Just had my first to McDee's and it won't be my last. Full English breakfast was superb, certainly one of the best I've ever had and very friendly staff. Already looking forward to my next visit to Culcheth

I'd just like to share my negative experience today. I called in as I had an hour spare before an appointment and figured I'd utilise my time by completing a quick module for a course I'm on. I was welcomed in and grabbed a seat in the corner and set up my Ipad. The friendly lady brought me a menu. I asked for her cake recommendation as I couldn't decide. She was great. A couple of minutes later my coffee and carrot cake were brought to me with a smile while I logged in to my training portal. 20 minutes or so later another lady came over and gestured me to take my headphones off to tell me, "You can't do that in here we are not an Internet cafe. We are not allowed to charge our phones so neither are you. You know electricity is expensive and we don't have Internet like that you need to go somewhere else" I was absolutely mortified id just been asked to leave!! I must note it wasn't busy only 3 indoor tables occupied 11:30am. May I suggest that you don't display the WiFi password on the walls and at the counter if WiFi is not to be used. Or advise people before they order and log in to their devices. I'm sure on the whole most people will like this place but to be asked to leave for using an ipad was not good

Called here late this morning, outdoor and indoor tables available. I had a full breakfast which was cooked to perfection, followed by a generous / perfect slice of delicious lemon meringue. Finished off with an excellent quality cappuccino. The service was exemplary in every way. Highly recommended.

Love this cafe, never had a bad meal yet. The quiche is divine and the cakes are just scrumptious. My husband swears by the full English breakfast

I always enjoy visiting this cafe - good food and nice staff. The only small drawback is you order at table (which is great!) but have to go counter to pay.

Horrible place, incredible rude waitresses !!! Very child NOT FRIENDLY. My little girl was playing a game and we were told for her to be quite even tho it wasn’t loud at all and there was so much taking there we couldn’t hear ourselves. Just horribly rude !!! Go to quench next door !!! Very nice and friendly place !

Great cafe with lovely food. It’s clearly very popular in the village, often people wait on the tables outside for an inside table. The staff are lovely adding to the great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend the full English breakfast.

We've been here more than a few times at this point and we are never disappointed. The food is always exceptionally well cooked and the ingredients are top notch!

Pleasant friendly service and reasonably priced. However our flat white was more like americano and the cakes were a little over sweet, especially as they were dribbled with additional sauce which didn't really go. I had carrot cake and the overriding flavour was cinnamon

Really enjoyed an afternoon tea yesterday ( anniversary surprise to the other half!) . Had many afternoon teas elsewhere but this one stood out for all the good reasons. The staff were very polite and welcoming and we'll be returning in the future. Many thanks for making it a great occasion.

Excellent cake and friendly staff, but little bit expensive. Small area inside and can feel cramped when busy.

What a place. I just love coming here. He meat locally sourced and just cooked to utter perfection. You do have to be in early or you won't get a table. However the wait is certainly worth it. I just love this place. Highly recommended For a Saturday treat.

Went in for the first time to have lunch. Had a lovely jacket potato and a hot chocolate. The cafe was lovely to sit in with nice staff. Will go again.

We go over to Culcheth every now and then and we always have a breakfast at McDee’s, they make the very best all day breakfast ever. Good food, nice atmosphere, good service and reasonable prices, what more could you ask for?

This place is a hidden gem. Excellent home made food, freshly prepared and really friendly staff. We'll definitely be returning here.

Very nice place. Only marking it down because I had to re-ask for a forgotten coffee and the wrong bread came with my breakfast. A very nice environment it busy without being overwhelming.
