This place is AWESOME!! I got what I can only describe as "the experience of a lifetime" I 100% recommend anyone who has the opportunity to visit too. The experience provided me with such an adrenaline rush, and through my booking, I was able to acquire photos and videos of my entire flight experience. All the staff were polite, friendly, courteous, and seemed to know what they were doing- from the receptionists to the flight instructors. The experience was not so long that it got boring, and not so short that I felt unsatisfied- it was just the right duration. I really liked that. The suits and helmets were properly sanitised and theres an availability of refreshment for purchase. All in all, I hope I get to visit again

Cracking place. Firstly it is not cheap but it's unique. Both my kids did it 11 and 13. They love the excitement and are proper thrill seekers. They did 2 flights each and then my daughter did a third and went to the top both times. All the gear is provided and our instructor Jack was really good with the group and helped everyone to make the most of their flights. You get 1 minute per flight, which yes isn't long but it's very demanding and hard work the kids said. We have bought return tickets as they are discounted and I know they'll want to go back. Its a 2 hour drive for us so we made the most of the day and throughly enjoyed it.

It's not a cheap activity but it's extreme fun and a superb set up. I cant overstate how good the instructors are but they really can fly like super heros. Flying up to the top is an experience like no other (unless you go jump out of a plane I guess!). The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the place. Would love to do it all again

They need some refurbishment. They can paint the inside of tunnel to look nice and they need to replace the viewing glass which wasn't clear. I think some extra on spot coaching would help a child if they're not very confident. Over all good experience. High fly is a must option.

Having sky dived myself twice and my daughter coming to watch me, she had been saying for a long time that as soon as she hits 16 she wanted to do it. I looked at ifly for a while as I knew she would be able to do this at her age which is 7, I also decided to bring my niece and nephew along to. It was a surprise so they were over the moon when I told them this morning and showed them the safety video to prepare them. My daughter and nephew were pretty nervous when we arrived but their instructor Matt was lovely and put them at ease. He spoke to the entire group equally who ranged in age from 7 to around 40 so everyone understood. The kids absolutely loved their experience and yes it’s short but having paid upwards of £300 in England to sky dive and the same in America the experience lasts the same as free falling from 15,000ft which is what the experience is meant to replicate. The kids left desperate to go back and if I had been able to book there and then I would have (they offer discounts if you book on the day), we did however pay the £10 extra per child to do the high flight. Matt made sure i got some brilliant photos and videos of the kids by bringing them over to where I was stood. Overall an amazing experience for them and I would highly recommend. The lady on reception was also lovely too. We will definitely be back. Thanks Matt and ifly

1 "Flight"= 1 minute of tunnel, and first-time flyiers pay nearly double the regular (unposted) rate. They also hide the definition of "flight" until after you've already purchased your ticket online, only then do you see it's only a minute. After you go through the first time, they goahead and tell you that you can purchase more for about half the regular price, or even buy them for someone else at half the price.... The experience itself was a decent amount of fun though, just wish they were more upfront about what you would be getting, and not have so many "add-on" cost of 10 quid for a 3 minute video, that includes about the same amount of advertising than it does of you actually flying.

Well organised experience tonight for my son's 10th birthday. David was a fantastic instructor, friendly and very clear on his instructions. Would highly recommend for a different experience or gift.

Great experience. I was worrying for no reason. Instructors put you at ease right away and it's so exhilarating once you're in there. Nothing to be afraid of. Take it from someone who overthinks everything! :-)

I was terribly afraid to do this at 59. However the staff were so lovely and professional that I was quickly put at ease and even did the high fly, that was a turning point for me as I have been afraid of heights all my life. I honestly can't recommend it enough to anyone that thinks it's too high, I'm too old none of that is true. Fantastic experience and I can't wait to do it again.

My friends n I visited her with our children for a Summer holiday activity. It was really easy to find, the activity was at a greatly reduced cost and was in my opinion a fantastic experience. Staff were friendly and the instructors really were helpful. Would definatley visit again and recommend the high fly for the extra £10.

Definitely a confidence builder for eligible children, old enough to participate in this highly exciting flying experience. Go with great expectations and leave very satisfied. Don't worry about the wrong shoes. They will loan you a pair.

Brilliant place, brilliant like-minded people. This is a great one-off experience as well as a continued hobby, if you catch a bug like me! Been there more than 15 times already and each visit is an exemplary experience, each time leaving with big smile on my face. I wish I lived closer as I would visit more often then. Staff is super nice, and that is both the reception and instructors. I have had troubles getting there on time on more than one occasion, but they were always nice enough to simply allow me to re-book for a session later that day without any extra charges. I have been warned though, they only did it as one-off! They have great prices and their membership is even better if you plan a long-term skydiving experience. I can't recommend it enough.

Sam was amazing. There were quite a few kids in our group and he was great with them all. It was lovely to see how attentive, kind and patient he was with them. He made everyone feel relaxed and made the experience immaculate. It was also great to see the instructors do it with a lot more skill at the end! I have a lot of respect for them, balancing alone is difficult! 10/10 thank you for a great experience :)

Brought it as a end of school year present for the kids, they both loved it and were amazed at how exhilarating it was. Instructors were top notch and helped them to get the most out of their flight time.

This was a gift and I was not sure it was for me. As it goes, I enjoyed it. I wasn't good at it but I liked it. It is quite a surreal experience. The venue seems well-run and the staff all seem to enjoy their jobs. It is surprisingly busy for quite a niche activity. Watching those who have more coordination than me was good fun. Of course, you can do that with a coffee without throwing yourself into the wind tunnel! Apparently, I must keep my head up. This is a transferable bit of advice, I guess!

Just Be careful! Maybe it is a good flight, and it is your choice, but I decided not to go, because when you buy the voucher or ticket there is no information, that it is a very dangerous activity and there is the risk of injury and death. And before you go on your flight you have to accept that iFLY is not responsible for any injury or death. So you can see this information only after you have booked the date of fly. Also if you live far away from the place they don't take any responsibility if you will become just a little bit later even if it is motorway traffic or any reason. They just cancel the flight in this case. Also, I found information that there were already in the UK cases of very bad injuries and death and because my way to the place was quite long I decided not to go and not to risk, and it is very sad, that you can't make an exchange or get a refund. And as I already said you get all the information after you already booked the date.

Was given this as a present – what a present! The thrill and exhilaration one gets from each of the sessions is brilliant – whether you are a total thrill seeker or more passive. Essentially, you stay in the wind ‘chamber’, where this huge force of wind literally keeps you off your feet and flying, for only a one or two minutes, depending on which package you have bought, but what a thrill. You are likely to be in a small group of 6 or so and you rotate as each individual gets their flights. I had been bought a package that included the ‘high fly’, where you are taken high up in the chamber and brought back down twice – what a rush! On the first ‘run’ they will try to get you used to the whole experience, stay calm and gain the basic skills required to remain balanced and semi in control (?!😉), while on the 2nd run they will offer you the high fly if you were considered to be OK on the first run. From the initial ‘drop’, from a standing position with your arms reaching skywards one literally falls into the chamber, you are on the thrill rush as you will be trying to attain and maintain the positions required. The instructors are in there with you all the time to help and support you – they are wonderful and really make each session such an great experience. The whole centre is run so smoothly and extremely professionally, so do not worry if this is really way out of your comfort zone – the centre / staff are really supportive all the way through your experience. As with most attractions nowadays, there is the opportunity to purchase photos / video at the end, which are great, but even better are the other packages as a ‘returner’ that are offered you. It is not cheap to do, but certainly is a rush filled experience that is fully worth it.

Fabulous experience for our daughter who was invited by her lovely cousin. Most impressed by the very high quality of the people. Every member of staff was so professional and welcoming. Massive respect to the talented and patient instructor. Got my hesitant daughter in flight! So glad you did. HUGE thanks, will definitely be back.

Took an 8yr old and a 10yr old for their first indoor skydive. You get an online training video to watch before you go that you repeat so thats helpful. I had booked online and there was only 1 slot at 1600 so we booked the other child at 1630. When we checked in and saw this they put them both in the 1630 session which was much better. You can watch the other skydivers whilst you wait so you get a feel for what to do and not to. Our kids were nervous so there's pros and cons to seeing what you're in for beforehand. When you go for the briefing it all seems straightforward. Maybe they should get the customers to speak back the key points such as head up for the camera and straight legs as I think some forgot when out there. The instructor agrees a thumbs up system with parents where you can approve to have a high fly or an extra fly if there's time (both for extra cost but good idea as kids change their mind when on the flight). Important for all flyers, you must keep your legs straight and under control. One of ours didn't and he looked like a paper bag in a tornado. The other managed much better. Would definitely recommend. Would be a great as a starter for a work event /family bonding day. Only negative is no refreshments on site. Most of the people waiting parents/ spectators said they'd have had a cuppa.

Time spent at venue / to be accounted-for is not always accurate - depends to how busy they are. Overall facilities and Staff are great. 5 jumps in. Great place to feel the wind before going outdoors-skydiving. Maybe a fun birthday activity too; especially the jumps with VR headsets. Summit Up skiing is also just next door, which is perfect for combining full day activities.

We booked with Alex who was very helpful indeed and calmed our young daughter’s nerves. The instructor Matt was exceptional. He was giving each participant as much tuition as they needed and encouraging each person while keeping their experience completely safe. Indoor skydiving seems like a slightly crazy idea at first, but I am so glad we did it. Very professional, well done and safe environment. Will definitely return.

What was a one off birthday experience has turned into a weekly hobby. We as a family are absolutely hooked. Our instructor Matt is extremely passionate about making sure we have a great time in the tunnel everything else we master is a bonus. I can definitely say this is one of the most exciting things we have done together as a family and can't wait to see our progression over the next few months. Thank you 🌟

This was an amazing experience. Harder than I thought it would be but incredible fun. My only complaint would be that there were signals the instructor was giving to try and get us to stretch out our arms but he didn't tell us about it beforehand so I had no idea what he was trying to convey. More detailed instructions before would have been helpful. We seemed to get the information we needed at a debrief at the end. Otherwise it was really fun and the instructor was very helpful. Oh and be prepared to dribble 😂

  • 4/5 Leon D. 7 months ago on Google
Really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend it for anyone. There was people of all ages there and everyone seemed to enjoy it. As instructed we got there 45 mins early but the wait wasn’t long, you could see other people doing it and that was good fun to watch. The clothing and instruction was decent. The experience itself was quite exhilarating and even though it’s short it’s quite hard work so long enough but if I could have afforded to do more sessions it would be good to try to do more to improve. The £10 for a ride up to the top was worth it.

  • 5/5 Miss Chop S. 7 months ago on Google
Had an amazing first experience with iFly! You receive instructions prior to the lesson and you receive a briefing session before you fly from the instructor so you are in good hands. The actual “flying” definitely lives up to the hype so don’t miss it! Will definitely return for more lessons next time I’m back in Manchester!

Wow what an exciting experience! Booked this for my two daughters, aged 12 and 15, and they both absolutely loved it and are already talking about going back. We booked the kickstart package, as neither had done anything like this before. It involved 2 flights, and the option of a high flight with the instructor (which was an additional £10). The video and photo option was an additional £15. The instructors were very friendly and approachable and great with the kids. The whole experience felt very safe. The viewing area is big and comfortable so you have a good view of the people in the chamber, it was just a shame the cafe was closed as I think most people there would have had a hot drink and snack while they were waiting. Easy to find and plenty of parking available, we will definitely be coming back in the near future!

  • 5/5 Claire B. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent experience. My 16 year old son is in the middle of his AFF skydiving course and wanted to work on his turns and body position. He had four different instructors (over the course of four different sessions today, which equated to a lot of freefall time in the sky!) and all of them were skilled, encouraging and accommodating. Thanks especially to Matt and Richard, who both went above and beyond to assist. Your knowledge and time was much appreciated.

  • 5/5 Hon N. 9 months ago on Google
Great fun. Well instructed and looked after. No previous experience required. Just relax and the instructor will do the rest. You can progress with flying each time you visit to learn new skills. Will go again and would recommend.

Would just like to say thank you to all the staff at iFLY especially our instructor Tom, he was brilliant, very friendly, clear with his instructions and made us all feel at ease. The experience was amazing, definitely worth paying the £10 to do a higher flight, duration was for the right amount of time to enjoy it, I would definitely like to visit again in the future! 10/10 👍🏻😃

Great experience! First time for me. Yes you only get a short time, but it's enough for the experience. Extra option of higher flight worth trying once, but after having done it, I then wanted to practice my own skills at the lower level because you're more of a passenger on the high flight. Instructor and other staff very friendly. Great to try it out... would recommend giving it a go. Tip -look out for discount offers and book them in advance.

  • 3/5 Kam L. 1 year ago on Google
It's a good experience to try as a one-off but wouldn't keep going back. We went for the 2 flights each package which I'm really glad about because if it was only 1 flight I'd have been devastated as you're only in there for 60 seconds each flight but the second flight you can hover up high but they do charge a £10 supplement per person and you're still only in there for 60 seconds, I think having two flights based on personal confidence you should have been able to go higher without a surcharge because you're just hovering around at waist to head height if not. The whole experience lasts around 75 minutes to which 50 minutes is safety briefing and getting ready and then there's around 25 minutes in the dome where 10 individuals all gave 2 x 1 minute flights each. The staff were great and it was fantastic seeing how passionate the instructor Matt was about his role and the activity. It was a fun experience but I'd have been lots happier if I had 4 or 5 flights and maybe each flight being longer than the last. I suppose I didn't know exactly what to expect. If you've not tried it it's worth a go as a quirky experience.

Tbh, I was extremely nervous at first!. 1-2 minutes seems like a really short time until you’re really in there. The instructor Mark was so patient and friendly! I am definitely coming back. Without a doubt, I'll be returning. I really appreciate that they record films and take pictures of you inside; it's undoubtedly an experience worth remembering. I totally recommend P.s- It feels like a workout.

  • 5/5 Andy J. 1 year ago on Google
Had a great time there with all the family (6 to 42 yo) and everything was safe and controlled. Price can seem quite steep, however you have to Ballance that off against the cost of running the place and the training and skills for the people taking care of you on the day / in the chamber. My only criticism would be to do with the return flyer program pricing, you are presented with a good deal after your flight(s) however they need to be booked there and then, no option to check with other people that may be getting involved/available. There should be a way of adding these to the return pricing page you already get sent through even if they set it so that the expiry date of them is set from the flight date and not the purchase date.

My son has been going here for around 9 months se come every few months and he's learning something new each time. The instructors are great. It's a shame there's no coffee shop inside now. Gift vouchers bought but never received despite numerous emails and messages on their website. Tried to get a refund via PayPal and they rejected but then the email with vouchers came through however had already bought another voucher from another company. Such a shame but this is literally the poorest customer service I have received. They denied all knowledge of ever receiving any correspondence. Had to escalate to PayPal to get a refund!

Had an amazing first-time experience with iFLY Manchester earlier this year! The skydiving was so much fun to do and the staff were absolutely amazing. Dan and the Manager helped me sort out a problem that I was having when trying to buy a piece of memorabilia, Dan who I spoke to on the phone was friendly, patient and professional and the staff as a whole were incredible. Overall, it was a fantastic day out, very worthwhile and I definitely recommend the experience! Thank you again iFLY!

Gift was brought for a Birthday. The staff were welcoming and excellent covid compliance in place. The activity was well organised. Short briefing which covered the main points that customers are advised to watch prior to the day. Whilst the actual flight is 50-60 seconds it feels like a life time! There are a choice of merchandise available should you wish to purchase.
