Nobody could book tables despite 5 of 6 being empty, just incase every one of the 5 previous bookings turned up 25 minutes late to their 1 hour slot. Need more intelligent decision making in junior management. Numerous people argued and walked away for no reason.

Good fun. Only thing is I feel like they could clean the tiles that are next to the windows, where people leave their drinks while playing table tennis. Other than that it's really good

Too packed at least on Saturdays for being a basement. Games are great but they all require coins to be played which is ridiculous in 2023. Roxy ball room is a 4/5, I feel this is one level below it. Bit more chaotic and less features.

Went here with a friend early Saturday afternoon for the table tennis and a drink. £7 for half an hour and £12 for an hour at a table (not per person!) seemed very reasonable to me. Had a good time! Air conditioned, too. Decor is kinda unique - was okay with me, but not to everyone's taste. Bet it gets hecka busy in the evenings, though! Very good overall, definitely recommend.

Amazing little find to go for a fun game of ping pong and a few drinks before a night out. Friendly staff, great music but the door staff need better training and understand how to speak to customer

If you're after a place that will give you that Youth Club feeling of escapism, but that also serves alcohol, then this is the place for you. Popular with students and hipsters alike, Twenty Twenty Two offers a relaxed comes-as-you-are atmosphere, where everyone is made to feel welcome. The main attractions here are the numerous Ping-Pong tables and Dart boards, which can be rented for a fee. Randomly, last time I was in, they were showing Lord of the Rings, although surprisingly no one was watching it as most people were pretty slashed at this point. Only reason I didn't give them full stars is because the staff working there seem to absolutely hate their job and I've never seen any of them smile. But perhaps it contributes to the vibe.

We had a lot of fun, but tables were very close to each other, so you were constantly interrupted by your neighbours. Also £12,- an hour is a bit expensive in my opinion.

Super quiet, not much atmosphere. A bit grungy. On the plus side, we were able to get a table straight away, and the paddles and table were in a great state

Came here with my husband for darts & drinks, first time visiting and all staff were friendly, well priced, we were able to get a dart board straight away. We’ll be back

Very chilled bar with arcade games, ping pong and darts. We went as a large group on a Wednesday evening. They were busy and could accommodate us. They had a good range of drinks and also available ping pong tables for £7. As it was relatively empty, we could play for as long as we wanted. Lovely staff as well.

Fun space, waiting time for pingpong was okay with ~30 minutes (Friday night). Music was a little too loud sometimes which didn’t sound good. Overall it’s a little shabby/dirty. Staff were friendly!

Good fun bar, nice to have an activity to do while having a drink. Weeknights the tend to do deals/competitions/free play.

Loved the vibe, remember it from when I was a student a few years ago. I really loved the table tennis and the person on the desk giving all the equipment out was really lovely and helpful. Drinks were a bit expensive but that’s to be expected - really good night!

Really nice place to spend an afternoon or evening. Nice, relaxed feel even with everything going on. Plenty of seating areas if the games aren't your thing and there's a wide range of drinks at the bar, including some non-alcoholic ones. Bar area also has a projector, unsure if this shows any sport though. The table tennis and darts generally have good availability, but it does get quite busy on weekends, as expected. Have always entered before security are on the door, but on leaving one in particular was being the usual arsey bouncer type, but that seems to be a universal experience wherever you go now. Will definitely keep on returning though.

Love the vibe of this place - the beer pong, table tennis and dartboards certainly set it apart from other bars in Northern Quarter. Personally, I always try to book a table tennis court as generally you'll find people willing to give you a match in exchange for some form of wager (money or drinks) lol. Drinks are a tad on the pricier side, particularly if you're a student, but they are strong enough to notice them which is good.

Love this spot as a place to take your friends to introduce them to the northern quarter! I’ve been here a few times now, and the vibe’s always great. A few arcade games, lots of ping pong tables, all in the basement! Not too expensive for a table, and great when busy or quiet

Not my cup of tea but perhaps my visit with work colleagues around 6pm on a Tuesday evening is not representative of the venue. It felt a little bit grubby, it gave industrial almost slaughterhouse vibes. Besides me and my colleagues, there were only five or six others in the place. I suspect with a crowd of people late at night on the weekend, it may come to life but I doubt there's much of a draw midweek.

I hosted a work event here for around 45 people on a Thursday evening. The staff were so helpful and the venue was perfect. We pre-ordered Nell’s pizza with the booking and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend for future events!

Held a birthday here. Staff were helpful and the place is lively early and late, quietens down in-between.

Decent place for a few after work drinks. Not really an all night venue as after a few beers the ping pong balls flying around your head get much harder to dodge! Nice relaxed vibe though for a casual night.

Great bar with a great selection of drinks, lots of gins vodka and a great selection of beer on draft. They offer darts and ping pong. As well as some old arcade games whilst you drink. Will definitely be returning.

Visiting some pals over the weekend in which they recommended to come here for a few drinks and a game of ping pong. Quite the awesome little place. A sizeable bar with seating, in which transforms into quite a large dancefloor. The others rooms host ping pong tables and some darts boards, which you have to speak with the staff to book a table/board. The team here seemed very friendly, and the drinks were of a typical price for central Manchester. I would recommend this to everyone.

Something different, reasonably priced for the tables although the place could do with some windows or ventilation. It's an absolute sweatbox down there. Toilets are not the best either. Nonetheless really enjoyed our night.

This bar is an experience. They often play films, football or other videos on their projector, but the music always covers the audio. They have ping pong tables set up, though they are always busy. The drinks are a little expensive, and the aesthetic looks like a proper dungeon, being mostly concrete with a few tables. It's also difficult to find being a little off the beaten path and down a creepy staircase. You just have to try it.

Great night out, friendly staff and good music. £5 for 30 mins of ping pong is a solid deal as well.

Chose this place as the venue to have a few friends get together and celebrate my 40th. Rachael was a huge help during the covid-affected booking process and the staff on the night (from what I remember) we're fantastic as well! Also, sorry for climbing onto your table!

Cool event space that you can hire for a reasonable rate. They have good music (hip hop, funk, electro kinda stuff) a decent beer selection and it has a real grungey kinda vibe. As well as playing ping pong, you can often see art here there as they us the space as a gallery quite often and it's open late on a weekend if you want to party on.

Had a wonderful evening in here. Met lovely people. Had a dance drinks and a game of ping pong 🏓
