eye for detail. Cleanliness was immaculate and all the products were stocked and clearly labelled. I'll be visiting again.

Came here for a quick bite to eat and some coffee to hold me over after a long flight from the US. I'd heard a few stories about the customer service in the UK(and Europe) compared to the US, but this shop proved them all wrong! Charlotte's customer service skills were excellent and really helped put me at ease while exploring a new country. Surprisingly, the coffee was also strong enough to help banish some of the jet-lag as well! I would definitely recommend this place just for the excellent customer service I received from Charlotte and the coffee alone! 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵
