Pre-Theatre
dinner
which
could
have
been
5
stars
but
for
the
lack
of
quality
service!
We
have
the
following:
-
Polpetté
(sourdough
w
meatballs)
-
Pollo
Pizza
-
Ribeye
steak
w
Parmesan
fries
and
truffle
oil
-
Lasagne
-
Créme
Brûlée
-
Tiramisu
Barring
the
rib-eye
which
I
ordered
medium
rare
(came
out
well
done)
and
the
fries
which
had
barely
any
Parmesan,
or
truffle
oil
to
its
touch
or
taste.
There
was
a
perfect
balance
of
sauce,
layers
and
meat
in
the
lasagne
and
not
too
much
sauce
to
drench
the
sourdough
in
Polpetté.
My
favourite
dish
however
was
the
dessert
and
namely
the
Créme
Brûlée!
Silk
smooth
texture
which
was
rich
and
creamy
to
its
taste!
As
mentioned
above,
my
only
gripe
was
the
service.
When
I
discovered
the
steak
nor
the
fries
were
satisfactory,
I
waited
for
the
waiter,
looking
around,
none
to
be
seen
or
approaching
us.
Another
instance
where
I
wanted
a
drink,
again
nobody
to
be
seen
or
made
approachable
!
The
table
was
also
wonky
but
we
didn’t
unfortunately
have
time
on
our
hands
to
wait
for
another
table.
To
top
things
off,
we
at
no
stage
in
our
meal
were
ever
actively
approached
by
any
waiter,
to
see
if
our
food
was
ok
and
we
were!
I
mean
you
get
ask
that
question
in
Nando’s
😂
,
for
a
place
that
prides
themselves
for
being
the
oldest
Italian
restaurant
in
Manchester,
not
sure
how
much
longer
that
will
last
with
such
dire
service
(vouched
for
by
friends
who
have
been
and
other
reviews
read).
To
add
insult
to
injury,
when
making
payment
we
opted
not
to
pay
the
service
charge
based
on
the
reasons
above,
the
waiters
face
dropped
and
he
waited
for
the
approval
of
payment
and
scurried
off
as
if
we
had
insulted
him!
