Best pub in Urmston especially if you like real ale, a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and plenty of space. Nice private outdoor area and ready parking too.

Me and my boyfriend and 3 friends who were visiting from London tried to enter this spoons at approx 11pm and were greeted with a door man who told us that no groups were allowed. The doorman then proceeded to ask if any of our group were couples. Me and my boyfriend responded saying that we were a couple, which the doorman responded “ no be serious” and completely avoided our claim, he did not believe we were a couple and did not let any of us into the establishment even tho we did not pose any threat and we just wanted a drink. We view this as serious homophobia and advise any LGBT couple to avoid this pub. We hope that Wetherspoons replace this doorman and educate their personal on adequate guest management and not to subject any of their guests to homophobia. What a shame in this day and age that young couples and friends are subjected to this.

Usual Spoons fare. Clean, warm pub. Friendly staff.

Women managers are on power trips. Used to go all the time but can’t stand going in there now as you’ll get told off for anything, not a fun place to be anymore.

Great selection of beers, which you don't get in many pubs these days, and at less than £2 a pint...5⭐. And the food is also 5⭐

it's a Wetherspoons so u know what to expect. it is nice enough though. the staff are nice, service good, clean and tidy. I've only ever been in the morning for an American breakfast which is v nice. pancakes are a bit hit and miss, sometimes seem a bit rubbery. overall a nice experience.

It's an okay place is you want a quick cheap drink. Staff weren't that friendly or helpful. Glass had lipstick stain on and place looked dirty. Won't be returning soon

Poor experience... bar girl was lovely... food average.. not very hot.. had some fruit cider that smelt bummy and glass wasnt clean. Local nobhead at next table talkin about battering his bird.... yeah... not for me

Bit scary in that place if your there later in the evening Was mostly teenagers with crouds of lads coning in in there droves Looked as if it was about to kick off so we left rather quickly

What a bargain english breakfast £3.11 including coffee (freedom). But then I don't just come for the breakfast, the staff are smashing too. One member even got my coffee because I use a walking stick.

Tremendous atmosphere, you'll need to wait a bit in a queue, but definitely a great place for a beer. Very good prices. Can't rate the food though

I had a jacket potato which should have come with tuna n coleslaw n butter pat. The jacket potato skin was as hard as a rock n you couldn't cut through it. Tuna was very dry. No butter pat or coleslaw n wasn't asked how my meal was. Which is very disappointing. The chain overall seem to have gone down a lot.

Nice little stop off for breakfast. Two breakfasts and refillable hot drinks for £6 incredible value for money, combined with great service from friendly staff.

Lovely meal and great value. A couple of disruptive customers were dealt with very efficiently and calmly by the staff

Just popped in .had a chicken and cured bacon salad really yummy and drinks extremely inexpensive plus all staff very professional and polite. Worth a visit .definitely..Joe s mum

Very Busy but food came out hot. Tables not cleared or cleaned quick enough. Staff very professional. Shame table clearance let them down.

Absolute Bobbins The staff look like they don't want to be there, the customers were queue jumping zombies and the doormen are a throwback of a by gone era. The whole atmosphere had that feel tbh, maybe its the the area. It could of bin down to drunken Friday night vibes so il try it on another night and re review, but won't be anytime soon. Also, it's tiny! The smallest spoons I've ever been to and I've been to alot. Beer selection was good, at least.

Utter shambles ordered two drinks on the app, waited 15 minutes so went to the bar, was asked within a minute what I wanted, said the drinks I had ordered a quarter of an hour ago, at this point they checked the screen and served me my drinks ,if they were busy they might have had a point, there were two people at the bar and that was the busiest they had been, lazy staff who couldn't care less
