Amazing venue. Had an evening out here and the place is so great: super versatile with lots of themed music rooms and big venue, perfect for big birthday party groups. Catered to many tastes of music and experience. They also do good at the venue so you won’t have to leave for munchies! Loved the disco room upstairs with all the glitter panelling. Really pretty and atmospheric venue. Loved the beer they had called E1 Brew Co. They also did a good range of other beers.

My first time properly out since lockdown and this bar made it worth the wait! Made the most of happy hour and stayed until 4 am. The staff really get involved with everyone and make the experience very fun! A very nice addition to the printworks.

Great place, delicious food and amazing drinks! Brilliant atmosphere, cocktails half priced before night rush starts, it's good to go early as queues get crazy as it gets later and it gets rammed later in the night. But anyway really enjoyed my night, will definitely visit next time!

Visited Cargo this weekend and WOW! What an atmosphere. Sat outside in sun and made the most of the amazing cocktails and fishbowls!! The night was just as good, 4 rooms and unreal DJS. Drinks were flowing all night. Very good vibes!! Will definitely be back

Will never return. Arrogant bouncers, lack of respect from staff. Even asked to speak to the manager Andy and he had no respect for our group, wasn’t interested how the door staff were treating us. When I requested the door man’s ID number, he refused to give it to me and threatened to call the police for asking. Clearly in the wrong if he can’t provide his ID. Drinks are way over priced £12.50 for a vodka. And the door staff will sell you tickets and tell you you can’t enter when you get to the front of the queue. Disgusting establishment avoid at all costs.

Good venue to go dancing or socialising.. a few different rooms to go in . Different genre of music in each room.. can hire out a private function room.. expensive on certain drinks though. A single vodka and lemonade was £7.20 ish and was in a very small glass. Bouncers and staff were nice though. The dj on top floor was brilliant and played some good songs..shuts around 5am and there are a few close takeaways ..not too strict on clothing attire. Was £10 entry on Saturday night

AVOID THIS NIGHTCLUB! - WORST NIGHTCLUB IN MANCHESTER 1. THE SECURITY MISTREAT YOU. - the security are disgusting. They will take your ID of you for just looking drunk and kick you out regardless of your coat being in the cloakroom or not. I was kicked out for standing near a fight. YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR ID BACK. 2. THE DRINKS ARE OVER PRICED - they will attempt to over charge you as much as they possibly can even if you ask for the cheapest drink they will still charge you a lot and insist that you asked for the expensive choice 2 vodka cokes single comes to about £20. I was charged £50 for three vodka cokes. 3. RACIAL COMMENTARY - the staff will target anyone that is not Caucasian. 4. VIP - payed £40 for vip just to be told to leave after 20 minutes as other people who payed more wanted it.

I visited in daytime, we got 25%voucher so the prices where good. The burger is amazing. The decorations are also really fun. Only the service was a bit lose but still worth to visit

Paid £20 for two of us to get in, then wanted another £5 each for us to re enter, dead on a Saturday night. £13 for two shots, £24 for two double vodkas with Diet Coke. Woman on the door very passive aggressive, saying she explained to everyone that night there was a fee to re-enter, what’s the point in giving people wristbands? Understand the rent is probably expensive but making things cheaper would definitely bring in more people. Still absolutely baffled by how expensive it was. Won’t be going again. Much cheaper options throughout the printworks.

We waited 2 and a half hours only to be told our tickets had “expired” even though it clearly stated on our tickets last entry was at 3am, they were trying to make us pay £8 for entry even though we already had a valid ticket. When we explained that last entry was 3am on our tickets we were told to leave. Avoid this club, the worst experience we’ve had with clubbing they are clearly trying to get more money safe to say I will never be visiting this club again and will make sure all of my friends are warned to never come near this place. Staff were so rude literally cannot believe they can get away with treating us like this, we were nothing but respectful trying to show them the last entry on our tickets but we were ignored and they demanded we pay £8. Save your money and avoid this place.

Absolutely shocking! Visited last week for food. The food itself was awful, it tasted off. Very surprised as it’s not cheap but it made me sick for following 3 days. The meat was gristle and borderline inedible. How you can call yourself a restaurant is beyond me. I’ve had better food at KFC. Disgusting. Will never return

Clubbing, relaxation, music, cocktails, spirits, beer etc doesn't get better than CARGO! Such a purely enjoyable evening at this beautiful "theatre of enjoyment". There is so much going on under this roof, located within the iconic Printworks in the very heart of Manchester City. Cargo is better experienced than explained. From the security at the entrance, to the beautiful bar one finds as one walks in, to the elaborate dance rooms spread across two floors within the building, the waiters and bartenders, the DJs, the cocktails, everything! This place is very decently managed, to say the least. Entry is free. Happy hour extends till 9pm. There is a bargain on cocktails and drinks too. Lovely club I must say!

Good music but very bad staff. I broke my specs. and instead of helping me find it theu kick me out. Would not suggest this club to anybody. Songs are good but employees are extremely disrespetful and power hungrt. Broke my glasses at this event. Actually a good venue but staff service very poor and would NEVER come back again

We got free tickets off of fatsoma and the last entry was 10:30 pm. We got there for 10 pm and had to still pay the £10 entry fee. The bouncers had a massive ego trip and were pushing us back into a place where there was no space. When we got in we were not allowed in all rooms for whatever reason (it was not explained by the bouncers) which meant that we were stuck with the worst DJ ever, who couldn't decide whether he wanted a jungle rave or to play Mr Brightside. Overall I'd just stay away. Worst club in Manchester.

Never been to Manchester before, went with a few friends and really enjoyed it, food was great, got a free fish bowl and the customer service was amazing, shout out to aggie for making our time extra special and making us some shots! the guy on the door was super polite too! recommend if you want to have a good laugh.

Mixed kebab was filling and plentiful but was same price on menu as so called offer price on groupon. Cash only as card machines had stopped working and the place was totally empty except for 1 member of staff. Don't think this place is worth a visit

I loved being at Cargo yesterday. First time going to a club alone and I had a great time. It was just they didn't serve half pints I had to buy a pint. Great experience overall, bouncers were polite as well for me.

This has been one of my worst clubbing experiences of my life. Visited Manchester from London expecting a good night of clubbing. Instead we were racially abused. The ladies who were with us were threatened by guys in the club and when we asked the guards to intervene we were physically manhandled and forcefully pushed out of the club. A bouncer named Michael and a manager named Rebecca were the only people who listened to our situation, which we respect. When my friend went to complain about the guys threatening her, the bouncer said "stop playing the victim card". Guess what, the guys who harassed us were still inside the club while we were the ones who were thrown out. We still have no clue if any reasonable action has been taken against them. I don't think who respects their partner or their significant friends should ever go to the club. We just hope this situation does not happen to anyone else in the foreseeable future.

Staff very unprofessional my girlfriend lost her bag found a member of staff with it. I know they can look in it. All I was asking for them to see the ID to see if it matches with my girlfriends name. That’s all they needed to do. I don’t want to waste my time to see if it isn’t. I would not touch the bag they don’t need to say the name only confirm it’s my girlfriends name so I can get her to get her bag. They would not do that until I pestered them. They have a right to search the bag I told them i wouldn’t touch it just needed confirmation. The manager is very unprofessional and I’m not happy how the staff treats the customer. I don’t think personally it was an unreasonable request. I don’t want to waste my time so I could search the last place I was at

Overall a decent venue to come to (depending on the night and music). Drinks prices are fairly standard given the city centre & busy area near Arndale.

What a transformation! This place used to be Tiger Tiger and was pretty busy but came on the weekend and was blown away! We had cocktails which were on the happy hour offer and were great. Will definitely be coming back!

Have been here for food, which is really really good, definitely and another time for drinks on a night out. 100% recommend ❤️

Not been out since lockdown and can proudly say I had the best night here! Customer service on point! Drinks given to us beautifully! Bar tenders had lovely manners and made sure we had everything we needed.also loved the atmosphere..music was great and seating arrears.would definitely recommend a night out here in Manchester! *WORST CLUB IN MANCHESTER* Both times I have visited this place and experienced racism and discrimination towards my friends. Extremely aggressive, rude and obnoxious bouncers. There was no valid reason for the bouncers aggression, we walked past them calmly and in a friendly manner before waiting for an Uber off the premises. Out of nowhere one bouncer grabbed one of my friends by the arm from behind and dragged him away from the group. Completely unprovoked. Naturally, as a group we were concerned for our friends being dragged away without a word said, so we all instinctively began to protect our friend and ask the bouncer to let go and continuously asked what the reason for this aggression was. Unsurprisingly we were ignored. Another male in our group was attempting to free the other male before he was pushed to the ground by his neck having his legs swiped from beneath him by the bouncer. Leaving him covered in bruises, grazes and bleeding wounds. This attack happened due to accidental spillage of some shots being carried by a shot-girl. The males we not drunk enough to have done this without noticing and are adamant they did not even knock the girl. The situation then escalated further even though the original male was already talking to the team about the incident. The bouncers were aggressive and malicious towards a very confusing situation and were VERY SELECTIVE on what they chose to record on their body cams. We asked to speak to a manager and we were met with 'good luck with that', 'theres not a chance I'm getting a manager', 'you won't get anywhere with that'. Not a single member of staff even acknowledged our presence or the aggression and disrespect were met with. In an attempt to defuse the situation we paid the £12 for the allegedly split shots and were hoping to walk away. This was not the case, the bouncers were persistently rude and aggressive towards us. Whilst this was happening we also witness similar group having the same issues, being told to leave. It felt extremely targeted towards minority groups and the other victims felt the same. Clearly there is an issue with the morals of the bouncers at this club. Will not be returning and the footage of the incident has been logged, in attempt to give a real representation of what happened rather than the SELECTIVE footage that the bouncers may have.

Stepping into Cargo is like entering a labyrinth of misplaced enthusiasm. The management couldn’t run a bath, let alone a nightclub. The drinks prices are a financial bungee jump, leaving your wallet in free fall. The venue’s liveliness is a myth, and the décor appears to have survived one too many nightlife revolutions. If you enjoy waiting for drinks like it’s a slow-motion scene in a movie, this is your paradise. In short, Cargo is a shipwreck in the sea of Manchester’s nightlife.

DO NOT GO HERE. I've been here twice and have had awful experiences both times. The drinks are over priced but most of all the bouncers are so rude, I've never experienced anything like it. Unfair and speak to people in an awful manner for no reason. It ruins the experience.
