Staff at the entrance were friendly and helpful. Real cashiers available to use instead of the self service tills a definite plus. The garden centre staff were helpful. Place is tidy but needs more staff. Building department very hard to find the staff.

B&Q offer a convenient Click and Collect service. In theory. However when you order 5 rolls of wallpaper, collect them and then return home to find that there are 3 different batch numbers among the 5 rolls - then the theory turns to mush. An unnecessary additional nearly 10 mile return trip to return the rolls and collect replacements.

Nice DIY store, it has everything you need for building things in your home and nice little pools for the garden. We especially liked the key cutting machine, made the keys in under 3 minutes and they fit perfectly. 3 keys for the price of 2 (12 pounds). We will come again

Disappointing ..... went in for 4 items, black bracket for downpipe, chrome doorstop, graphite hammerite paint and white screw caps, not one of these were in stock. Usually, shop here as hubby has a trade card and normally purchases all his wood and joinery items here, the wood cutting service is good. Will continue to shop here, however they need to keep shelves stocked better.

Illegally misleading priced items on shelves. 2 for £10, I was charged £58. When I realised and went back in to challenge the charge, I was told some fiction that a customer must have switched the items around. Switched from where?

Asked two different members of staff for help in finding two different products. Both were unhelpful and apathetic, barely willing to stop and engage in conversation. One offered the sage advice "if you can't see what you're looking for we don't stock it. Just have a look on-line". Brilliant... Why didn't I think of that before leaving the house!

I called into the store for a replacement grill for my BBQ. The guy on the BBQ section was absolutely awesome. He arranged for the grill to be ordered and delivered the next day. He was so knowledgeable, he gave some amazing tips for cooking on my BBQ'. Our coronation party was a great success. All thanks to all the Bury B&Q BBQ sales assistants. Thank you , you were brilliant!

I recently visited the Bury store looking for some durable garden gloves as I had some very thorny rose bushes I wanted to get rid of. I asked a young assistant called Harrison, who was very helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to help me. He even tested them out on a rose bush to see if they were thorn proof. He is a valuable asset to the company!

Issue with a vanity unit I bought last year, but Neil the duty manager made the exchange with another unit effortless. Very professional, thank you so much🙂

Went look for bathroom ideas, a member of staff was really helpful, I even got ideas for the Kitchen. We have renovated 3 of our properties over the last 30 years, and B & Q always had something new and innovative.

Found what I needed, but honestly the prolifing aganist us, aggressively asking if if we paid for our items as we just did, because if I'm going to steal something I'm going to make my way out holding a bunch of things and slowly walkout with everyone seeing us. >:(

We would like to express our thanks to Mark, in the plumbing/ fittings area, for the exceptional service he provided in relation to technical problems relating to the operation of our shower system.

Good B&Q staff are always helpful, I have planned a few kitchens with B&Q this one at Bury was the best, most patient and kept the cost down by having the end panels part of the carcass rather than gluing them on.

Great to see Kingfisher Group investing in B&Q after 2 very profitable years of COVID - long overdue. Most branches, including this one at Bury, have undergone a refresh with new toilets, displays, generic layouts and stock locations. Can you buy it cheaper elsewhere?, probably, but will you?, probably not. Convenience comes at a price so don't be hoodwinked by the size of the store, you're most definitely paying for it!

One of my best shops, pop in here fairly regularly. I do compare prices and this place helps me do this. I do buy gear here and the last visit ended up chatting with a member of staff about tools for about 30mins, very useful and helpful.

Over the years I have found B&Qs to be pretty much the same wherever you go. Well laid out stores, and well stocked with most things the eager spanner or brush enthusiasts could want. Staff are generally friendly and keen to help. And the Bury store is no exception to these standards.

Love the garden centre. Bought some lovely plants to give my garden some colour. At the check out I notice one of the plants I had picked up was looking a little poorly, instead of swapping it the cashier reduced it to half price. So after soaking it a bucket of water and some tlc the plant is looking perky this morning. Thank you B&Q.
