Horrible part of Middlesbrough to visit. Only suitable if drunk!!

I am happy to never go here eva again. Drinks ok. Sticky carpets ugh

This place is legendary even in the true north of England. There’s legend of a bar tender so tall and handsome he makes Prince Charming look like a simp. Drinks flow like the fountains of heaven and the banter Morgan provides is crazy and always make me and my girlfriend feel incredibly welcome. We will always make time for flares Middlesbrough when he’s around, give him a promotion. X

This establishment needs to be investigated under health and safety and public protection act.. The safety of of public who enters this establishment is jeopardised. The door staff are incompetent and are nothing but employed Bullies.. verbally and physically abusing vunerable people who call the authorities when things don't go their way ???? Total waste of resources.. authorities need to investigate flares before a major incident happens because it is evitable in this run down place.

Flares is hands down the best place in Boro, can’t beat it for a night out. Music is class and the staff make the night even better. Had a class conversation with Erin behind the bar 🌟🌟🌟

Drink cost to much. And different prices on different days

Me and my friend who are full time mums and never get to go out on nights for a drinks or friend time. We were very excited about going to flares for a girls night. We are both 19. I understand you have rules in place to not let under 18s in your establishment, but the way the bouncers made my friend feel was totally out of order. They made her pull out every piece of identification, including cinema cards, bank details and social media. They still said it wasn’t her. Saying and I quote “ if I was you I’d get your ID CHANGED” and “it looked like her sister” who was in the car who dropped us off, they proceeded to basically interrogate my friend and her sister WHO IS ONLY 16 . Moral of the story, your bouncers who are there to protect costumers and staff, have judged my friend because she has put a bit of weight on, and her ID photo is from before she had her daughter. FAIR TO SAY WE WILL NOT BECOMING BACK. DISGUSTING

Had an amazing night the door staff are absolutely amazing and looked after me when there was a situation amazing music and a lot of friendly staff. Can’t wait for another night out here.

First time at Flares on Friday night. Bar staff great Door staff (young lady with long black hair) left a lot to be desired. Complained at the bar about her. Won't be cooming back.

Always a great night out here. 2 rooms, great music and friendly staff. Shout out the girl Sam I think, who let us know all the offers and prices to save money. Recommend you give this place a go.

I lost my phone and coat in flares on Saturday 8th October having contact with them the items were found and handed in they immediately got back to me am truly grateful Great service and would recommend this Great friendly place to have a great night out in Middlesbrough many thanks once again

Shocking venue. Pay to get in as a older gentleman, take my entry fee. Then whilst getting my 3rd drink get told to leave for wearing my cap by some young lady with life issues. Would not recommend. No refund given

Me and my friends come here fairly often and it’s always a good night. Most recent time we went we were served by Libby who was amazing. She gave us a bunch of suggestions of drinks and made our night even more enjoyable. Great service, thank you!

I really enjoyed my time here. It was a Friday night and I was with some new friends I met in a pub earlier. The atmosphere was excellent and service quick. The door staff couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. The music was a mix of 80's and 90's and really good. Definitely a place to visit of you are out for a late night when in Middlesbrough.

Overall isn't the greatest of places compared to how the town use; but overall it's a decent place for the younger generation who ain't experienced a real good night out

No night out is complete without ending up in Flares! There's a great atmosphere and I love the music, loads of 80s tracks. Sam behind the bar is lovely, she always gives amazing service and has great recommendations for the nicest drinks. Would definitely recommend you go there for your next night out!

Came to Middlesbrough for a weekend and tried Flares. It was a great decision. The staff who work there are great. Chloe and Erin behind the bar are amazing. Both great at handling big orders. Would 100% go again.
