Dealt with a Caribbean guy yesterday who served me at the customer counter. I have to say I was impressed at how much he knew and how ready he was to help me, even though I had turned up ill prepared to ask for what I needed. He helped me pick the items I needed by flicking through the catalogue with very professional knowledge. The items I received were of very good quality and extremely fair price. It was a pleasure to shop here and I will definitely return without hesitation.

Very helpful staff. Especially for those of us who make a hash of the codes frequently. Quick service. Good quality goods immediately available. Advantage over merchants is you can check stock online before travel.

Decent place with good stock levels. Staff are nice and very helpful - even got 2 sizes of high-vis polo shirts from stock so I could try them on for size (which I ended up buying one of them)!!

I wasn't sure what I was looking for, anyway Fiona approached me and asked if she could help. So I told her my problem and she told me I was looking for an interlocking screw..never knew there was such a thing. So she did her search on the computer and tried the first screw she had in mind, unfortunately they were too big, she gave me confidence she could help me and was very friendly, alas she found the right screw I was looking for now my webcam actually stands properly. Can't thank her enough for helping me. Top customer service.

First class services and decent prices

Had to say thank you to Esrar! After going to 3 different shops looking for a replacement tap cartridge and speaking to a few plumbers who didn't have clue about tap cartridges. Esrar showed me how to change the internal seal as they didn't have the correct replacement. The man's a gentleman and scholar!

Work clothes would be easier to order if you could filter under waist and length and not just waist. Spent ages looking for some that were in stock and the right size, having to click on every item to check stock. Maybe that was me though as I hadn't used their site before, but it wasn't very clear. Items were ready super fast at the store but on collection, the man who served me was quite rude. I'd never been in a screwfix store before and was met with a very abrupt man who just said "you buying or collectin"....yeah, good afternoon to you too! I told him I was collecting, he mumbled something about a 4 digit number, I asked him to repeat and he was clearly annoyed at that so he mumbled something again. I said I'll check my email for the order number. He said "forget it, what's your name?" I told him and he went to a girl at the counter and gave her my name. I then said my order number and he said "oh she has got it then" and left me with the girl. Will not step foot in there again, he definitely needs some training in customer service and basic manners

Went today to research home surveillance camera kits for my house. What a fantastic staff member named Ross was. Very patient going though the different ones. After asking Ross many questions I purchased a set up bundle. For excellent service, great friendly helpful staff go to Screwfix Rochdale and the prices are great value too!!

As there seems to be no way to contact a particular branch it is surely not too much to ask for an online facility which enable a potential customer to determine if a particular branch has in stock items for which a physically check is needed in order to choose which option is most suitable. I have no doubt that items bought online can be returned, exchanged or even cancelled at the point of pick up but it would save time. I have used just such a facility many times in the past with other companies. I enclose a screen shot of the items in question which I hoped to see in store in Rochdale. There are other options to do the job I require which I would have perhaps liked to explore.

I was at my wits end searching for an attachment for an impact drill..the guys at screwfix rochdale were so very very helpful, they new exactly which one I needed & even checked & showed me how to fix & use the attachment..they are diamond guys. Thanks a million from a very happy customer. 😊
